Great little site, tidy and peaceful. Toilet/shower blocks are clean and tidy, plenty of hot water and socket for hairdryer /straighteners. Laundry and drying room if needed reasonable cost. Hard standing pitches good. Motorhome services and plenty of water points around the site. If you don't fancy the walk back from town a taxi is around £7. Will definitely use this site again.

Stayed here in a Motorhome. Really Pleasant Site which won Scotland's best touring site in 2003. Owners were friendly and accommodating but I feel this site needs to improve and upgrade it's facilities to match their charges.

45 pitches but only 2 washhand basins, 2 showers and 2 Toilets for men and the same for Ladies. Which need upgrading as do the buildings. It might have been fine 13 years ago but you cannot stand still.

Very well positioned if you need to get into Oban, only 30 mins walk to the Pier. The children's playground also needs to be improved. We had stayed at a C. L. Site in Galaway for 3 nights and at Rose View for 3 nights. The costs were double at Rose View but the facilities at the C. L. Site were immaculate in comparison.

This is a very well kept site situated on top of the hill about 2 miles from Oban, As our visit was in March only the disabled toilet / shower was in use which was clean and warm. It must be one of the most peaceful sites we've ever stayed on all you could hear were birds and the water in the stream that runs through the site. There's a nice kids play area too. I would not recommend accessing the site from the road past the ferry as its very narrow and the site entrance is at a 180' turn in the wrong direction (had to do an 8 point turn to get through the gate) There is no TV or phone reception but the EHU's have TV aerial points on them. A nice place to spend a few quiet nights

Just back from here yesterday and it was our first time in a campervan and to a camp site for that matter, anyway we feel it was what we needed as the owners were so helpful and we could not be looked after better.

We were just going to spend one night but ended up staying three. The facilities were good showers, toilets, kitchen with fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, and two sinks with hot water and a washing machine, also internet access, a good digital television signal just one thing it maybe a good thing NO phone signal.

All in all we really enjoyed the experience and have caught the bug, we will definitely be back to this site

Overall, its fine but a little expensive. They charge £5 extra pp (above 2), with no discount for children, so £30 per night for a family with 2 children. The facilities are mediocre, showers very poor. Slightly too far from Oban centre to easily/quickly walk, 2 miles.

Staff not really very customer focussed, they seem to view you as a business transaction only and tolerate you as you are paying. In good caravan sites the staff will be actively helpful and friendly. Its fine as a base to tour from or a rest before a ferry, but fulfilling a function rather than a good site. Ill have a look for others next time I am in area.

This is our second stay at this site it's really handy for town and ferries. We love the area especially the green seafood hut on the harbour

We cooked fresh mussels and langoustines. Intend to come back later in the year. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. We went cycling along the coast road to town and visited the bridge over the atlantic

The local Wheatherspoons pub is really nice.

Visited rose view end of may. Very disappointed. Toilets so out of date, no heating. No recycling. Access road a lot to be desired. I must say Oban not far. Small play area for kids. No lighting. No star rating on this site. This could be a very good park but would need a lot of money spent on it to bring it up to modern day expectations of customers.

This is an excellent site for easy access to the ferries - Oban can become choked with traffic at times so using this site the night before will ease the stress of catching the ferry! The site is easy to find, just follow the signs to the ferry terminal and then the campsite signs until taking a left hand turn at the branching of roads (the sign here is rather small). The site itself is in a lovely situation in a small valley and is well-kept with level pitches, both hard standing and grass on two levels. The owners are friendly and the facilities OK although the showers were a bit disappointing on a cold early morning. For active walkers, the site would be good for a long stay - it is quite a long, but attractive, walk in to Oban. Prices are average but this is the place to stop for early morning ferries

Lovely quiet well kept site, based just on the outskirts of Oban, but enjoying the feel of a site up in the hills, we stayed here for one night only before catching the ferry to Mull, facilities are good for the size of site. Short distance into Oban with numerous restaurant's, worth a visit to the site and Oban. Will call in again.

Quiet site down single track road on the outskirts of Oban. Peaceful. Good hard standings and nicely landscaped site. Unfortunately on our visit the only facility open was disabled toilet/shower. With approx 6 units and approx. 15 people this led to queues. No washing up or laundry open although there was a notice advising washing up could be done in hand basin in the toilet/shower! No reduction in cost for reduced services. So just check what facilities are open before you go!

There is a children's play area which looked quite good.

The nearest shops, pubs etc are in Oban.
