Great campsite. Nice location, walk down to Rockford 1mile along river, walk up to Doone Farm about 2. 25 miles.
Close to Porlock and to Lynmouth and Lynton.
Ray and Wendy run a clean, friendly campsite.

Absolutely beautiful place! The river running alongside the campsite is just fantastic, my kids were in it every day.
The field is great, there are a few big stone circles for campfires, we were lucky enough to be able to arrange our tents around one and it was seriously cool.
Very laid back vibe, not at all stuffy like some other sites. You can pitch wherever there is a space, which is great.
The toilet/shower block is basic but functional, as long as you can live with basic facilities it’s perfect.
Impossible not to love Ray, he’s simply brilliant and I would go back to this site just to see him again. In fact I wanted to bring him home with me! 😆
Can’t wait to go back! Xxx

Fantastic campsite. Ray the owner can’t do enough for you. From bringing logs for the fire pit and having a general chat.
The facilities are are clean and tidy. There are even fridges and freezers to use on site.
Well recommend and a very affordable price.

Relaxed, quiet and small level site with beautiful riverside walk into Lynton.
Clean facilities and hot showers.
Very peaceful setting. Plan to return soon as trip cut short by weather!

As ever we had a fantastic time despite the weather at “Farmer Ray’s” we were in a van with electric hook up, the children could roam in the field safely on their bikes, play games and just be free.
The views are stunning and the site has water, showers and toilets, freezers and washing up facilities, and recycling. We didn’t have specific pitches so we could arrange our vans in a square to shelter from the wind and to be more sociable.
The farmer is so friendly and chatty, a real character and supplies wood for our fire pit at a very reasonable rate.
It’s located within easy reach of two lovely pubs with outside seating, dogs are welcome there too.

Fantastic campsite, set in a beautiful valley. Ray the owner is so helpful and chatty.
The kids can play in the river and ride on their bikes around the field.
The toilets/showers are clean. You can have a campfire.
It’s a great site, would 100% reccomend.

A beautiful setting, with showers and toilets. We had an electric hookup so opted for a sunny spo tas the hookups weren't by the river.
As others have mentioned Ray the owner was a fantastic host, really friendly and only to happy to help out with any requests.

The notices around the entrance give the wrong impression: this site is really laid back and relaxed.
Dogs allowed, children allowed, campfires allowed, music allowed till 11pm. With it all being so easy going, we might have expected a lot of mess, but in fact the site is really tidy and the facilities are really clean.
Although the site was pretty full at the weekend, we never saw a queue for the facilities. All the essentials (toilets, showers and a washing up area) are there.
We particularly liked the fact that there are no extras - eg shower tokens. Two adults and electricity came to £19 a night.
Leeford Farm is very close to the Coleridge Way.
There is no Wifi and no mobile signal on site, but we picked up both in the village about half a mile away.
