 Lovely clean site. Friendly staff, warm and welcoming.
Easy access off main road.
Quiet at night, once tent campers gone to bed.
Small site, but more than adequate for a stop over, or short break.

Really nice campsite, went for the weekend in September so very quiet.
Facilities (toilets, water points, showers, cafe, playground, little pond) really cute and well kept but the toilets are AGES away from the tents which is an absolute nightmare with young kids. Other than that was very happy.
Only thing is an enclosure around the playground would have been brilliant for peace of mind in busier times as the road runs right next to it - wasn't a problem for me as was so quiet when we went.
Twinned with a butlins type place a 10 minute drive which has a great pool and entertainment for kids that's all free with your booking at st marys.
Less than a 10 min drive to loads of walks, beach, pubs, playgrounds etc

Site handy for Prestatyn, ryl and Talacre. Rates not too bad.
Toilets and showers need a total refurb. Not cleaned daily as stated on notice.
Flat grass pitches.

Nice site with plenty of room between grass pitches with great little cafe and pub across the road.
The toilet, shower block and drains could do with an overhaul.
Would be even more likely to return if it had some hard standings/ all service pitches!

On arrival the girl in the office was very pleasant and helpful as I needed information on how to get to another caravan park on foot to meet friends, I'm sorry I don't know their names,
The allocated pitch was ok a little un level but in a good position,
The cafe area was very clean and bright, they did serve breakfast and evening meals but we didn't eat there,
The toilet black was cleaned each day and was ok, wash up area was very good,
We had a very pleasant stay and if we were in the area again we would definitely stay there.

Found the site Clean and all facilities working
Gents showers where clean and good pressure,
My wife found the shower pressure on the weak side? The couple running the site where very helpful,
The location was ok there’s a couple of pubs within walking distance and the beach is about a 20min walk away.
A good site and would use again.

The site is fabulous, very clean, friendly and peaceful campsite, big pitches with lots of space for children and our dog to play.
Perfect for families with children, small site so didn’t need to worry about children getting lost etc and they loved the play ground.
Lots to do for families in the surrounding area also.
Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!
We only stayed two days and already booking a week there!

Fab little site and close by to the beach, supermarkets and pubs.
Very well maintained and the toilets/shower blocks were clean.

I thought the price was expensive for minimal services. The waste water drainage is not marked on the site map, so had to ask the location. It is next to children's play area and not under cover.
Their as a ramp which is a bonus, but appears to drain slowly, so overflows. Probably could do with regular rodding and a cover built over it. The chemical waste are could also do with a covered area over it and regular cleaning/sanitation.
The shower and toilet block is adequate, but only cleaned once a day, and not particularly well. It doesn't smell clean and looks grimy.
There are a lot of ill kept seasonal pitches and these detract from the overall look of the site. It was mowed every day we were there, which wasn't necessary, and probably should have spent more time on the sanitisation, considering the current pandemic.
It's a shame because I think this could be a much better site, without too much more doing. It just needs to up its game for the cost.
It was handy for local walks on the beach/dunes or even hills across the road from the site, and convenient for Prestatyn.
Can't fault the welcome and friendliness of staff. Checking in was easy. Good idea to have a bipper for the shower block.

Absolutely fantastic campsite toilets and showers very clean. Hand gels scattered round very covid safe.
Will be going back to visit very soon. Will be bringing my grandaughter as she will love the big field and the playground that's available
