We have just spent a week at this site and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is set in beautiful countryside with a lovely pub within walking distance. The owners Derek and Julie were very friendly and were only too happy to help. The toilets and showers were clean and we did not have to queue considering it was high season. The new toilet/shower block was great too and helped cope with the volume of visitors. The pitches were good size and we're not on top of each other. The on site shop was well stocked with everything you would need and the prices were extremely reasonable. All in all this was a very friendly and well kept site which we would be happy to return to again.

We had a fantastic week here on a family pitch with electric hook up and at £24 a night it was great value.
We ended up staying an extra night as we didn't want to leave.
The site was well laid out and really well looked after, with lots of little extras that made it special, like the honesty shop, pizza oven and more.
Walking distance to the village makes this a great location and was perfect for my morning run!
The Norfolk countryside is truly lovely and we visited some amazing places and for the petrol heads out there snetterton race circuit is only 35 mins away.
All in all a brilliant stay.
One negative point is that there were a lot of insects in the toilet blocks, perhaps an insect killer wouldn't go amiss.

We've just returned from 3 nights at Park Farm.
The online booking was straight forward, and the directions on the website easy to follow. The cost of £18 a night per tent/family was very reasonable.
The camping field was set out with nice big clearly marked pitches. As there were 5 tents in our group, we had 5 pitches, and as such had quite a big area to ourselves. I like that there is a nice area in the middle where the kids can play, which is in addition to the swings and zip wire.
The showers and toilets were clean and tidy with a mop and bucket provided to allow campers to clean up if the floor got too dirty. There was always hot water, and although the site was quite busy, I didn't have to queue for a shower. The laundry room proved useful to one of our group who was camping with a baby.
The owner, was very friendly, and the on site shop proved very handy for ice, bread, sweets etc.
The fact that this campsite allows campfires is a real winner in my book.

We visited Park Farm recently for 5 wonderful days.
The park celebrates the very best of camping and caravanning. Large pitches, lots of open space, a peaceful site with facilities for kids, a well stocked basic shop, left unmanned with an honesty box (just tells you all you need to know) and really pleasant staff on site to help but not interfere.
The shower and toilet facilities were always clean and hot water always available.
For the kids there is a small splash pool, kids playground with a zip wire, and in the centre of the park is a pizza oven where you can get inventive with your culinary skills.
Several local takeaways, Chinese, Indian and Italian deliver to the site.
Within half an hours drive is Sheringham, the most beautiful olde world seaside town. Clean, quaint, like going back to your childhood.
Blakeney Point is another place worth visiting. There you can catch a boat and enjoy a one hour trip to visit the seals that reside on the North Norfolk coast. At £10 per adult and £5 for kids this is an affordable highlight, a great morning out.
In nearby Dereham you can get all you need with all the usual supermarkets, national shops as well as a few individual traders.
Immediately around the site the roads in all directions are single track. Sadly I am to reversing what Brian Blessed is to whispering, so we were fortunate that no other vehicles approached us on arrival or departure. I can imagine that that could be an issue.
A real bonus is that whilst understanding others are to follow you onto your pitch, you are not chased away by 10am. It makes a big difference with small children.
Overall, a brilliant site, a wonderful area where life genuinely seems a little slower paced and the people just a little more relaxed and a little more polite.
Being objective, this probably is not the best site we've been to, but it's the best and most relaxing time we have had for a good while.
Thanks Park Farm, it was great!

We are a group of 3 families and this was our second trip to Park Farm and it is as lovely as we remembered it from last year. The owners are most fantastic hosts and incredibly helpful and friendly. Ames is also a valuable new member of the team, always with a smile on her face. Pitch sizes are great and there is plenty of space to spread out to play games. We had a great time again, lots of games played, loom band making, water balloon firing, rounders, lots of chilling out and chatter. Cooked and ate outside for all meals. The inflatable pool and park was a great hit with my daughter. We hired a fire pit again and sat round it playing games and toasting marshmallows. The sun shone on us - although there was 2 storms overnight but this did not stop play. The shower block and washing facilitites are top notch. Guys, we will be back again!

