This site is just off the M5, conveniently located close to the motorway just outside Burnham, a short walk from Tesco. There is a Morrisons close by in Burnham Centre, as well as pound shops, chemists, shoe and clothes shops and a Wetherspoons.
This was our 2nd visit to Home Farm.
We stayed there for 8 nights in July 2013 and had a great week, evening entertainment was pretty good, although the park should warn parents that some acts are not suitable for children. Beer isn't cheap but we bought 4 pint pitchers for around £11. We had pitched on a grass pitch right in front of the play area so we could see our children from the window however there were some much older kids there and our children felt intimidated sometimes.
The showers were ok, are cleaned regularly but could do with updating/servicing/maintaining. Over all we thought it was good value for money and booked again
Our second visit was a bit different as there had been quite a bit of rain over Easter. We had to buy a waterproof tarp to put under our awning carpet. There was a dip in the middle of the pitch which squelched and turned into a muddy soup, thank goodness for our tarp! The evening entertainment was almost the same as the first time but we didn't mind.
We were disappointed with the showers this time, they were luke warm and some didn't work. We did use the laundrette and all worked ok. We had quite a game with the electric as it kept tripping, no electrician on site over the bank holiday meant we were worried about the fridge defrosting. We got to use the indoor pool free of charge - this must've been introduced recently.
Overall I'd say it's great value for money but could do with a tidy up and better maintenance all round.
We have just booked our 3rd visit in a few weeks time. After searching the net for an alternative, just to do something different, we couldn't find anything anywhere near as cheap as Home Farm with the same level of facilities. Better the devil you know! We have our fingers crossed we don't get too much rain before then.

Stopped on this site during the easter bank holiday weekend, arriving on the Friday afternoon. Our first impressions was the site was a little overcrowded but seemed a nice well kept park. Facilities are good as are the bar / restaurant etc being well priced too. Staff are extremely helpful. Only real down side were the toilets, chemical disposal point always blocked and the hook ups kept tripping out. Would also recommend pitching on grass rather than the hard standing. Ideally situated just off the M5 and close to all other towns. Would use this site again but try not to use on bank holidays

I can only say if you have standards about facilities, then do not go! the toilets were awful! stained orange and brown where the water runs down into the bowl is bad enough but the dirty stained pans were worse. The showers were spacious, very hot and powerful. So powerful everything got soaked as there was no area to place or hang dry clothing and towels. Extra is charged for dogs but for what. A dog run 10 ft wide and 200 yrds long next to a highspeed train line and deep water ditch not properly fenced off, right at the back of the very extensive site. Vans are packed in too tightly together although we were alone in the dog field. All the other dog owners were parked with permission in the main non dogs fields. Hard standing is enough space for the van but not the awning or car. In poor weather conditions it turns into a mud bath and we watched quite a number of people having to be towed off by tractor! never again will I visit such a poor over priced substandard site!

We haven't visited this site for many years but recently booked in advance for a one night stay en route to the Glastonbury carnival.
The booking process was smooth enough, the price reasonable and on arrival (at dusk) dealt with friendly staff who gave us some information about the site and told us to take our pick of vacant pitches in the hard standing area pointed out to us on the site map which had such tiny print I couldn't read it even with hubby's very strong reading glasses.
The hardstandings were only just big enough to accommodate our 7. 5m motorhome and were quite close together. We chose a pitch near a water supply so that we could use a hosepipe to fill our onboard water tank and this is when we hit problem one, the taps have no means of connecting a hosepipe (even though we carry a wide range of connectors) and were of the push button variety. No problem I thought, we'd go to reception and ask where we can find a tap that you can connect a hosepipe to, 'sorry we can't let you do that for health and safety reasons' was the response (ok for most other sites?), but we'll have no water I said, 'sorry ' was the response. We spent the next half an hour in the cold and dark trying to partly fill our water tank using 5litre bottles. On our way out of the site we noticed a water standpipe with hose connector right next to reception!
Not having enough water to use our own facilities I went off to the shower block, this was clean and spacious but quite chilly. The showers weren't intuitive to use (there is a small sensor that needs to be pushed but with no instructions) and were barely warm.
EHU was a bit pointless as there is a long list of things you aren't allowed to use (domestic appliances, heaters of any kind, microwaves etc) and a very short list of things you can use - low wattage kettle and low wattage hairdryers
We popped into the clubhouse for a drink, not too expensive, included entertainment (and bingo) but not really our cup of tea so just stayed for one drink.
The site isn't very well lit and is next to a busy road and railway line so traffic noise is very noticeable.
The lady in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful (reception manager please note!)
I won't visit again, I find it incredible that a site as large and well established as this can't provide a basic facility for the growing motorhome community

