Really nice quiet site.
Shame about the toilet flush. When I went to the toilet and flushed it wasn’t enough to clear the pan! I usually went back after my shower to flush away my puppies!
I would recommend, however we were out of season.

Great location to Lamlash (5 minute walk) pubs, & beach. Broderick about 10 minute drive.
Plenty of open space for tents, campervans etc.
Facilities (toilets & washing area) in dire need of upgrade & maintenance in terms of cleaning.

We chose this site for location, as it suited us doing the Arran Coastal way.
On arrival we spoke to Elaine who sorted us out with our pitch. She said there was an issue with the toilet cleaner, which I think was a bit of an excuse.
The toilet/Shower block is very run down, 1 of the men's toilets was completely blocked, the other 2 were not clean and would not flush properly, the bins were overflowing. The showers were okay. The dish wash room was very run down.
The whole site was very neglected. We would not return.
Lamlash and the surrounding area were lovely.

Spent four nights here on the beautiful island of Arran.
Check in was very easy and Elaine was helpful in walking us around to allow us to pick our pitches.
The showering and toilets are indeed quite dated but are adequate and we’re always clean.
The availability of toilet roll seemed to be very random and because they were using normal rolls rather than the large ones that fit into the dispensers it seemed that people were taking them away and using them as their own - frustrating. There was never any hand towels available.
There is definitely a lack of site etiquette with kids (and adults) walking through pitches.
Booking could be improved by a better online facility but the phone calls did the job and came with great advice on booking ferries etc.

A very nice campsite with good facilities (toilets, showers and washing area).
Stayed for two nights over the weekend.
Site within an easy 5 mins walk of the town.

Great site, well situated near the centre of Lamlash.
Good, flat ground. Well sheltered. Good quality toilets and showers kept very clean.
Friendly, helpful staff/owner. Reasonable prices.
More than happy to use again.

This was our 4th visit to this site. We love its location in Lamlash and the friendly welcome on arrival from Elaine the site owner.
The toilet/shower block is quite old but does the job and there is a good washroom for washing/drying clothes and dishes.
It’s a 5 minute walk along a beautiful little footpath to the village of Lamlash where there are 3 or 4 bar/restaurants, a pharmacist and a coop.
Everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay on the island.
We just love it and will definitely be returning again.

Excellent site in a great location being only 10 minutes walk from Lamlash sea front.
Very nice site staff who are. Very helpful.
Problem with WiFi during our stay not the fault of the site management.
Like other sites on Arran, Middletons has been affected by the very poor ferry service.
Enjoyed our holiday very much - lots to see and do on Arran.

This site is 10 mins from the ferry - perfect!
All pitches are grass and though we would always go for hard standing our pitch and location on site was great. We did score with the weather as we got only blue skys on our stay. I think had it rained for the week I’d have a very different view.
However, we had a great stay. Really like proximity to the beach for the dog.
As other reviews have stated, the facilities are a bit dated compared to say, caravan club sites, but what’s there is clean and perfectly presented. One criticism I have is around trash disposal.
There were two mini skips and a green bin. I think the green bin was for mixed recycling leaving the skips for all general waste.
As a result there were cardboard boxes etc in the skips I guess because they wouldn't go in the green bin.
Otherwise we were happy with the stay and will be back.

Great position for access into Lamlash and good walks nearby.
The best thing for me was the lovely Elaine, who lives on the site, and was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond, helping me to set up in the lashing rain, storing my bike away for me and generally helping in any way she could. She was brilliant.
I would definitely recommend this site.
