Nice campsite, friendly staff, a minutes walk from the beach, 5 minutes walk to amenities.
What more could you want?
The only complaint was that the washing machines were both out of order so, couldn't wash clothes whilst on site.

We had a lovely stay at this campsite.
It is very well placed on the island and has good facilities.
The shower block would have benefited from some updates. But hot water and clean.
The pitches for tents were well kept and clean with adequate space for tents and cars.

Loved location peacefulness and friendliness and helpfulness of owner.
Disliked not enough motorhome parking.
Also there was no disabled facilities which proved challenging sometimes

Great location but multiple problems with service.
Wasn’t told where anything was.
WiFi doesn’t extend beyond main building so you have to go to the toilet when looking up places you are going for the day.
No recycling.
Asked for help with hookup and was looked at like we were an idiot when the process hadn’t been explained to us.
Female staff member walked into the male toilets without knocking.

Lovely, sheltered Campsite in a perfect location for exploring Arran. Just 10 minutes walk on the footpath to the co-op and pub, plus cafes.
The owners helped us choose a good pitch and were really friendly and helpful with info and directions.
Site was quiet, with a mix of pitches and statics around the edge. Facilities great - toilets and showers spotless, hot water and indoor washing up facilities.
Fridge not working during our stay but as it was cold outside, not a bother.
£28 a night for a large tent and electric hookup. Fairly good value, though thought maybe on the pricey side.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite with really friendly owners.
Pick your own pitch on a large grassy field.
Clean showers and toilets.
Nice walk into Lamlash which has nice shops, pubs and restaurants.

This was a terrific wee campsite that we recently stayed at.
Location was ideal with a leisurely stroll to Lamlash village, for provisions, beautiful views, playpark for the kids & of course the local pubs.
The campsite was really well tended, clean toilet & shower block, Extra plug sockets in the laundry room. Microwave also available if required.
We did have wifi, but only if you were at the entrance office building.
Maybe have a look at boosting the signal for all the stands. Not a complaint just a mention. We had a lovely time there very quiet through the night.
Would book again 100%. Thanks for having us.

Clean toilets and showers, 5 minutes walk from Lamlash
The grass was a bit wet and boggy and the pitches seemed quite close together
But overall this was a really good site

This site is in a great location, just 5-10 minutes walk in one direction, down a lovely path, to the centre of Lamlash and 5 mins in other direction to a wee beach where you can swim and kayak.
If you're with young children who like the beach and walking to buy an ice cream, then this site is probably in the best location of all the sites on Arran.
There's not much of a view from the site itself, and when we were there it was busy and we felt a bit hemmed in.
The facilities were a wee bit shabby and in need of some tlc - eg. One of the toilet cubicles was out of order, and the washing machines and dryers all seemed to be broken.
There were gangs of kids running round shouting till about 10. 30pm, but that may have been a one-off during the peak holiday season.
Overall, I felt the site could benefit from a bit of attention. It's quite pricey given the standard of the facilities - you're paying for the location, basically.
But as a base for Arran with young children, it's probably your best bet.
