The site is level and spacious, catering for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents.
The toilet and shower facilities are not modern but adequate.
The site owners are making improvements at present but, with the site being on an island in the Firth of Clyde, they are reliant on the ferries and tourists to make the funds available for these improvements.
Covid restrictions and a spate of recent problems with the Calmac ferry company have not helped getting the materials to the island.
There is wi-fi on site but this and phone signals are very sporadic

Location close to Lamlash is excellent however the facilities at this campsite are very much overdue a refurbishment.
Only 2 toilets open and 2 very basic showers. Laundry facilities not available as broken down and CWD also basic.
It doesn’t justify the £28 per night fee. ( we had been quoted £26 but charged £28)

What a gem, beautifully kept grounds, clean facilities, instant hot shower water,
It’s position is perfect for a short walk to the beach or the town facilities,
We can recommend this higher than any of the campsites we have stopped at during our 24yrs of motorhoming.

Superbly located campsite in Lamlash.
Very well kept, neat and tidy campsite set with great surrounding views.
A few mins walk from the beach, and the amenities of the village of Lamlash.
Lamlash is a lovely, small village with a beach. It has a few bars/restaurants.
A superb base for walking the coastal route to Brodick or the forest / mtb track to Brodick. There is also a bus service.
The staff were warm and welcoming.
The toilets/showers were kept clean (although perhaps getting a little dated).
Arran itself is a beautiful surprise.

I have been blessed to be given oppurtunity to stay at middletons to allow me to work on Island whilst waiting for My Home to be ready. Myself and My Daughter lived here.
The owners were fantastic and helped to make our transition to Island a positive one.
To previous review regarding peace camp, this was my van, and as I was living there and working full time I needed items that people on a 2 night holiday would not have required.
I loved the site and met many lovely non judgemental people.

Lovely peaceful site, toilets and showers spotlessly clean, lashings of hot water.
Very friendly and helpful owners.
The stream running along the site is a lovely addition to the beautiful surroundings.

Well organised site, very helpful staff,
5 mins walk to town centre, with plenty of nice places to eat/drink, 3 mins from beach.
Site has quite level field that is sheltered from the worst of the wind,
