We have used Orchard Park for many years. It is a special place for us.
It is peaceful apart from the constant birdsong! Ian keeps it in immaculate condition and is always ready to have a chat.
It is well situated both for easy access to Reeth and to the beautiful scenery of upper Swaledale.
A gem, thank you.

A wonderful site with friendly, knowledgeable owners who were very welcoming.
It is within easy walking distance to the beautiful village of Reeth and offers some more lovely walks around the area.
Very dog friendly site with great pitches too.
We will be back…

We had a lovely night staying here. Friendly welcome and a choice of pitches.
We were greeted as we arrived and given loads of really useful information about the site, its facilities and the local pubs etc, best route into the village and advice about taking a torch; it is really dark at night, not many street lights.
Nice and quiet, facilities are clean, not the most modern but perfectly serviceble. 20ps needed for the showers.
Pitches of good size.
Not an ideal site for young families, but suited us perfectly. We'd happily stay here again and use it as a base for exploring the local area.

Fantastic quiet campsite. Owners were welcoming and friendly. Quickly and efficiently explained the layout and amenities and explained they were on hand if needed.
Campsite is in a beautiful location and a very short walk into Reeth centre. We plan to come back next year for slightly longer so we can take advantage of the walks in the local area.
Maybe you could put some hooks on the back of the toilet and shower doors. Somewhere to hang wet coats etc while using the facilities, otherwise we had a brilliant camping trip.

A well managed and handy site close to the village centre. Ian was was very helpful on arrival -
The facilities are immaculate and we had 2 very quiet and peaceful nights on lovely lush grass with EHU.
It is a great spot for looking at the stars - the Milky Way was showing very well.
Will definitely be back.
Also great walks from the site too!

Absolutely love this Campsite. We had a lovely welcome and the pitch was perfect plenty of room.
The campsite was quiet but I guess that depends on the type of guests that are visiting at the time.
Great facilities: good recycling, clean toilets, good showers and I like the idea of paying 20p per shower five minutes is ample and it serves people wasting water.
Pot washing area is basic but clean.
Would definitely recommend and we look forward to going back another time.
Shame there are no fire pits allowed but that might be due to it being a conservation area perhaps?

I have been staying at this site for over 30 years and keep going back for more!
Orchard camping site is in a great location if you are a walker or cyclist as it’s surrounded by wonderful countryside with a choice of lower level riverside and valley walks or higher level hikes on to the hills such as Fremington Edge for the more adventurous.
There are a few touring caravan and campervan pitches, as well as quite a few static caravans here which the owners will let out to tent campers if they want a dry and more comfortable night if they are on the Coast to Coast long distance route.
The facilities and customer service continues to improve since the current owners took over a few years ago and they are always there to sort out any problems with a friendly and professional attitude without being intrusive so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful area.
There are three pubs who serve good food and two or three cafes as well as a post office & general store within 5 minutes walk of the site as well as a fish and chip mobile van that parks up in the village on Friday evenings.
I am impressed that the owners hadn’t massively hiked their charges for electric hook up when I visited recently (unlike other camping/caravanning clubs and other independent sites!) - they charge a very fair price for a great service - so highly recommended.
