This was our first trip to Poppy Lands which is an adult only site and it was a delight,
Very peaceful, exceptionally neat and tidy with plenty of space.
Dogs are welcome and it gives easy access to both Cromer and Sheringham and the surrounding area.
Well worth giving it a go.

Wow what a gem of a site maintained to the highest level run by a wonderful friendly couple.
It is ideally located close to Cromer and Sheringham it is located in a very small quiet village.
The facilities are kept to a very high standard.
We have been caravanning for above 25 years and I would definitely recommend this site to anyone visiting the north Norfolk area.
They have a wonderful little store for those items you’ve forgotten at very reasonable prices and trust the customers to pay via an honesty box how lovely is that!
We will definitely be returning time and time again go on give it a try I know you’ll not be disappointed!

Really! This is an outstanding site. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone could possibly give this site anything but 10 stars.
I live and work on a farm and embrace the outdoors so to come here is an absolute joy for me to get away for a proper break.
This is a quiet peaceful little village with only one road running through it. Apart from the normal outdoor noises, birds and rustling of trees, there is the odd farm vehicle which you sometimes hear.
In fact I was thinking of booking in at the audiologists on my return for a check up just to make sure I had not suffered an acute onset of deafness!
Pam and Billy, the owners are the most caring, considerate people you could wish to meet. Being a solo traveller I feel very much at home and know that if I needed anything they would be there to help.
They cater for absolutely everything you could possibly want or need. They even provide a small variety of essential provisions and some luxuries too from the fridge and freezer - loving the ice cream! I am perplexed about any ‘screaming children noise’ as I didn’t hear any.
I have to stress this is strictly an adult only site which is fantastic as I do not have to worry about footballs, cricket balls and bats - only the black winged variety and they don’t bother me!
You cannot criticise a site or leave a negative review surely, for a child in a neighbouring garden, just like I cannot criticise my neighbours, the peacocks in the fields next door to where I live - I have no control over them!
I would really recommend this quiet, adult only site, I will probably kick myself for doing this as I will want to come again and again and hope they are not booked up.

Wow! Another fabulous stay at Poppyland. I can’t wait to return again later this year.
The site is immaculately kept / run / owned by Pam and Billy, who are a committed couple. Nothing is too much and the site is evidence of their ongoing hard work.
Thorpe Market is a small village with Poppyland set well back from the road. It is a haven of peace and tranquility, but for the bird song, that comes from the many bird feeders, dotted around the site and individual pitches.
There are too many positives to list them all, but be assured Poppyland is a real gem…….
Spacious pitches, (14 I think)……. Immaculate facilities ……….
Well stocked cabin re essentials and ice creams ( yummy )………washing machine…. Adults only (+ dogs ) ……….
Lovely walks and lots and lots of R&R to be enjoyed, if you are lucky enough to secure a pitch!

Having read all the good reviews for this site we thought we would give it a try. We were disappointed.
The site is in the middle of a busy village, with all the relevant activity, including noise from roads.
One end of the site backs on to private gardens, with screaming children the other side of the fence.
Will keep to CL's in the future.

Have just returned from a 8 night stay at poppylands, what we like about this site is endless,
The site owners Pam & Billy are such lovely people,
The site should have Gold stars at the entrance,
Pitches are very spacious and are all hard standing, toilets and showers immaculate, a small portacabin which contains washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, plus essentials like tea coffee biscuits with a honesty box, also a fridge freezer which contains essentials should you run out,
This is our 7th visit and we will return again next year,
So peaceful and tranquil, and not too far from Cromer and north walsham,
I highly recommend this site if you want peace and tranquillity,

Beautiful site, very well looked after by the owners who take great pride in their property. Plenty of space between pitches.
Toilet and shower facilities spotless. The site is well placed to visit local areas by car, and we took the bus to Cromer and also to the local pub The Vernon Arms in Southrepps.
We walked to The Suffield Arms via the wood and a path alongside a field.
There’s a nice path to walk the dog across the road. Mostly what I liked was it was just so peaceful and I wasn’t bothered if I didn’t go anywhere as the weather was beautiful, just to sit back and read a book in the shade.
Visited Mundsley which has a dog friendly beach. Absolutely gorgeous expanse of beach to amble down with hardly anyone on it.

Beautiful well maintained site, lovely large well defined pitches. Lovely ablution facilities adequate for an 18 pitch site.
The little shop with honesty box very convenient if you have forgotten something or the odd ice cream.
Only four miles from Cromer and the north coast making day trips very easy whilst being away from all the bustle in the evening.
Supermarkets are also just four miles away in either direction.
Would definitely recommend this site and will be coming again.

What is there not to like about this beautiful well maintained site? We’ve spent 5 nights here and can honestly say how welcoming the owners are and how well they look after the site, taking great pride in running it.
The pitches are all an excellent size and the facilities are immaculate for a site of this size.
We cycled to the Vernon Arms from the site and as a nervous cyclist I didn’t find it too difficult.
There was a little bit of noise from the road but it was very quiet during the night. I’m marking value for money as a 9 only because I would prefer the cost of the showers to be included in the price, it’s not about the price but having to remember to obtain 50p pieces when we are like The Queen and are cashless 😂
