A large site, with 3 main areas. A smaller caravan field which appeared to have vans that had annual pitches, a second larger field with mainly caravans and a third huge field with a few electrical hook-up points (<10) for tents.
All pitches were level and on a busy weekend in June we were all able to pitch around the edge of the field leaving huge areas for kids (and adults) to play football, cricket, tennis etc.
Shop well stocked with just about everything you could need. All showers and toilets were spotless and plenty of them in a modern block.
Coupled with the beautiful area of the Gower, I would highly recommend this site - I'm sure we'll be back.
A few large groups of people in numerous tents were there at the same time as us but the camping field so large there was no issue with noise as we were all nicely spread out.
Finally, the owners were more than willing for us to leave our trailers in a spot opposite reception after we'd packed away on the Sunday morning so that we could enjoy another day on the beach and they could keep an eye on them.

Just come back from this site, spent a weekend there. It was brill! The people who own the site was really friendly and helpful. We turned up early but this wasn't a problem, we were shown where our pitch was and the heavens opened!
The little shop had everything you could need from buckets and spades, spare airbeds and pasta shapes just in case you forgot you tea, as I did. Also had a wide range of Harbio sweets for those 'munchie' moments.
The facilites were spotless at all times, showers were nice and hot and free. The cubicles were large enough for adult and child and had a little bench to put your stuff on ( beware the water is a bit powerful and your stuff may get a bit wet).
No playground for the kids, but they didn't need it. The tents were pitched around the edges of the field, so plenty of room in the middle to play. Not many electric hook ups, so book early if going.
Really close to the near by beaches, on the Saturday we spent the day at Oxwich Bay, which was lovely if you have children, like us. Really safe and clean beach where you could park really close to the beach, and had toilets and a little shop which sold tea's and coffee's.
Would definitely return, hopefully in 2 weeks time, as the site was Fab.

Spent last weekend at this site, great reception lovely site, level pitch.
Showers/toilets spotless, shower water hot, water shoots quite far out as the shower head is high up so watch your clothes on the bench my pants got wet(oops).
Shop seemed well stocked.
Free ice pack service - freezer in the dishwashing area which was also very good.
Area is lovely didn't venture far as weather so bad, our pitch was not very sheltered so quite windy but thats down to great old british weather. Would love to go again soon.

Have main holiday booked here later in year, took a quick visit last weekend to try the site, had a fantastic weekend, very impressed with the whole site, owners were very helpful & facilities showers etc were modern and well kept. As in other reviews a great reception & shop. The site itself is nice and quiet plenty of room for the kids to play, they did not even question the lack of a play area, as there was so much to explore. Very near some of the best beaches in the UK.
We will have plenty more visits here.

This is an excellent site, with very friendly staff, very good toilet and shower facilities (always hot), plenty of space and a shop providing essentials.
It is not far from Llangennith beach which is very good for surfing. There are pubs serving good food within driving distance. We also took a short drive to Three Cliffs Bay - beautiful.
We would have returned within the month, if it hadn't been booked up for the second bank holiday. We would strongly recommend it.

We thought this was a lovely site. Basic (no playground) but plenty of space for our 3 children to play, and ample provision of toilets & showers in a clean modern block. Quiet, surrounded by fields, but within a short drive of several beaches - we tried a different one every day! It was quiet during the week but filled up dramatically on Friday evening - no noise that disturbed us however.
In particular the campsite staff were very friendly and helpful and the well-stocked reception was open early till late.

This is a brilliant site for peace and quite and wonderful surrounding countryside. It is perfect for long walks or a trip to the beach. The local pub serves excellent food and everyone is friendly and helpful. The site itself is has good toilets and showers which are kept spotless. The shop sells everything you could need, with frezer pack facility which is very handy. We shall be going back next year many times even the dogs enjoyed themselves with a very large common just outside the door to explore.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and a shop that sells everything you need with a frezer pack facility. What a brilliant site! On arrival we went to reception where the staff were really chatty and helpful. After a speedy check in we were shown our pitch - it was flat and of a good size. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and there was plenty of hot water. All the basics can be bought from the shop which is in reception. We will definitely be going back!

What a fantastic site. The owners and staff are absolutely superb. The showers and toilets are very clean, the shop is extremely useful and the general atmosphere is great. The lack of a children's playground is understandable, as liability for such facilities is a subject of its own. However, my two kids know how to have fun with their own toy's, a great big field and a lot of fresh air, not to mention the great friends they have made with other kids on the site. Absolutely the place to stay on the Gower. Have a great time. We do.
