Well 1st year of the new site and looked great.
But I already knew that the park was closed and other areas where not quite finished, but hey ho it happens, so that's not let it spoil the holiday.
Staff was great as always and very welcoming. The reception area was very well laid out and looked great.
Toilet blocks well built and plenty of room and very very clean, a credit to the cleaners.
Site was busy at the weekend but calmed down for rest of the week.
We never got our hard standing service pitch as was not finished, so ended up o a hard standing with grass.
Nice big pitch to be honest and well laid out.
Overall a massive massive improvement for tents, and tourers from the old site across the road, which you can still access for chip shop and bar if you feel inclined to do so.
Short walk from sea front, and a steady 30 mins walk into Bridlington Harbor or get the land train.
Will we be back, yes, booked 6 nights for 2020, which 2 are free because of the site not finished this year. And booked for Aug 2021.
Great site love it.

A larger site than we would normally chose but great facilities, very clean and despite being quite full was fairly quiet.
Pitch flat and accessible. Friendly night security guard let us in due to our (planned) late arrival.
Site patrolled by security so felt safe.
Would definitely use again.

Excellent campsite. My favourite so far. Was on the extended part of the site, even though it was close to the main road the traffic didn't bother us one bit.
The facilities was excellent very clean toilet and shower block. Bonus points for having a bath in the family room as my little ones get scared of the shower.
Makis is brilliant with a mixture of entertainment and a nice play area for the kids. Staff really polite and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

Site kept very clean. Couldn't fault toilet and shower blocks. Staff helpful and friendly. Great walk from site to beach or into town or choice of park and ride
Found tent pitch small and ground quite rocky under grass, had trouble with tent pegs and putting dog post in ground
But clubhouse round corner. Fish and chips near by and amusements

Complete building site. No entertainment, no. Tv, no games, and for a new facility-no recycling facilities.
Cramped camp site, a bit cosy with neighbours. However great showers

Stayed many times I prefered the old pitches as it wasn't so far to walk to the entertainment site although the new pitches are good and flat.
Dogs allowed in bar and beer garden side of play area. Nice restraunt on site and chip shop.
If you head into brid for the day walk to back of camp and buy a park and ride ticket.

Just returned from Southcliffe Caravan Park.
We went for 7 nights, & a change, instead of Haven at Thornwick bay, and £150. 00 cheaper lol.
Cost was £217. 00 inc dog.
For school Holiday Aug booking was good value for money.
Electric hard standing.
A Lovely site just a short walk from the beach.
This part of the beach allows dogs on as well.
And a lovely walk into the town along the sea front. And very very clean and tidy, a credit to the town.
There is also a park and ride & land train to the town centre also located at the sea front up from the site.
The toilet block was very clean, and the staff was always ensuring it was kept that way.
The site was extremely busy and to be honest the touring area is showing it's age.
But a new site should be up and running next year.
Quite crowded and you could definitely be unlucky with neighbours, as we were on 3 nights, but hey hoo.
There was a children's playground, chip shop, laundry and shop on site. All at a fair price.
There was a small arcade, alongside the bar, & night time entrainment was very busy. This went on until late which is fine if you aren't in a tent as their field is right next door.
We will definitely be returning to the new site, as the pitches will all be 30' x 30' either superpitch, hardstanding grass pitch, or full grass pitch.
New prices will be out in Sept.

Excellent location within minutes of a beautiful beach and easy to walk into Bridlington or catch a bus. Smart clean site with immaculate facilities, shop, club etc. On the minus side touring site is next to an extremely busy and very noisy road, sitting in our awning we couldn’t hear the tv. Quieter at night though. Pitches are very close together which doesn’t give you much room or privacy. Far too many have been crammed into what could be a more roomy pitch. Staff friendly but some campers extremely noisy.

Spent 4 nights here at the end of October, during the rain. Had stayed here in June in one of the Glamping huts.
The ground was a quagmire, made worse by cars driving over it to ge to their pitches in the middle of the camping field, drivers feeling that it is important to spin the wheels! Wifi was intermittent but suspect that it was in high demand during the half term week, gave us good reason for not communicating with Friends and family. The sea was 15 min walk away then a lovey stroll (not into the wind) into Bridlington.
Well kept services considering the weather.
A lovely location from whence to explore the local area.
Would we go back- yes, but we have now explored the area, but would recommend the site.

We arrived in our touring caravan on Sunday 22nd October 2017 to enjoy a half-term break with our children. I must say on arrival the site looked nice and secure and the static caravans and grounds looked pleasant and well maintained. The touring pitches however were a different story. The pitches are so small and closely packed together that it's very difficult to manoeuvre the caravan to the correct position. This we could cope with but the fact that the car got stuck in the mud in the first 10 minutes was a sign of things to come! It was an absolute mud bath. There was no drainage on the site whatsoever. There was a small concrete hard standing for the caravan and just a few squashed in pebbles on which to pitch the awning and barely room to park the car. Within hours our brand new awning and ground sheet were caked in mud. There mud inside the caravan, mud on the dog, mud on the kids, mud on everything! I appreciate that it is October and generally it's a wetter month but I've never been on a site that has no drainage to cope with rainfall (whatever the season) and no apparent site maintenance at all! Our pitch and many of the surrounding pitches were not fit to camp on. Being in a wheelchair, I couldn't even attempt to go outside without trailing through thick wet mud. By Tuesday morning, we'd had enough and went to talk to reception. We were met with very defensive and rude staff. They said they couldn't move us to a dryer pitch (although their were dozens of empty pitches) and worse still there was NO APOLOGY! We asked them to go and look at our pitch but they didn't want to know. We obviously didn't get a refund for the remaining days of our holiday and returned home a very unhappy family! Just some acknowledgement from the staff regarding the awful conditions that had cut short our holiday to barely 36 hours would have been something, but to be quite frank they just didn't care. I am absolutely disgusted! Also the on-site shop is extortionate, at least a 50% mark up on all groceries. Incidentally, if you are yourself a wheelchair user, please be warned that you need to take your own radar key. I was not aware of this and was told by the staff that I had to go into Bridlington and buy a key before I could use the disabled facilities! I know it's a council run site but they took our money and gave us something in return that was not fit for purpose. They just didn't care. We would never go back again and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone !
