Another fantastic visit to parkfarm.
Home from home. Such a warm welcome from Derek, Julie and hunter.
Went as a group for birthday bash.
We hired the sites marquee as the weather wasn't on our side.
Best thing we did.
As usual everything was clean and pitches tidy and well kept.
2 of the group hired the luxury tents. They were very pleased everything they needed all there ready set up for their arrival.
We have been going here since 2011 and the site gets better every year.
The management do everything to make your stay a good one.
Lovely play area for the kids too. And a wood to explore.
Thanks for making our stay fantastic and we will all be back next year.

Cant fault campsite itself and the derby inn nearby was good for food. You would need to be aware that our phones didn't have signal but there is wifi for message sending. We went for quick access to A47 after visiting Norwich. Also be aware that some approach roads are single track with narrow passing places

This site has all that you need for a very reasonable price.
The pitches are tidy, washroom spotless and is located next to farmland for the sights and sounds of nature.
The site managers are very friendly and care for all their guests.
Bring an OS map with you to make the most of the local public footpaths.

Outstanding in every way!
My first trip out with two small children in a caravan and Julie and Derek went out of their way to make us welcome, make sure we had everything we wanted/needed, not to mention a few basic lessons in caravaning! Derek even emptied out our waste water tank and showed me how to unhitch properly.
We accidentally left a favourite doll behind but not only did Julie avert disaster by sending it first class (received within 24 hrs of calling to ask if they'd seen it), but the doll arrived gift wrapped and with a new hand-knitted blanket! Unbelievably kind people and we are definitely coming back.
Thank you both for making our first caravan holiday absolutely perfect!
See you again soon!
Zip wire, park and various ride-on toys all over the pace also a BIG hit with the kids!

We made use of a Groupon glamping offer and stayed for two nights in a pre erected tent. The tent was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us. Lots of things were supplied, all you needed was your bedding, food, clothes and towels - they even provided a tea towel and washing up sponge. Toilets and showers were a bit dated but kept clean and tidy. Ideal for those with younger children as there was a very nice play area and a splash pool. There was a little honesty shop that stayed open late and wasn't expensive. Site was clean and staff friendly.

Just back from a brilliant 4 night camp at the brilliant Park Farm campsite.
Had a thoroughly relaxed time (well, after everything was set up) from beginning to end.
The site is wonderful, the layout of pitches gives so much space that it wouldn't ever feel cramped. Designed as a large circle so as to leave an enormous playing field in the center complete with 5 a side goal posts.
Our children loved the zip wire on the little play park and as we were pitched close to it they were very rarely not playing on it.
The toilet facilities are very good and were always clean and maintained. I would say that if the site is busy then perhaps a few more toilets wouldn't go amiss but as the site was pretty quiet when we were there this wasn't really an issue.
Finally Derek, Julie and Hunter (Their lovely dog) couldn't do enough to make our stay exceptional. They were always more than willing to stop and chat and are both just so friendly and welcoming.
What more to say other than we shall most definitely be returning to Park Farm as it is a wonderful place to chill out.
Thanks for reading.

