Wonderful break away, 5 minutes drive to the beach and local shops.
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for a short break.
All the facilities were fantastic, clean, friendly and quiet.
We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location, close to some lovely beaches - lovely little bar/ice-cream shop near Borth-Y-Gest which was within walking distance. Harlech close by which we visited twice and Portmeirion a short drive away.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful - we booked as 2 separate parties (at different times) and were allocated pitches close to each other but on arrival, were delighted to see that we had been allocated pitches next to each other which was a pleasant surprise - excellent customer service!
The downsides for us were paying for the showers (though these were always clean) - mainly because trying to get 50p pieces was tricky after reception closed or when we had no cash on us (a change machine in the shower area would be preferable)
The pitch we had was adequate - water on the pitch was a bonus - but we felt very close to our neighbours so it was a little claustrophobic for us and noisy at times; feeling like there were so many people in a small area of the site.
That said, the location made it for us and whilst we may not travel back to this site, we will certainly visit the area again.

Love this site - our favourite so far!
Excellent flat serviced pitches, hard standing for van and awning and enough grass for windbreaks for our 'garden'.
People moan about no bins around the site but we found it easy to take the rubbish with us to the compactor when we ventured out each day - would prefer this to rubbish all around the site. Only thing I would say on that is there should be dog waste bins dotted around the site.
50p showers seem very antiquated but its your choice whether you use them or not. It's not a surprise when you arrive as it is stated on their website.
No dogs in the bar is ok with us - they're looking for another chef so probably don't want to set a precedent by allowing dogs now to have to refuse them later in the season or next year.
Travelling with teenagers is always a guessing game and I was a little concerned that they would be bored, however, as we tend to go out every day and they could go to play pool from 5 in the bar I didn't have any 'I'm bored' moments at all.
Location is fantastic, beaches and Porthmadog very accessible and many things to do with teenagers within half an hour - Glasfryn and Zip World amongst others.
My views may be biased as I love this part of Wales but having been to Greenacres (Haven) every Easter for over 20 years I wouldn't rush back there even with all the entertainment on offer. Touring for us is about spending time with family and enjoying activities together - we find Haven segregates us as the 'kids' are always off on their own.
Can't wait to go back!

Lovely well kept site in a fantastic location, staff couldn’t be more helpful.
Shame there wasn’t a indoor section in the pub for dogs as a lot of people on the bar patio said the same,
Will definitely be going back very soon,

This is difficult to score but it has to lose a few stars for the 3 really simple things which we found wrong with the site. First things first, in terms of location and aesthetics the site is fantastic and you cannot ask for more from the facilities on site or from the friendliness of the staff. The wifi was excellent at 64megs.
However 3 things really let the site down which I think have all been mentioned before.
1. The lack of bins other than those which you realistically have to drive to
2. 50p for a 10-second-push-button shower cannot make anywhere near the amount of money to counter how irritating it is
3. The dog policy in the bar when out of season and NOT a restaurant.
I fully understand why you may not want the big green roller bins around the pretty site but there has to be a compromise given you have staff rolling around on golf buggies all day. Smaller bins to help keep the site tidy and not being attacked by Gulls is surely an easy win given people are complaining.
50p is pointless and just an unneccessary aggravation given they are push-button anyway.
Being banished to the cold and rain being told you cant have your Jack Russell in the empty bar because "its a restaurant" when clearly, the restaurant was closed was really unnecessary. Like the beaches of course in peak season when its busy its sensible policy but perhaps off-peak consideration should be given to allocating an area in the vast space (in the area with the pool table for example) allowing dogs given off-peak its not really sitting outside weather. At least have the music outside otherwise it really is just being banished!
