This is a very nice site, although it's not actually in Dartmouth but you can get there with a reliable, if not very frequent, bus service with a stop directly outside the gate. It is actually in Stoke Fleming, a pretty village with a good pub and a well stocked village shop. A walk from the site takes you to the beautiful beach of Blackpool Sands, and there are many walks further afield along the Coast Path, or from Kingswear the other side of the Dart Estuary. The site is nicely laid out with the excellent facilities one expects from the Camping & Caravanning Club. Sadly the pub outside the site gate is no longer operative, and looks as though it has been derelict for some time. But The Green Dragon in the village is only a 10- or so minute walk away.

This was our first opportunity to try our new tunnel tent out, we were offered an overflow field with electric hook up, which proved, to be over the 3 nights we spent there extremely relaxing.
The main camping, for caravans, motorhomes and tents was extremely busy but where we had our tent the extra space was a bonus. The site is very well maintained, clean and a joy to be on, the toilet block, although only the one block seemed to be adequate for everyone. The showers are regulated well and a good shower can be had, the toilet block were cleaned on a daily basis, and to a high standard.
A chip van visited the site, within the time I was there, I would give this club site 10 out of 10.

Visited Dartmouth C&C in conjunction with Families Weekend for my daughter on course in the Navy at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. We found in a lovely site, excellent facilities and kept very clean. Great walks along the coast and easy to get into Dartmouth. Will go again very soon. Thoroughly recommended and hepled with contacts when we had electric problems,

Visited the site last year to 'check it out' as our favourite and the most convenient, Little Cotton has now been sold for housing development.
It's further out of Dartmouth, takes about 40 minutes to walk down the hill to Warfleet and on in to Dartmouth so we booked with some apprehension - but we needn't have been concerned at all.
Typically, this is a well run, spotlessly clean site which, as you can imagine, was rather full as it was August and the reason for our long weekend, Regatta week!
Excellent meet n greet, great team of wardens who escorted us to our large pitch which was perfectly adequate for the complete Karsten set-up. Short cut to the shower block which was immaculate, clean and never busy. 5 minutes walk in to Stoke Fleming and there is a bus stop outside of the site within 50 meters which is brilliant! Services to both Dartmouth and Plymouth (several hours apparently) hourly!
We highly recommend the Kings Arms in Strete which served excellent food and of course, Slapton Sands (dogs allowed all year) and Blackpool Sands (no dogs permitted). We enjoyed the stroll down hill in to Dartmouth, had our fun then popped back on the last bus at 1815, back to the site.
Definitely be back next year for Regatta week!

We have just returned from a fantastic break at CCCC Dartmouth, this is a well run sight with clean facilities and play area for the little ones, great friendly team who are only too happy to help.
There is plenty to do in and around the local area for instance, Buckfastleigh Otter and Butterfly which is a treat for animal lovers & children with the Devon valley steam railway next door. Paignton with it's shops, pier and beach is a good day out for all. Eating out may be a problem as there isn't much to choose from. We found the Queens Arms in Slapton a great place for good honest food at very reasonable prices and a very warm welcome (get in each as it is popular). Beaches for the little ones include Blackpool sands which you have to pay for parking but it's clean and safe and further along the coast road you have Slapton sands with the ww2 memorial to the service men who died in preperation for D day. Plenty of of boat trips and steam railway journeys to be had.

This is a lovely well kept site with sea views. It is on the outskirts of the village of Stoke Flemming which has a convenience store and a pub that does food. Dartmouth is only a 5 min drive away.
The hard standing pitches are level and well spaced out, some have trees around them. The facilities are spotlessly clean and there was always hot water for a shower. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is a new play area for kids.
There are a number of cruises to be had in Dartmouth there should be something for all tastes, we went on the paddle steamer river cruise which was wonderful. This is the only coal powered paddle steamer in operation in the UK.
Other places to visit are Brixham, Slapton Sands and Torcross where the Sherman tank monument sits that remembers the lives lost during the tragic events of the 'D' day training exercise.
There is a Lidl and a Sainsburys a short distance away.

Very pleasant stay, friendly, helpful, site well kept clean etc.
Good access local bus service stop outside camp for Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, onward connections to Paignton, Brixham, etc, and to local village and beach, although within easy walking distance. Excellent pub, restaurant and hotel and local store. Larger supermarkets not far. Check with site staff. Excellent for walking and restricted cycling due to hills unless enthusiast.

This is a pretty little site and what you would expect from a Camping and Caravanning Club site. As usual the Wardens are friendly, helpful and enthusiastic, they maintain the facilities and grounds very well.
The site is on top of an hill, therefore can be draughty. You can see the sea, but don't expect to sit and watch the boats go by. The village of Stoke Fleming is an easy walk with pubs etc. We didn't visit them so have no first hand knowledge.
There is no dedicated dog walk, but grass verges by the entrance and across the road are OK. If you go to the overflow car park of the Park and Ride, which you pass on the way in, you will find a nice walk next door.

We have just returned from a lovely 4 day stay at the Dartmouth site and if we lived closer, would return tomorrow. ! A fantastic site, we were extremely impressed with all aspects. The facilities were spotless from the toilet/shower block to the grounds which were regularly maintained and this is a massive positive for this campsite. We arrived on a bank holiday Monday and even though it was busy, we were still offered a choice of pitches for our tent but the site didn't feel overcrowded. The staff were helpful and very accommodating to our request to move pitches on day 2 to a higher position so we had a lovely sea view. We had initially been in a secluded pitch near the road which some may find less quiet than other pitches so may not be best suited to tents.
The site is within easy reach of Dartmouth harbour and castle and if you like walking, only takes around 20 minutes to get to the harbour and around 30 to the castle, both are stunning. The nearest beach is Blackpool Sands which again is a walk of around 25 minutes through the village of Stoke Fleming and giving excellent views of the Sands on approach. Both walks highly recommended. And there's a lovely pub in Stoke Fleming village en route if you need a rest half way. !
All in all, this is an excellent campsite, we loved waking up to the sea views and were grateful to the very respectful fellow campers and staff helping to keep the facilities so clean and tidy and of course the location was superb. We also sampled the lovely fish and chips from the visiting van which were excellent and well priced. The times of which are advertised at the campsite entrance and is there a few days in the week.
This was one of our favourite campsites for its facilities, stunning views and location to beautiful Dartmouth. We're already plotting a return visit.

We've just come home after spending a lovely Easter break here. The wardens were incredibly helpful and friendly. The site was in a beautiful location, a couple of miles walk from Dartmouth and overlooking the sea! Pitches were flat and well maintained. The shower block is absolutely spotless, looks very new with endless hot water. A local pub in a village 10 mins walk down the road serves fantastic food. Highly recommended.