This was our first camping trip for 9 years and the first time with our children (aged 5 & 8). We received a warm welcome and although we were allocated a pitch we were told if we did not like it we could choose any other vacant pitch.
The site is well presented and has a good play area including a zipwire. The children enjoyed splashing around in the large paddling pool. We observed fellow campers making use of the pizza oven. The honesty shop is well stocked and runs on an honesty basis. We hired a firepit at the cost of £15 for the duration of our stay which included a starter supply of logs/kindling; additional wood could be purchased from the shop. I only used the showers in the shipping container as they looked more appealing, they were always clean and there was a steady supply of hot water for no additional cost.
We enjoyed some good days out as a family. Anybody with young children must visit Bewilderwood in Hoveton and the Dinosaur Park in Lenwade. Both sites cost about £60 for a family ticket which really represents good value for money if you make a day of it. There is a lot to do at both sites, for child and adult alike, so much fun to be had! If visiting the Dinosaur Park, be sure to take socks for the indoor play and a towel/bathing costume for the water zone which looked awesome fun on a hot day.
We visited Blickling Hall NT in Aylsham. The children enjoyed dressing up and playing croquet on the lawn. We enjoyed a picnic sitting on deckchairs overlooking the lake. There is also an interesting RAF museum on site. The gardens were beautiful and extensive.
We made a short visit to Norwich to enjoy dinner with friends. We went to the Grosvenor Fish Bar in Lower Goat Lane, I am not kidding but we enjoyed the best fish and chips we have ever had! Excellent service and in a unique, quirky setting. A must!
We enjoyed a quiet week at the campsite but this changed on our final day when we arrived back to find several large groups set up next to us. We listened to their music all afternoon and well into the evening. It was not mega loud but it was an annoyance. The site fell quiet about 1045 and then we listened to campers and their children making use of the tap behind us. One large group stayed up later talking and laughing loudly, fortunately rain stopped play about 1130.
With hindsight we should have pitched as far away from the electric pitches as possible.
We had the displeasure of finding a large pile of dog poo behind us one morning. Fellow campers often used our field to walk their dogs. When I informed the warden he was very apologetic and went to clean it up straightaway.
I also made a point of informing the warden of the wire mesh that was sticking up on the bridge in the play area, just waiting for a child to trip over.
A little shelf in the showers would have been useful to put toiletries on and the handwash was often placed on top of the paper towel box, out of reach of children.
The site was an excellent location for visiting the many attractions that Norfolk offers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Just returned from a week at this lovely quite site, Derek and Julie (not forgetting Hunter and The rest of the staff), couldn't do enough for us, thank you Derek for the loan of the bike for our son.
Site is nicely located, but be aware of the roads to the site, one of them is only a single track lane so problems with anyone towing anything, there is a warning on the website, but this is not picked up with a satnav entry, so check with a map before setting out.
The toilet block and temporary block was always clean and warm, the shower water pressure did suffer when lots of people were using, but once the site quitened down after the bank holiday, it was great, good pressure and hot. The on site shop was basic and very reasonably priced, and sold a good range of ice creams, unusually this day and age it has an honesty box for payment.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best and we had a lot of rain, but the pitches were level and did not suffered from any flooding, but the mud tracks around part of the site was a little boggy, glad we had a SUV as I'm not sure how we would have faired with a normal car, but Derek was driving his 4x4 about towing caravans about the site, so he would help if anyone did get stuck. We had a pitch with electric hookup and the pitch site was brilliant, it accommodated our large tent with side porch with ease.
The site is very close to the village centre, with a couple of pubs, delicatessen, butchers and local shop, most 'large' supermarkets are within a max of 30 mins drive I. E. ASDA/Tesco/Sainsbury's, Morrisons/Aldi and Lidil also are close to hand. Norwich is approx 30 mins drive with good range of everything you would need. Unfortunately due to the weather, we didn't get to venture out as much as we would have liked, but we visited the military collection at Muckleburgh, also the glass workshop at Langham, both very good days out, especially with a teenage son in tow.
We enjoyed the break, and it gave us an idea of what was about in the area, the family have already expressed an interest to return to the area. We will return and Park Farm site will be firmly on the list of sites to book.

Just stayed here with friends for few nights we had our own tent they hired one of the tents available to use from them, we had a great time despite the horrible weather. Facilities clean and looked after a great park for the kids to play and a massive open field for football cricket etc etc. Kids loved going to the shop to spend there money will certainly revisit this place as its only 1hour 30 mins from home and close enough to explore more of Norfolk on a nicer day.

We've been coming to Park Farm for a number of years and still keep coming back. Nothing is too much trouble for Derek and Julie, who we look on as good friends. The site and facilities, which are excellent, are clean and well maintained. Well behaved children and dogs are made very welcome. Site is very safe and sensiible children can be left to their own devices. Already booked in for our next stay!
