This site is in a great location, a short coastal path walk from the facilities and attractions of the coastal village of Lamlash.
We had a small tent and could choose our pitch on the large flat area available for tents.
The facilities were good. If the site was full you might have a wait for the showers as only two for both male and female.
Staff were friendly and helpful, contributing to a very relaxing stay.
Quite simply an attractive campsite for a stay in a tent.

Lovely campsite with good facilities.
Very central to Lamlash with pubs, shops and restaurants in walking distance.
Not far from the ferry and lovely walks around the campsite.
Would definitely return.

Very friendly and helpful, wifi was quite patchy but a really nice place with all the stuff you’d need.
Tips were given for the best place to set up camp and they were very flexible in when/ how to pay them.
Really short walk into Lamlash. Thank you!

Good site for exploring the Isle of Arran.
10 minute drive from the ferry and 5 minute walk on traffic free path into the village of Lamlash which has a decent selection of shops and pubs including a reasonable sized Co-op and an excellent Indian takeaway.
Pitches are not marked but there is plenty of space for everyone.
The facilities are adequate but a bit tired and in need of a refresh. Would use this site if visiting Arran again.

Middletons is in a beautiful setting in Lamlash with flat grass pitching and quite a few statics. We have stayed here before as it is a good base to explore Arran and well provided by buses, pubs, beach and a Coop.
However all the previous comments regarding facilities are spot on. Barely adequate and antiquated. The ladies has 4 toilets, 4 basins (take your own plug!) and 2 showers (1hook). No shelf for your things while washing, chair or bench and just 2 coat hooks. Water IS hot but can't be mixed in the sink as no plug. No privacy cubicle or family room.
Grey waste is a drain in the road, black waste in an old outside toilet.
2 washing up sinks and some laundry facilities.
The owner is friendly enough but a bit of investment in the facilities would go a long way

Quiet site outside Lamlash. Well run. Very pleasant.
Only 2 showers available but kept clean.
Had a good stay and hope to revisit soon.
No shop on site so go prepared.

Amazing location.
Clean, quiet, friendly and the place can be replicated.
Many thanks for an amazing holiday.
The location within the island is unique.
Close to the beach and local shops.
Amazing location for road cycling, mountain biking and even swimming in the sea.

Excellent stay with no issues - Owner very helpful and the facilities were good
Lamlash is beutiful within walking distance and ample to keep young one entertained - the bay was warm and we spend hours crabbing and flattie fishing
