We had a great weekend here in the sun! The pitches are large with lots of space for awnings etc, you don't feel cramped at all.
Brilliant time here, lovely staff- they really were very helpful and welcoming to us!
Would definitely recommend and will be back again, hopefully some time this year! Thanks!

Firstly, the staff are lovely people and very helpful.
The showers could have been warmer and the water pressure in the washing up room left a lot to be desired. These were the only problems with the site itself. A lovely location and very clean.
We stayed for 8 nights, starting the Friday of the bank holiday weekend. The number of people allowed on site was ludicrous! We had an electric hook up pitch but had to turn our tend sideways as there was no room to pitch it facing out because the other tents were so close. Once the bank holiday was over the site became a much nicer place to be

Cracking stay with the family. All facilities were in excellent condition and very clean and couldn't have wanted anything else. Nice touch were the mobile shops that came round.
The site rules ensured that there was no unacceptable behaviour on the site. The Owners were very hospitable and we will return.

I just want to thank David, Emma and their family for a great two weeks' holiday spent at Kennexstone. From the moment we arrived we were treated as valued visitors and nothing was too much trouble. The site rules are no more than is needed to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves, the site is well-run, the facilities all clean and well cared-for.
When we discovered we needed to change batteries on some lights but didn't have the right screwdriver with us, they lent us a set. The setting is beautiful and within easy reach of the many beaches in Gower. It is also within easy driving distance of Brecon Beacons with its National Caves and waterfalls.
Added bonus in the butchers wagon which came round with fresh meat, the veg van and the icecream man who called every evening, although standing queuing for icecream in the unseasonably cold winds made me wonder about my thought processes.
It is good that a new access is going to be built next year to replace the rather uneven surface which they have now.
The only suggestions I would make to improve the site is for more showers as there are not enough when the site gets really busy and a small clubhouse for older children and teenagers to hang out as my grandson would have liked a way of meeting up with people his own age.

Lovely site! Stayed here for 3 nights. Facilities were clean and the shop well stocked. Staff were super friendly. There's no facilities for kids and only one set of toilets and showers but no pitch is very far from either. The wash room is indoors which is nice.
People are allowed to pitch in the middle of each field which could get awkward when it's really busy driving cars across the field past peoples tents and where kids might be playing.
A local butcher comes by each morning with fresh and near frozen meat for sale - great for sticking in the coolbox ready for cooking the same evening. We also saw a fresh fruit/veg van come around. This is a really nice idea if you happen to be around. The shop sells some of the same meat - sausages, bacon etc. And the prices are good.

Excellent site with good clean facilities, with one great pub 20 minutes walk away and another 30 minutes away. The area is some of the best coastal walking we have done in a while with nice villages and beaches all the way. The site was busy when we arrived but noise levels and spacing was fine throughout the weekend

Wow is the first word to start this review. The site is in the heart of the Gower and is one of the best kept secrets in Britain. On arrival the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. We had a large pitch with our motorhome and awning. We then went to view the toilets which were immaculate and that is the benchmark for a good site. We were lucky that the weather was absolutely glorious. The on site shop was well stocked. I personally witnessed the owner of the site refuse entry to a bunch of boys, therefore in this site the money doesn't come first, reputation is more important. Fabulous field to exercise your dog. Very dog and child friendly. Everyone was friendly on the site. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful weekend.

Our family really enjoyed our week's stay at Kennexstone. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, toilets and showers were amazingly clean. Showers were at no extra cost and hot. As we don't have electric hook up, we could choose our pitch, and we had plenty of room and a good flat pitch. Wonderful views of the surrounding hills.
The site was busier over the Bank Holiday weekend, but not overcrowded. We used the little shop at the site for milk, bread and a kite! Otherwise we made sure we passed the excellent supermarket in Penclawdd (about 15 mins drive away)on our way home from days out.
The site is about 10 mins drive from Rhossili Bay, with its wonderful sandy beaches and fantastic surf. The beaches are not lifeguarded. We also enjoyed the waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons, about 30 mins drive away. Swansea 45 mins drive - shops, cinema, waterpark for rainy days. But we only had one of them!
A lovely peaceful site, ideal for families, although there is not a play area - just plenty of space to run about in! We will definitely return.

Fantastic site, lovely and quiet.
The pitch sizes for electric hock up are very generous, space for caravan, car and space to sit out and for the children to play. Toilets are always kept clean, and from all the park, seems to be pretty close for those staying in tents.
Staff are friendly and always happy to help.
We must have come down on a quiet week because as the weekend came the park got very full but still seemed spacious for electric hook up areas.
The only down side was when it did become busier, the tents are allowed to pitch up in the areas in the middle which means it becomes a slight free for all and you can become hemmed in, We were leaving the next day and it was a bit of a struggle to manoeuvre the caravan and car around the tents and they're seating areas.
Plus as it does get busier the children's playing are does get less even though there is a playing area else where on the site I felt it was a little to far for my young son to go off on his own to go play.
I have no fault with the site and will be returning next year, its a lovely site and value for money.
The whole Gower area is amazing infarct, Beautiful beaches, moorland, walking is great and there are some fantastic little country pubs, the brittania is in walking distance but it is down a steep hill and the return walk is quite hard work, but the pub is lovely, food a little pricey but nice to sit outside the back, where there is a little play area for the kids and there are animals to look at and great views over the river.
The Greyhouds is also very nice, I personally wouldn't rate the food but to sit outside for a drink and a snack it is perfect especially if you have kids.
All in all a great site in a wonderful area, but there isn't all that much to do if it rains the hole time.
We were very lucky with the weather, if the weather is bad just remember to pack plenty of board games.

Fantastic site. Camper and Caravan friendly, clean, staff were helpful and wardens were discreet.
Really enjoyed our two night stay, even getting there as late as 10pm on the Friday didn't dampen our weekend, if anything putting a tent up in the dark is shall we say character building.
Two families, 4 adults and 4 children, would definitely recommend this camp site for location and relaxation. Loved it.
