We really enjoyed our time on this site even when it was at full capacity. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and friendly and we had been allocated a hardstanding pitch next to our friends as requested. Any time we popped into the shop or had a question to ask we were made to feel very welcome. The Staff also made the effort to ask how you were anytime they passed your pitch.
The showers and toilets were kept spotless. At no time did we have to queue for the showers or the washing up facilities. The Family room was a real bonus with the added benefit of a baby bath and plenty of space to wash us all. Again, this was spotless.
We didn't venture off site for the two days we were there and found plenty to keep us occupied with the kids play area and woodland walks. The outside games were an added bonus as was the indoor games / information room.
The local cheese and meat for sale in the shop was excellent and highly recommended.

Just got back from 3 night stay with family and friends. Great site, superb showers and friendly staff. Lots of wildlife (owls, friendly robins and wagtails, not so friendly hornets etc!) and a really good location for trips out with the kids such as Moore's Valley, Bournemouth or Christchurch/Muddeford. Harlees fish and chip shop in Verwood definitely recommended for tea. Family changing room is a great idea as it is a bit of a squeeze with a child in the normal cubicles, bough they're fine for one person.

Staff are first class, all the buildings are clean, well maintained, the site is litter free, good sized park / play area, there is a morrisons in the nearby village and if you like walking or have the kids with you moors valley park is not too far away, I think I read a few comments on the pitches being small, in my opinion, the pitch area is tweaked a little on every turn around, so to keep the grass healthy, your unit fits in the space allocated and you are free to use the remaining space surrounding your unit, seating, clother poles and such like, but not wind breaks. Oh and there is no count down to the entrance, so go slowly once past the golf club.

Returned to this site for an eight night stay, meeting up with family. As always, a warm welcome by the wardens, sorted out and pitched within 10 minutes of arrival conveniently near to family. The site is always immaculately clean, spotless facilities and a nicely stocked shop within the site office.
A good variety of pitches, mostly hard standing but a good selection of grass pitches, with and without mains electricity. A good children's play area in plain view of all, but to one side of the site. Convenient for the New Forest, Poole, Christchurch, National Motor Museum - no excuse for getting bored.
A selection of shops within a few minutes drive, a good camping shop within a 10 minutes drive. Lots to do for families within a 20 minute drive, even more within 35 minutes drive. Although situated near a fairly busy road, noise is not obtrusive.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend.

The site was lovely and clean, and well maintained. The site managers and team were extremely helpful to everybody both young and old. The play park and recreational room are ideal for families with young children. The shop on site is small, but stocked an excellent range of everyday essentials. We were hugely impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and look forward to going to this site again. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday!

What a fantastic site. Very clean, well maintained. The toilet block, showers, washing up area and laundry and all very modern. They are kept clean to a very high standard. The staff are lovely, showed us to our site and left us to get on with it. A beautiful site with a great play park for the kids. My 2 kids (6 and 2. 5) were able to ride their bikes all round the place, without the need for me seeing them all the time. Nice And quiet after dusk. We were situated next to the ablutions block on a nice level piece of ground
Will most definitely visit Verwood again next year

Good site with the standard of toilets and shower we have come to expect from club sites - very good. We had a good walk through the woods and a small village on some quieter roads, however the road to the main town is far to busy to walk on and there is no path. There is no where to bike ride straight from the site you would have to travel with the bikes to a safer location. This was not a problem for us as we only stayed for a weekend.
The wardens were very helpful and pleasant but like all club sites did enforce the rules with wind breaks etc (fun police!). We had a good weekend and would go again if in the area!

We visited this site for the fifth time and were made very welcome by the new wardens, who were very polite and helpful. The site has seen a great improvement with new toilet/shower block and hard standing pitches. We found it very quiet especially at night as gates are closed at 11pm so no traffic going past at all hours. If you are looking for a site with loud music and booze this is not for you, but if you want peace and quiet I would highly recommend here.

Made to feel very welcome from the friendliest wardens and shown to our pitch down by the dog walk which I requested which was no problem at all.
The usual facilities, showers, toilets, washing up area were spotless.
Lovely walks through the woods if you have dogs or children.
One negative for us was the fact that you couldn't walk to verwood along the road as there is no footpath and its a busy road, and we couldn't find a footpath that went into verwood either. So if your in a motorhome make sure you have supplies.
One bonus is the Indian delivers to the campsite and the mid week special is something else! would go back if there was a footpath into verwood. Fantastic wardens though.

I visited this site with my family during the Whitsun half-term holiday. This was my first visit I am pleased to say I was very impressed with everything on the site and the attitude and helpfulness of the wardens. I stayed on a grass pitch with EHU in the field where the playground is located. This is a small climbing frame, swings, etc. This was not too noisy and was perfect to keep an eye on the children whilst having some relaxation! The showers and toilets are very clean and did not ever need to queue. To keep the children and adults amused there is a small games room including a pool table (no charge) and three electronic arcade type games. Also traditional games, including chess. The dog walk was very nice and was part of a trail through the woods. This was very relaxing walk with beautiful surroundings. Prior to booking, I did have some concern regarding traffic noise from a road which runs alongside the site (B3081). My pitch was on the opposite side of the site away from the road and I did not have any problems with this. This might be different if the pitch is next to the road but the noise will still not be excessive as the road is not ever busy. All in all this is a vey good site and I'm vey much looking forward to returning.