This is my second review for this site but this time we had a much larger caravan and dogs with us so I thought it would be worth adding some more comments:
We love most aspects of this site. It is so easy to get to (just off the M5), there are loads of places to visit within a 1 hour drive and the facilities are generally very good. Staff are friendly and personally I think the prices for food and drink in the bar are reasonable (£3 a pint and we had a meal for 4 with plenty of food for £20). The entertainment is also much better than some of the stuff I have experienced on sites in the past.
A couple of issues this time though 1) as we had pets we were put in the 'Orange' section but were not told that the pitch was for caravans under 21 feet when I blatantly told them our caravan was larger than this - we had enough room but only just 2) the lighting in the area we stayed and particularly the dog walk was poor - not something I would say should put you off staying here but certainly something to bear in mind.
Overall though, an excellent site, well worth a visit and we are planning going back again next year.

A good site but I would avoid in high season. Touring plots are crammed close together and it feels too enclosed. Noisy neighbours just a few feet from our van having a party way after midnight into the early hours. Showers dirty with cob webs in some cubicles and poor water flow. I would return but only in low season and because of price. Nice easy location just off junction 22 of the M5 and lots to do in the area.

Spent May Day weekend at Home Farm, weather was fantastic site was quite good but with a few bad points. We were on the orange hard standing field as we had a dog with us, this area of the site has a railway on one side and a main road on the other so some noise is guaranteed but not enough to be unpleasant. At night time the whole site is very dark with very little lighting anywhere, when we arrived at 10pm on the Friday night I had to use car headlights to enable me to see our hard standing. On the main site the units were very close together it was caravan, awning, car, caravan and so on with no space in between, I felt very nervous driving through this area as kids just come flying out from in between caravans so be very careful. The staff that we came across were very pleasant and polite and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. The club area was great so was the entertainment and food, I personally thought the drinks were a little expensive we paid £3. 60 for a pint of Guinness, far more than my local but then again you are getting entertainment. My wife complained to me that the Ladies toilets smelt very bad, but I can't comment on that so I just took her word for it, but I did notice that the flush water in the site toilets was a yellow colour (not sure what that was about) but the toilets were very clean so were the showers. The site has a great dog walk around the perimeter of the site and a crossing over the railway to a footpath that leads into Burnham on Sea (about 1/2 hour walk). The swimming pool area although not open looked fantastic and also very clean. And although we had no children with us the play area also looked great. We booked a late departure up until 6pm for the day we were leaving at a bargain price of only £3. 00 great value but not sure if its that price all year. The on site shop was a disappointment, it's quite big but was poorly stocked for food, perhaps it was because it was not main season. All in all a very enjoyable weekend. We will definitely be making another visit sometime in the future.

Site location and facilities were great, the shower/toilet block was heated which was a huge plus. Though I didn't use the pools having an indoor and outdoor pool was a huge plus. Grocery shopping was close with a new Tesco store just a mile away and Asda very close. Though sadly there were people on site that spoilt it causing night time noise and nuisance. Apart from that I would highly recommend the site.

Just back from weekend at Home Farm Holiday Park with some good points and some bad.
Lovely clean site with very friendly staff and all at a very good price. Club house was very clean and the show we saw on the sat night was good fun. Take a way food was very nice and good price.
Some bad points to watch out for:
Hardstandings are very close together. My car was only about 2 feet away from my neighbours awning, luckily we had no-one next to us so our view wasn't too bad (caravan was right on the edge of the hard standing and my car as close to the caravan as possible).
Most of the showers didn't work on first night, only had cold water dribbling out. Found one that was ok and just stuck to that one for the rest of the weekend.
Says the green hard standing area is no pets, but I think we were the only van wothout pets. Have double checked that it wasn't me that parked wrong but it wasn't. I didn't have a prob with this but someone may if specifically booked for no pet area.
Hard standings weren't very flat, needed to use levellers to keep the van flat. Think the grass pitches were far flatter. Thought this was the idea of paying more for a hard standing?
Once booked in we were told to just find a pitch, this was ok for us but had fun watching one caravan owner setting up their caravan facing the opposite direction to everyone else in their row and then putting their awning up on their neighbours grassed area, would be fun watching them get asked to take it all down again and re-position but unfortunately we had to leave
Very good location, 1 mile from M5 so saved 20 mins of going to our normal site in Brean Sands.
Definitely go back but be aware of the above and book a cheaper grass only pitch.

We holidayed in July and had a great time. The site was very clean & tidy, toilets & showers where immaculately clean. Also the bar & restaurant was not highly priced. The site had large flower baskets that were all in bloom & looked beautiful. The staff are very helpful & nice. Would recommend this site to families - play area & swimming pools for children & adults. Both are heated & if the husband likes fishing there's a fishing lake!