My family and I (5 people, 1 dog) spent four days at Park Farm, arriving at 14:30 on the Friday and departing at 11:00 on the Monday. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. On many occasions over the weekend we witnessed them assisting us and our fellow campers with typical, as well as some unusual, needs. Any problem was, wherever possible, met with a solution - from leaky tents to electrical extensions - these hosts were ready and prepared to tackle all eventualities.
Hunter, the site dog, visited our pitch regularly and was a very welcome play mate for our beloved canine family member.
During our stay we made use of the on site pizza oven which was lit for us and assistance given when needed. The children loved playing on the zip wire and swings whilst also making the most of the ample field space for playing ball games. Hunter liked to get involved too giving the children hours of entertainment. To cool off the children were often in and out of the easy up pool. In the evening we played card games in the covered hut which is equipped with table, chairs and light. We made use of the fire pits available which was initially to be our campfire but we found it doubled up nicely as a BBQ thanks to the grill that can be provided upon request (£5 security deposit required, refunded on return). The showers, toilet block and washing up facilities are well maintained with ample hot water. The site has a laundry room equipped with washer, dryer, fridge, freezer and sink and there is also a family room for those with younger children who may need changing table facilities. This room also has a toilet and shower in it. Wi-Fi is available but may be dependant on phone signal.
Whilst the site is quite isolated they do have a small site shop for any immediate essentials. Alternatively there is a village within walking distance providing a small shop/post office, delicatessen, butchers and a couple of pub/restaurants. For larger purchases it's only about a 10 minute drive to Dereham.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and fully intend to return annually for a break from the madness of modern day living. Having banned our children from taking any electrical equipment (not even mobile phones!) this was the perfect location to reconnect as a family and remind the children that there is a life on the other side of their screens.
It may be that our enjoyment was assisted by the fact that the site was not overly busy during our stay. The ladies shower block consisted of 2 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks which may lead queuing during busy periods. I would imagine this could be the case for the 2 washing up sinks also. However I feel the benefits of this site far outweigh this theoretical fault.

Large flat site which was excellent for children with many facilities - paddling pool, swings and room for football.
Also there were log camp fires available to hire. The owners were friendly and helpful.
There was a fridge and freezer and washing machine.
But the showers were totally inadequate for the number of units on site. There were over 30 caravans and tents and only 2 showers for ladies, 2 for men in a block and 2 unisex which were in a portable facility. The unisex were too small with no ventilation. The drains of the other showers were blocked so you were standing in your own waste water but in one shower, the waste water of the person next door. So only one shower was usable on the site. There was only one washing up sink which was not clean but did have hot water.

Our group was a mix of caravan, trailer tent and 3 tents. The site is lovely, loads of space - each pitch is 10metres square! Plus loads of free space for playing. The fire pits were fabulous, keeping us warm in the evenings. The owner and his wife and grandson very helpful. Village close with good shops. Lovely walks along the Wensum Valley. Shower blocks heated, Showers were hit & mis - mine was lovely, hot and plentiful. However some of our party had little or no pressure. This is caused by the washing up sinks demanding water at the same time as showers. There are plans to install more showers. We are going back again May Bank Holiday!

Super site which feels remote but actually the perfect location for touring Norfolk. Lovely owners who greeted us and explained the 'honesty box' system for purchasing milk etc.
Quiet site with no late night noise. Lots of children around but the tents are placed around the edges with plenty of space in the middle and large pitches. We certainly weren't bothered by pesky kids!
I don't like dogs on campsites but those we saw were well-behaved and no mess!
When we visited, the showers were more a trickle than of use - hair washing was impossible. Was probably bad luck. I would definitely recommend the site.

Just come back from a weeks break at the site with the site hosts), Harvey and Hunter (their two dogs). The owners welcome you like old friends and do everything within their power to make your stay fantastic.
I am sure if you had forgotten to pack anything for your stay it would be sourced and supplied. Whilst we were there an electric cable was found, air beds for another, amazing.
Playground very safe for the kids and the owners are always thinking of ways to further occupy the kids with fun play equipment. The splash pool was great and was used numerous times and the jeep and chariot was pushed frequently around in front of the tent.
The woods and stream provided bug hunting fun for my two and a tyre swing was made in the woods to further enhance the experience.
The pitches are large 10 metres by 10 metres and easily accommodated our 7. 5m by 5m tent.
There is a great pub called the Darby a 15-20 minute walk away dependant on the level of sobriety. At the end of the lane there is a fantastic butcher, delicatessen, general store, next to the pub. But also the meat available from the site in the freezer is good.
The fire pits were a good way of evening entertainment and even better if another camper started drumming out a tune, which we all listened to whilst toasting our marshmallows.
The best recommendation about a site is would we a family of four with two children 7 & 9 return. The answer is most definitely and are trying to think when we can next escape to this relaxing site, where every form of person and camping is accepted. A real breath of fresh air.
