When arriving at site was a little worried as was expecting a quiet small site, the owner advised not normally this busy.
Site was perfect for us - no club house, not loud groups just families enjoying the local natural environment.
Not an all singing site but warm showers, flushable toilets, washing up area and a beautiful river the kids love.
We will be back again soon. Location scored so low as the hills we had to drive scared me so much.

If using Satnav to get to this site and have a wide car or van, coming from Porlock don't take the first advised left turn route off the moor its very narrow most of the way. There are easier routs further on.
I have a very Small caravan, larger tourers would not make the narrow lanes and bridges.
The Site is lovely, relatively small and relaxed, owner is helpful and regularly about through the day to deal with any requests or problems.
I was allowed to pick my own pitch, I had two dogs.
Toilet and shower area were clean with plenty of signage to remind about Covid
As I took a pitch in one of the over flow fields. I did find the one down side was that sheep had recently been grazed and their poo was quite prevalent and difficult not to get it on shoes and carried into caravan.
That aside I will be staying there again.

Our first trip to Devon as Northerners and we stayed at Lynmouth resort camping with no electric. We stopped 2 nights.
From the minute we arrived we were very impressed with service. What a lovely friendly couple running the site.
The facilities were very clean and super shower facilities. Camp site was easy to access and safe. Camping was 3 metres apart and very quiet, everyone was very respectful.
Taxis from the town up to the site were fantastic and super friendly and took dogs no question (We had 2 with us).
Very reasonable price too, under £10 from Lynmouth.
We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a super weekend.

Likes - the location, stunning landscape and river, a short walk to the village and not far into Lynton and Lynmouth.
Dislikes - the campsite was extremely 'relaxed' in that children were left to run wild including through fellow campers personal camping space. Also dogs ran free, once into someone else's tent when they were out and also defecating and owners not picking up. We have two dogs and are animal lovers but are used to staying at sites where dogs are kept on a long lead. The toilet/shower block was unclean and lights not working.
We like music but the 'boom boom boom' which started at 7. 30am on Sunday was a bit much.
All in all, if you prefer to let your kids and animals run wild and are not worried about cleanliness, this is the site for you. We will not visit again.

The best place in the world to relax and unwind. Beautiful surroundings, facilities are very good and the owner is the nicest chap you'll ever meet. Very helpful and supplies wood for your campfire.
Can't recommend this place enough and been returning for years. Lots of places to just go for a walk and Lynton 6 miles away if driving.
Village is very picturesque and every time we visit it makes us smile. Many memories made here!
Thank you again for another great break away!

Just had a wonderful 3 night stay on Leeford Farm Riverside Camping.
Very much a down to earth comfortable site with the most friendly owner Roy who is very helpful and makes your stay enjoyable.
The site has everything you need, lovely showers, clean toilets, waste disposal, beautiful grass with camp fires.
The idyllic sound of the safe for children stream will have you relaxed in no time.

Good value, location and a warm welcome.
Two adults and three children aged nine, seven, and three.
Site not all level and there are no reservations.
Ray goes all out to accommodate visitors.

What a fantastic setting. We arrived and the initial pitch was a little noisy for us,
The owner was driving around in his buggy and he was more than happy for us to move to a quietist area away from the main field. He was a lovely chap and really had time to stop and chat and make sure we were ok.
Views were wonderful. We walked to the local pub which was a 5 minute walk along a very quiet road.
We will definitely be returning.
