Great site and great location. We've got dogs who love water so walks along the beach were fab.
Views fantastic and the town has enough small shops for what you need and there are places to eat too (and the history of the cathedral).
The site staff are lovely and the facilities are absolutely fine.
Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely level clean site and facilities.
Great location to see Dolphins after a pleasant walk next to a golf course to the lighthouse at the end of the headland.
Would definitely recommend.

Fortrose Bay campsite is just lovely. It's small and peaceful, with wonderful views over the Moray Firth.
Rachel, the owner, was very kind, and couldn't be more helpful.
The loos are absolutely fine, and there's plentiful hot water for showers.
The site is very dog friendly and around a 15 minute walk takes you to the famed Chanonry point, where we watched bottlenose dolphins just about every day! In the other direction,
A 15/20 minute walk takes you into picturesque Fortrose.
All in all - very lovely!

Lovely site,
Staff very helpful and will show you to your pitch which will overlook the Moray Firth,
Came here to show my wife Dolphins, as she didn't believe they existed, even though I have filmed them many times whilst sailing, thankfully a pod showed up so that put that one to rest.

Beach front site, facilities very well kept. Lovely owners. Large level pitches.
Really peaceful apart from one night but you can't pick your new neighbours on a campsite.
Lovely walks on the peninsula, great golf links next door if your into that kind of thing.
Nothing to dislike.
Will be returning.

This is one of our favourite sites and becoming a regular stop over on our way home to the North East of Scotland when touring the West Coast.
The pitches at the shore front are spacious and have the most fantastic view, can be a little windy but to be expected at the waters edge, it's only a short walk along the path at the golf course to Channonry Point.
The dolphins are proving elusive on our visits, turning up just after we leave.
The staff are very friendly and helpful,
The facilities were good and clean when we visited,
No food shop on site but there is one in the village which is a lovely walk up past Fortrose Abbey.
