Went to South Cliff during Whit week holidays and had a great time. The weather was brilliant, which always helps, but couldn't fault it anyway. We were in a folding camper and had plenty of room, although we weren't allowed to put our windbreak up as we had an awning, which was a bit strange as there was tons of room. The showers and toilets were always clean and although it was school holidays there was never a queue.
There is plenty for teenagers to do, football, basket ball, amusements (the only thing missing is a swimming pool). The entertainment at night was varied, a very obnoxious hypnotist to a brilliant rock band. Young children had the early entertainment slot so should have then sat with their parents or gone home to bed when the adult slot started as they were all over the dance floor. It all ended at midnight so there was no late night noise.
The beach is a 5 minute walk up the road and is lovely, very clean sand and sand dunes to hide from the wind. Good Italian restaurant near the beach and reasonably priced.
All in all, would recommend it and hopefully will be returning for Halloween.

Smashing site. Reasonable prices in clubhouse both for food and drinks. Staff polite and helpful. Security good. Seems more than a mile to bridlington though ! £4 or sometimes £5 in taxi depending on driver !
Quiet at night (after club shuts) not too bad though as tents are pitched near to this. The pitches I found were more than enough space with good gaps between tents. Oh and free hook ups on them all too.
Fish shop open till midnight, good one too. Only negative thing to report is that at 5.30pm the showers were cold but I'll live with that. I will be returning here for sure.

Just returned from 2 nights at South Cliff. Our very first touring experience ever and thanks to this site. Will certainly not be our last. Was beautifully clean.
Showers were lovely and warm with separate drying cubicles so you didn't have to dry in the shower tray. Site well maintained and staff happy to help with anything.
Club great and reasonable prices - separate adults and kids bars. Great entertainment for children. Great rates and special deals for show weekends. Very close to Bridlington itself. Quiet on night. Loyalty scheme and special family fun weekend in July!
Excellent site - a credit to the council and the staff!

This was a lovely site. The toilet block was superb and very clean, the showers were excellent, although they only last for 20 seconds at a time so you had to keep pressing the knob!
They had a nice play area for the children and the tent section is right next door to this which was really handy. It just needed some swings and little roundabout and it would've been even better.
The on site facilities were very good. The shop stocks everything and the owner is very pleasant and helpful.
We wanted fish and chips from the shop on our first night but it was only open Friday / Saturday / Sunday - I don't know whether this is any different in high season.
Lots of local attractions nearby, the beach is very close. We had a lovely walk down to Brid from the park, we got on the little land train for a bit of the way which made it much easier for the kids.
All in all was very pleased with this site and its facilities and we would definitely go again.

I loved it. It is a clean place with great facilities in walking distance from Bridlington town centre. With there being two shower and toilet blocks it is great for facilities, they are kept clean and tidy too, which is always a good point when deciding.
There is a shop, chip shop and club/pub on site. All of which are great, even if the shop is a little overpriced for some items, but I've come to expect it from campsite shops.
It is great from the children as there is easy access to the beach from the site with a gate leading onto South Cliff.
We have been every year for the last four years, and will be returning this year :)

We visited this site for 4 days and were very impressed with the facilities. They had 2 shower blocks which included a bath very clean and tidy the access to the beach was a short walk through the static vans. There were plenty of places to eat on and off the site within walking distance, the site was as described on the internet ( we have recently visited one which wasnt ) Staff were friendly and helpful the only negative comments we would add is the swipe voucher they give you to get in the site is very temperamental and the bingo is a bit pricey but would visit again

Nice clean tidy site. Well maintained. Ample space. Shop very reasonably priced & site fees very good. Hard standing for the caravans and close water fill and ample points, Good park for kids&all fenced off.Very good security. Only about 5 mins walk to beach&about 45mins walk into town centre & nice walk along beach front. There is a car boot twice week approx 15 mins walk from the site, there are places to visit around the area, within 15 mins to an hours drive, it is only a 15 min drive to one of two super markets.

As mentioned before the toilets and showers are kept very clean and tidy, also the staff are friendly and helpful. We found the security staff walking around at night reassuring. We were sited next to the main road and found this an issue at night. Site facilities were as good as you would expect. Sited so close to Bridlington everything is close to hand. Would we return? Maybe when it is not so busy, you need to get on well with your next door neighbours, as you are very close to them. Overall 9/10

Loads of units on this site. Too many really and too cramped together. Even though the staff are really helpful if you get a pitch in the middle of the field you will struggle to get your car and van in. I came home the first time with a dent from a thrown whatever and this time came away with a smashed rear light, on both occasions no one came to tell me.
Toilets were kept clean as was the site in general. Nice park for the kids and decent chippy. A big plus is the walk into brid along the sea front a lot of money has been well spent down there.
