 Clean facilities, very friendly staff and great electric pitches.
Only problem though it is near a fairly busy road which was between the campsite and the sea.
They also put us (medium sized tent) into the middle of a site full of RVs, they should separate the tents and vehicles out, it felt more like staying in a car park than a camping site!

Great location if you enjoy coastal walking and wild life,
The beaches are also dog friendly.
For the size of the site we found it quiet and although the facilities are a little dated were adequate and clean.
Beadnell village has a shop and a good pub with great food as does Seahouses just up the coast.
Would definitely visit again.

Been going for years but poss no longer.
6 meter rule does not take into consideration distance in front as you may have to ask the people in front to move car to allow you to hook up.
10 toilets, 5 staff 1 hour 15 minute to clean.
Grass cutting every day even when wet. Does more than 5 mph. And nearly ran my chairs and electric cable over.
Only shop is off site.
Not all dog owners pick up poo. However no poo bins any longer available on site.
The good side, lovely places to visit and great beaches.

So in bullet points
* Very exposed to the elements
* Very unfriendly welcome upon arrival
* Unsightly warden's enclosure right at the front entrance to the site - looks like a gypsy camp!
* Toilet and shower block very dated, old fashioned and shower drain water runs the wrong way!
* Ridiculous closure of ALL toilet and shower facilities at 10. 45am until 12 noon every day for cleaning
* Staff very officious. Fun police, mood hoovers, followed our kids around.
* Not allowed to pitch our gazebo even although the space we had was massive
* Staff members standing at toilet block doors like bouncers ensuring everyone was wearing a face covering
* Overflow car park insecure and right next to the main road. Only one car per pitch - OR ELSE!
* Great site for pensioners, should be a SAGA resort as opposed to a C&C Club.
* If you happen to be located at the back of the site, plan your toilet trips in advance - the only facilities block is miles away.
Would we go back - NO. Staff are very rules and regulations orientated - pouncing on everything they can with no perception on the experience they are destroying. All of our kids absolutely hated it - worst site we had ever been to in their opinion!

We hadn’t been to Northumberland before and this is a great location for a site, right opposite beach which we wandered onto after arrival, however we then walked the 15 mins or so to Beadnell Harbour and, wow! What a spot with a beautiful arc of golden sands stretching into the distance!
No too much in Beadnell, shop, couple of cafes and pubs but all very nice.
Do try the fish and chip van which parks by the shop every Fri to Sun-excellent food!
Easy walk into Seahouses (about 40 mins) but easy cycle ride along roadside cycle path/footpath. Trips to the Farne islands leave from here.
We took the van offsite to Lindisfarne, about 40 mins and parking there was easy but do check tidetimes!
Also cycled to Bambergh (approx 40 mins) and walked coast path to Dunstanborough castle and Craster-incredible beaches all the way!
All in all a great site to cover the coastal part of Northumberland and see bird and sea life with numerous spots to see seals and a variety of seabirds.
Only suggestion would be that they do not appear to put tents in the lower field and when the W/e arrived and there were more families this may be better for couples as pitches are not marked and a lot of children running around made it not only noisier but less relaxing!

Lovely location, nice and quiet, great for touring. On-site staff every helpful.
Not much for children to do.
No on-site shop.

A large windswept site on the Northumberland coast, directly across the road from the sea. It’s a 5-minute walk along the clifftop path to Beadnell village, with its small harbour, beach, café, grocery store and pubs. A fish & chip van parks in Beadnell on Fridays (recommended). Seahouses (3 miles south) has more shops and offers boat trips round the off-shore Farne Islands to see the puffins (at the right time of year) and the seals.
Bamburgh castle and Lindisfarne (to the north) and the ruins of Dunstanburgh castle (to the south) are within reach for a drive or a good bike ride. For cyclists, note that the Club website claims: “both the Coast & castles and National Cycle Routes pass the entrance to the campsite”. In fact the ‘Coast & castles’ route is simply the local section of National Cycle Route 1 (North Sea), which does NOT pass the campsite entrance. NCR 1 can only be joined at Seahouses (northbound) or beyond Chathill (southbound), after riding a few miles of busy road (B1340).
The site facilities were closed (Covid), resulting in an undignified queue every morning for the single and inadequate toilet emptying point, sited in a small hut. One of the wardens explained that planning permission for a second facility block was being delayed by local opposition but that doesn’t excuse the state of the current emptying point, the worst I’ve seen on any Club site. Crouching in the 5-foot-high entrance, the weak low-pressure flush only rinsed half the bowl, there was nowhere to put the cassette screw top while emptying, the short hose for rinsing out cassettes leaked and there was no hand-wash basin, just some gel. Surely planning permission isn’t needed to improve or replace this essential facility?
The free WiFi throughout the campsite worked well and now seems to be standard on Club sites (much appreciated).

Beautiful view and very relaxing.
Due to the current pandemic we weren't allowed to use the showers etc so I am unable to comment on these, but this didn't bother us as we were in a camper.
We will definitely be returning to this site.

This is the second time we have been to this site. It will probably be our last. The so called sea view is none existing, unless you stand on the roof of your van.
The welcome from the wardens was not exactly friendly. No hello or welcoming words. The first words being " may I remind you the speed limit is 5 miles an hour" we had only literally arrived in site.
We then had to do 10 miles an hour following the warden to the pitch. Asked to be quite at 10pm, even though we were only talking to each other in the awning. The noise in the morning was unbelievable. From 07:00 thumping and banging going on, motor homes driving around, sitting outside with engines running, just to drive 100m to a service point. Grass cutting commenced every day at 08:00. Never has so much grass, has been so cut.
All the facilities closed, but from last year they are in desperate need of updating. Poor value for money, but this is down to the Caravan and Camping Club. Credit to the wardens through for their cleaning routines of the water points.
The beaches are superb, as is the Craster Arms pub. Plenty of things to do in the area, from shopping to castles, we had Warkworth to ourselves, so plenty of information from the guide.
Thursday was very quiet in the village and on site due to the local lock down coming into force on the Friday.
