We stayed here one night while touring the NC500. Found the pitches were very tight together, and our pitch had to be beside the opening down to the rocky beach which wasn’t ideal having people going through our pitch! Then the family from hell arrived next to us like 2 foot away so we were in for a horrendous evening!
Toilets were clean and tidy, following Covid rules. Ullapool just a short drive away.
But I would not recommend this site due to the pitch sizes being so cramped together!

Great location right on the edge of pebble beach. Friendly staff and a well stocked shop in reception area.
Wifi not great, couldn't get connected most of the time.
The only issue is the wild campers that park outside the front gate and can be a bit noisy and also tend to sneak in and use the campsite facilities.

Fantastic location and excellent facilities (shower/toilet block, laundry, washing up area, recycling, waste disposal, potable water, and small shop). Showers were brilliant- powerful and always hot.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities cleaned regularly.
Covid-safety measures in place and site numbers significantly reduced to ensure safety.
Specific areas for camping and smaller sized vans, with larger vans and caravans on hard standing areas (which have sea views).
I swam from the beach and did several walks from the site. Great place to base yourself for adventures in this beautiful area of Scotland.
I was here over 15 years ago and it’s much improved since then (although even then it was a great place to stay).
I would recommend this to anyone. I be will be back.

Very busy site.
The views are great if you get the front row -all electric hook up I think.
The owner was so kind and helped us get our van started in time to catch our ferry.

Nice location aprox 3 miles out of town, Friendly reception staff and attached cafe
Toilet block o. K. Lots of area for pitches although the ones nearest the sea the most exposed.
Selection of shops in Ullapool, Try the Seafood shack in town not to be missed.
Small Tesco in town has all the usual stuff and good free parking.

Great spot close to Ullapool on a peninsula overlooking the loch and Isle Martin. It's on the NC500 route so busy with campervans driving the route.
All level pitches, mix of hardstanding and grass with EHU. Good clean facilities with washing & drying facilities, token for washer, £1 coins for dryer.
Helpful reception with a cafe on site too.

Stayed here for one night whilst on the NC500 drive around the far north of Scotland.
It's a fantastic site in a glorious location overlooking a beautiful loch. The loo and washing facilities are modern and very clean, the showers a little difficult to get the hang of but were lovely and hot. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the site overall is very well kept and maintained.
There's a cafe on site that does breakfasts with gorgeous views across the loch and it served probably the best veggie fry up I've had in years, absolutely scrummy it was. Can definitely recommend this site.

We stayed just one night on this very busy camp site. The cost was £23 including EHU. Facilities good and clean. There is a drive over 'grey' water disposal area and easily accessed CDP, although you might have to queue. Definitely a site you need to book in advance, especially if you want to be close to the water, but mind the midges!

Its all about the location - and this one is very hard to beat. Superb views across the loch to the mountains beyond. The small beach at the front of the site is pebbles with a gentle slope.
As with previous reviews we were told all motorhomes had to go on the hardstanding as grass was soft - that's fine until you tell 5 motorhomes this and there is only 1 hardstanding left. It wasn't until one of the motorhomes went back to reception they seemed to realise they were full. (3 of the motorhome just parked on the grass as nowhere else to go).
Think you need to be there by early afternoon to get a hardstanding pitch - or book in advance, its a very popular site.
For us the hardstanding pitches are small, its more akin to an aire type parking, nowhere to put a chair out next to your van and we couldn't have pulled our awning out without it being almost touching the caravan next door.
The facilities were clean, the throughput of people is testing - only 2 showers in the ladies so there was a queue.
There is wifi at reception for 50p an hour, it doesn't reach anywhere else on site (even with a booster). They told us that in advance so we didn't waste time or money trying to boost the signal.
We paid £23 with ehu - for the view its a fair price. For us one night on the hardstanding was enough - on the slightly larger grass pitches could have stayed longer.

Situated in a lovely bay about 3 miles north of Ullapool, all the pitches have a sea view, unless you opt for the sheltered grassy area behind reception, the motorhome pitches are on the hardstanding along the right of the access road while caravans and tents can use the grass on the opposite side next to the beach, though as the weather had been very dry when we stayed they didn't seem to stick to this. Reception did not open until 4pm but you can just pitch up anywhere without a reserved sign and pay them when they open. The toilets and showers were very clean with plenty of hot water and there is a small shop for essentials, but the cafe others have mentioned was not open when we were there. The beach is very unusual with flat round stones varying from 2p to saucer size, perfect for skimming across the water. It is a very peaceful site, lots of birds and some otters, and the view is stunning. Perfect for us as a stop over but not much to do without having to drive.
