September 2005 What a beautiful park! The pictures on their web site do not do it justice. The heart of Oban; the Gateway to the Islands, is only 5 minutes away, but once you are on the camp site it could be a million miles away. Oban Divers nestles in a valley with the surrounding hills offering natural shelter, the park would be a real sun trap in good weather.
All the facilities are spotless and the grounds are beautifully maintained thanks to Angus the site manager We pitched right next to the kid's play ground and even had our own picnic bench. The kids had a great time just playing and the highlight of their day was feeding a family of ducks who seem to have adopted the site.
When we talked to Angus, he said there will probably be a price increase for the big tents like ours; Hartford XXL, next year but to be quite frank it is still worth it, though you will need to book well in advance. We would highly recommend this site and fingers crossed; hope to return next year.

July 2005 Wonderful little site - someone described it as Angus' back garden! And it is beautifully maintained, clean and you do indeed have Radio 2 whilst you are showering etc. Not much room for tents but if you can get on, it's a lovely site, so near to Oban town centre but seemingly so far from anywhere. Hard to find if you miss the first turn off out of Oban but once found, it's easy to find the right way in and out afterwards. Want to go again, soon!

July 2005 WE have just got home from a ten day stay at oban divers, what a fantastic site! This was our first trip to scotland, the site is in a lovely quite spot, with great views and easy walking to the town centre. The showers, toilet block are one of the cleanest we have visited, the radio is an added bonus, i shall miss radio 2 in the toilets in the morning. There is lots for the kids too the climbing area was a terrific hit as was the ducks. The best bit for us though was the stone barbeque area for cooking but mainly it was a natural meeting point for all the campers. We met some great new friends for a wee dram each night. This has been one of the best sites both nice and peaceful and great company. Will definatly be going back hopefully later this year.

April 2005 We stayed for just one night but did like it very much. Would always come back there. The bustle of Oban can not really be imagined in this secluded and tranquil campsite (maybe that was because we stayed there in April). Angus, the owner, even turned around on the road to Oban when he saw that we were heading towards his campsite. Perfect facilites (music in the toiletblock!), although the hotwater in the showers can get a little to hot. But better this way then to cold :-)

April 2005 Great little Camping Site, well signposted but what a narrow road to get to! We were greeted by the very friendly owner,Angus, for which nothing is a problem for him. He helped me with my jockey wheel, which had fallen off my caravan, due to a rushed job trying to wind it up, a bit too much I'm afraid, but as We were in a hurry to get there, I just flung it into a bag and into the boot of my Car. Angus had it back on in seconds, showed me the lay out and how to plug in the T.V. ariel I rented for a huge .50p, what a godsend to watch decent T.V.
We parked right next to the huge kid's playground, which meant I hardly saw my 7 year old daughter. This is a very clean campsite, which Angus inspects regularly like a German S.S. Officer (Keep up the good work Angus!) Would definately come back to this quaint little campsite.

September 2004 What a gem of a site! Beautifully landscaped and wonderfully inventive use of the space. A real pleasure to spend a few days in such beautiful surroundings with easy access for walking and cycling which we greatly enjoyed. An extra bonus was that we visited mid week during term time so the site was completely free of children so was blissfully peaceful. A real credit to David Tye and to Angus who keeps things in such good order and is such a helpful host. We look forward to our next visit in the not too distant future.

July 2004 Nice site, mainly for backbackers. Not that many pitches for larger tent. The ground is hard make sure you take strong pegs for a tent. Lots of hard standing for motorhomes and caravans. Covered BBQ area, with little picnic benches scattered around the site. 4mins walk to the coast, but sheltered from the worst winds by the hills. We would recommend the walk around Kerrera, ferry about 6 mins walk from the campsite.

July 2004 Passed this site many times, this is the first time I have camped there. Wont be going anywhere else when I am in Oban again and I go there a lot. Road into it is not easy when towing but it's well worth it. The site is beautifully laid out with attention to the little details. The toliets have piped music and are spotless, however I did not like the fact that you had to keep one hand on the shower button at all times to have a shower.
Angus likes to growl at you but don't be fooled he is a big softy who just likes to be on top of things.

June 2003 Wonderful gem of a site - at first we were put off by the name and the road leading to it but its lovely! Very small but immaculate. Its set on different levels with a wee stream running through it with a duck population - nice playpark for kids which we camped right next to. Theres even a small indoor eating area (a wee covered shed but welcome all the same!) Loos and showers were spotless (even had fresh flowers and piped music!!!)
A tiny shop selling basics run by Angus who, bless him, is the font of all knowledge and a nice bloke!!
Really recommend this site.....
