I enjoyed my stay here but I will list good and bad points.
Bad Points
New Pool does not look any closer to ever being built!
Pitch's very close together
Shower blocks very very slippy when wet as I found out!
Park small for the amount of children on the site.
Needed more kid clubs during the day
Only one set of bins (container) which was a good 10 minute walk from the dog field, (no fun in wind and rain).
Security in the Country club look at you as if you are dirt and are going to rob the place!
Good Points
Shower block very cleen
Keith, Deano and hooty great with kids
Evening entertainment was good Foxx and storm were my favourites
Reception staff very friendly
I would visit this park again, but hope they can sort out bigger pitches

we have been to Homefarm holiday park 4 times last year and can not say a bad thing about it. It is truly excellent we have been to many parks like this in Devon and Cornwall and they just don't match this place. The toilets and showers are always clean, the entertainment is brilliant for the kids ( Hooty the owl ) and the new guy so good. The adults entertainment is good too, the grass pitches are good, going to try the hardstanding in easter 08 can't wait. The place is very clean, superb staff, brill pool location, overall great. I just wish they had better lager. More choice apart from this we can't moan, our son loves it here, the new indoor pool should be great.

Have just returned from 2 weeks on this site. The weather was very mixed with varying degrees of rain in the first week. The site owners seriously need to look at their drainage system as our tent become waterlogged in most of the living area after the first downpour and did not dry out for the whole fortnight. This wasn't just our misfortune to have been put on a bad pitch as we witnessed other unfortunate caravanners having to wade through ankle deep mud and puddles to get into their units. Many people had to move their units - awnings and all - to a new pitch. The site is also extremely tightly packed. There is little or no space to relax in your pitch area - which for us is a huge part of our holiday - as you are placed so closely to your neighbours both side-by-side and to the rear. We went with friends and were unable to get two pitches together despite having mentioned this when booking. Members of staff seem to make up rules as they go along and did not appear to be concerned with the issues that we had. The cleanliness of the shower/toilet blocks was dependent on the cleaner on duty and several times we found that the toilets were out of toilet paper last thing at night/first thing in the morning. A pretty disappointing fortnight all-in-all, certainly not the relaxing holiday that we were after.

We have just returned from a long weekend and I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with our stay. We were really looking forward to visiting, website looked very good. The campsite was very waterlogged and muddy and the pitches were very close together, not very good when you have a three year old. There is a lot of noise from the main road and railway track. The toilets are just o.K. Floors are constantly wet and the water from the adjacent shower cubicle flows through yours, awkward when you are trying to dry. The outside pool is very good but we did not use it as we had terrible weather. The club house had some good entertainment but is quite pricey.

We have just returned from a week at Home Farm and can I say we absolutely loved it, the hard standing pitches are a little close together but that didn't matter because we had fantastic neighbours, in fact it's the friendliest site we have ever been on, all the caravanners in our little cul-de-sac were so nice, we are all going to meet up again next year in Torquay. Burnham-on-sea hasn't much to offer and the sea is disgustingly dirty (our daughter ruined her new bikini )and the so called sand is mud and sinking sand. We went to Devon for a day out, the beaches and sea is beautiful there. But this camp site made our holiday, The outdoor pool is amazing our kids loved it and we dropped on a hot and sunny week which made it even better. We saw some good entertainment in the club house too. The takeaway food isn't that cracking, but the well stocked supermarket is, it even sells locally farmed cider from the farm across from the site (it's quite strong). We also visited Brean Leisure Park which was fab it cost us £17.99 each for a wrist band for all day which was well worth it if you have 11 and 12 year olds.I wish this site was nearer to us as we would visit every weekend but 6 hours is long way to travel for a weekend. If we ever go back we would definitely go for 2 weeks. Please try it it's GREAT!

