All I can say is wow just left a review for anothe site spoilt the weekend south cliffe was full best place to stay in bridlington.

All toilets spotless was told cleaner just left her job rest if the staff took over did a sterling job. Had grandchildren with us age 4 and 6 and was very safe for them to play so could relax security very good pitches well looked after

Shop with everything you do and don't need.

Fish and chip shop on site 2 pubs one on site one

Over looking the beach safe beaches and easy walk to brid for a 4 year old down the beach

So nice would recommend.

A lovely site with a great location. On arrival at reception we were given a barrier pass, directed to our pitch, where one of the staff met us and helped us position on our pitch. We arrived early and told we could pitch early for £4, you can also stop later on the pitch for the same price subject to availability.

The pitches are flat and the site is surrounded by trees. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. There are 2 large toilet blocks with showers which were cleaned constantly.

The granddaughter loved the playground she was never away.

A 5 minute walk through the site and you are on the beach, and a further 20 minutes along the promenade and you are at Bridlington harbour. It, s a nice walk, but we were very lucky with the weather. Alternatively at the edge of the site on the sea front is the park and ride (train or bus).

There is a fish and chip shop, and a small supermarket on site we found not too expensivethe club looked great for kids. We found a great cafe at the beach area who did great home made meals, their home made pies are delicious and as cheep as chips (wish I could remember its name), but its the only one in the area. We will be back to this site in the future.

After purchasing our smaller tent we decided to go on a couple of long weekends (Friday to Monday).

On arrival we found the staff friendly and helpful and came to ensure that we got the right camping pitch. We noticed straight away that the pitch had very little grass in the middle so had no choice but to pitch our tent on top of this. Thank goodness for ground sheets.

The walk to the beach is easy to get to and this was great as you can park the car up and forget about using this, and if you are a walker Bridlington is not a million miles away down the beach.

The not good bits for us was that the camping area is far too close to the evening entertainment so you hear all the boom boom noise and also the play area, good if all the children leave before it gets too dark but not good if they are older and are up late.

The shower blocks were filthy and I only saw these being cleaned once in the whole time we were there. My girls refused to shower or wash and this is saying something when they are only young, thank goodness for a washing up bowl and hot water.

The shop is well stocked and the fish and chip shop was good, we can't comment on the entertainment as we went off site to the amusement arcades near the beach.

Would I go back only if I wanted to visit Bridlington but it wouldn't be top of my list.

This is the first site I visited we had a fantastic time here.

The staff here are very friendly and make you visit as enjoyable as they can :)

It is in a great location and only a short walk into bridlington.

There is a wonderful shop on site that has everything you could need, I used this a lot as I did not take lots of things that we needed

There is also a great little chip shop and a lovely cafe near. Both very reasonably priced. Only visited the pub once, it was clean and cheap and the staff were friendly

The kids loved the little arcade and the site has access to a great beach

The toilets and showers on site were clean and tidy and were very close to where we were pitched, which is great with 2 small children

There is also a little play area very close to where our tent was pitched

I have and will recommend this site and plan to visit often

We have always really enjoyed ourselves here, it's set in a great location, nice walk into Bridlington from here, just through the statics and your onto the beach road!

It's always been kept very clean and tidy, it has got more expensive in the last couple of years, but still not as dear as the likes of Haven and Park Resorts etc.

Makis club is a great place for all ages, and all tastes in entertainment, but particularly good for children in the family room, they always have games for kids then a band / act / puppet show for kids and adults alike to enjoy, the beer isn't too pricey either and they have some decent offers on, also the restaurant there is really good, we've always had a nice meal there.

There is a decent shop and chippy on site which are both reasonably priced, you don't feel at all ripped off whilst staying here, look out for the special offers weekends they do.

There is also an arcade, launderette, play park and games court, so all in all plenty for all, highly recommend this site, but would not return during a bank holiday as the diversity of some of the campers/caravanners, ie too noisy, not respecting your neighbours, and letting the children do what they wanted till all hours!

The staff are good though and will deal with people accordingly.

We stayed here first week of September 2 adults and 3 kids aged 11 6 4. Lovely big pitches with ehu camp kept very clean and whilst we were there showers/toilets were never to busy.

Play park chip shop campshop club house amusements and laundrette all on sight.

One thing that pleased me is the shops/bars don't rip you off beer in bar was £2. 40 a pint and chippy was normal prices.

Shop sells chilled alchol at normal corner shop prices and a good variety of frozen and chilled food.

Its right next to the park and ride which is a bargain for getting into brid. To sum up I'd say this camp has good facilities for families but keeps its small camp feel.

We went here twice in August 2011 and had a really good time. Nice even site and very safe for the younger ones. Very clean showers & toilets, cleaners there at least twice daily only site I have visited with a bath. Flat pitches all marked out so if big tent pick your number before you go but only a few so don't leave it until last minute. Pub on site food nice we went on Sunday for the carvery. Great location walking distance to Bridlington & beach. Were back in September 2012 and that's definitely not going to be the last.

Pros: Friendly staff, good showers, on site shop is very handy, on site chip shop food is very good, on site laundromat is handy, plenty for kids to do.

Cons: Tent pitches are mostly dirt and little grass (the tent got very dirty), on site shop shuts at 7pm, the beer in 'Makis' is not very good, a little far back from the front,

the kids play area with football court is right next to the campsite (very noisy from 9am till 9pm. Pitches 191 and 192 are really bad for this), and they have a gate at the top of the site that is locked at 11:30pm preventing you from having a night wander to the beach (there's probably ways round it but it's still not needed), £25 a night (high season) is a little overpriced.

I probably would go back in the future though.

Just come back form a 2 day stay with our motorhome, site easy to get to very big, but you are guided into your area by the very friendly lads if you need it. Some of the pitches are close together could do to put the motorhomes together and also the caravans like they do the tents. Between the awnings and cars not a lot of room but it makes it a bit friendlier I suppose.

Park and ride a good walking distance ok if it is not raining there is a charge (if you are not a pensioner with a bus pass).

On site facilities are fine though the showers are a bit small when you get into them unfortunately there were no hooks for your clothes that is the only down side to them.

The bar/food area is quite nice we had our dinner there and the burgers etc was good, did sample the fish and chip shop on both nights

Unlike some other comments we found both the fish and chips to be good even offered you a special fish which was very large(4. 00) but was very good.

All the staff on site from reception to the groundsman /bar staff were very friendly.

I saw another side to bridlington this week-end and would come again to this site.

Just had a one nights tenting at South Cliffe and did quite enjoy it. I

It's not the best for facilities but then I think that’s deliberate to preserve a quiet site for static owners.

It was £20 a pitch which isn’t cheap but well worth it for the quiet and an excellent toilet block. Had a meal in the clubhouse which was good but I wished I had gone into nearby Bridlington for better.

My main criticism is that the field had been recently mown and the cuttings not collected which meant all my gear was covered in grass.