I Have been to this park every year since 2003. I love it, The pool is great, When the weather is nice and out of season like when we had hot weather 2 weeks ago it was great. The entertainment is fab. They had a lady last year who was shocking but the new guy this year Richard, he is doing a good job. Hope he stays for many years. The supermarket is always well stocked aswell as the fishing lake. I have friends that have just purchased a static caravan overlooking the lake and I must say wow. Going back in July for the weekend and 10 days in August. Just love it, tried the rest but this is the best.

I rate this site no higher than 5 out of 10. Used this site in the Autumn 2006 on two separate weekends. Both times we had friends stay in the 'dog field' with their own tourers - very noisy from traffic. Not many facilities open in the Autumn. The Clubhouse was alright but not particularly exciting at that time of the year - made much worse by children running about and screaming very late in the night - knocking into people with drinks etc. In all fairness, it is o.k. For that time of the year - but only just o.k. One shower block was fine but the other was a bit scruffy, your clothes got wet and the floors were awash and water flowed from one persons cubicle along the floor to another. The Cleaner wasn't helping this by swishing the water through all the time with a brush. The hot water ran out in the scruffy block more than once. We have just stayed again in May 2007. We stayed three nights, parked the caravan there for two nights and then stayed another three nights. The costs to us, as two Pensioners, weren't too bad. However, the costs on this site are for TWO PEOPLE ONLY in the caravan. Our two Pensioner-friends came to stay and the charge was unnecessarily high for their two nights and a car. The decent shower block was out of use completely for EIGHT DAYS and still no sign of repair by the time we left. E veryone had to rely on the scruffy shower block which ran out of hot water every morning and again, the water ran through from one shower cubicle to another and the floor was muddy from everyone having to shower in their flipflops. Very uncomfortable all round. Yet again the clubhouse was full of screaming children even when the caberet act was on stage. I would only give this site 5 out of 10.

Stayed here at the beginning of Sept Thurs-Mon, weather wasn't very good whilst we were there except for one day- so we couldn't make the most of the pool, but then it was Sept not July -UK not Spain! However if the weather was good the pool is a fantastic feature of the site, its huge with a smaller kids pool. The site's reputation is fabulous, however there was a group of 18 of us and we wouldn't rate it as highly as its reputaion states BUT we would give a 6 out of 10. The site itself is big, the pitches aren't huge though, the evening entertainment on paper looked brilliant, however there is a very annoying women that handles the kids games and introducing the acts -no offence but shes a bit old with a very annoying voice and says the sames things over and over-by the end of the 4 nights we knew word for word what came next! More than one act were definately mining too.If you have small children beware-as you enter the club the arcades hit you first, kids cant be seen from the main club when in there and it leads outside-would've been safer at the back of the building. To stay until after 10am on departure you have to pay £5 otherwise they wont lift the barrier to get out! Not a bad sight but not a brilliant sight either.

Stayed here for four night to see fireworks and carnival which is a must. Site is huge and split into areas not ideal if taking dogs as they put you at the back by busy railway line and also busy road. The dog walk goes round by railway line but a lot of poo not picked up but bins were provided. The clubhouse is big with eating area, stage, fruit machines and chill out area. Entertainment didn't start till ten pm before and after that just a disco there is one game of bingo which lasts all of ten minutes. One sat night band played for just 45 minutes, as site was very busy because of carnival I thought this poor. The staff are young and don't seem interested. I must stress there was an issue of security some vans had items stolen but no damage to our group of vans. Will use site again but only for carnival and short stay.

Not impressed with this site at all.it has a high star rating but was quite poor for the prices they charge . The pitches were booked for the carnival weekend with a group, £70.00 was charged £2.00 for a gate key which I did not want but was told I had to have, even though I did not want to leave the site in my motorhome. When I booked the site they asked the length of my motorhome and they put me on a pitch which is 6ft too small ,was put on dog pitches and had no dog, trains passing all day. Entertainment was very poor, seen better on X factor. Pitches were very close, hope they never have a fire in anyone's van, it seems the site was just after your money. After you had been to reception which they told people to park anywhere, then along comes a young man who tells you to move, no organisation on this site what so ever. Will never return to this site and will not recommend friends either.
