We have just returned from a 3 week stay at this wonderful site. Having previously been there a few years ago we were afraid that it may have changed but no, it is still a little piece of heaven. Leigh and Mark the owners, are friendly and as ever they are helpful. We needed the use of a fridge to store some medical supplies and immediately Leigh made space in her own fridge for us. The site is quite small but very well kept. The toilet facilities may be small compared to the bigger commercial, sites but spotlessly clean and in keeping with the site. There are a couple of statics on site but they do not infringe on the park and then there's the bus. Yes that's right a bus. Mark and Leigh have turned it into accommodation for people who want something different. During our stay everybody who stayed in the bus commented on how much they had enjoyed it. While at Wood Farm we visited the usual seaside towns such as Skegness ans Mablethorpe plus Boston, Spalding and Coningsby to see the Battle of Britain memorial flight and museum. This is a must see if you are in the area.

Fabulous little site, dog and child friendly. Owners were lovely and make sure everyone is ok by coming round every day to have a laugh and make sure the campers are happy ones. Pitches are right next to the water so great for fishing. Well stocked with usual carp etc and fish in lovely condition as they have a barbless hook policy and guests only allowed to fish. Pitches were well spaced out, only 1 shower but no problem with waiting, and the toilet was spotless. Was also use of a microwave, kettle, fridge, sink etc which would be so handy for campers. The site was nice and level with the grass in beautiful condition. There was a good walk for the dogs through a couple of fields. The EHU pitches were a reasonable £18 and fishing was free which is a bonus, as was the dogs and awning. There was a good kids ball games area away from the caravans, and the kids were all well behaved and having fun, with lots of the lads fishing with their mums and dads, so lovely to see nowadays. I will go back to this site if only for the banter with Mark!

Just had 5 days on this cracking little site (13th-18th). The owners mark and liegh are the nicest people you could ever meet nothing was too much trouble they go out of there way to make sure everyone is happy, we were and have already booked another trip in august.
The pitches are placed around the fishing lake and contain electric hook up points, there is one gents, one ladies toilet, one shower, but we never had to queue for any of these and the site was full.
There is two drinking water taps one at each end of the site, a waste water point and chemical toilet point.
The facilities were spotless and the site was too.
The fishing was hard going but had 6 decent fish including a 7lb carp.
There is a little tackle shop in coningsby that sells basic tackle and bait (15-17 Silver St, Coningsby, Lincoln LN4 4SG) or you can go to the big tackle shop in Horncastle (Lincoln Rd, Horncastle LN9 5AW).
There is a post office just down the road which incorporates a mace store but did not use as we either went into coningsby (coop) or into spilsby (sainsburys).
Please be advised if you have children then this site might not be suitable as it has not got any play parks for children.
BE WARNED the entrance to the site can be easily missed and if you are following sat nav it will probably take you to the farm before the entrance, just go further on as the entrance is signposted on the bend, the road leading to the site is very potholed so if you are towing a caravan please take it easy, the owners are trying to get the council to rectify this but it is a long process.
If you want a site for total relaxation and to chill out and do a bit of fishing then you have come to the right place.
An absolute little gem of a site that is tribute to mark and liegh, cannot wait to go back next month.

What a fabulous campsite, small with a friendly atmosphere. Only the one mixed shower and one toilet/basin for each gender but impeccably clean and always available. Fresh towelling, nice toiletries. Small, compact but very serviceable kitchen area with additional supplies for tea and coffee making. Two fridges, one for bait and one for campers personal use. Electric hook available throughout the site although we didn't need it. Mobile butcher visits on a Saturday morning. A challenging weekend for fishing, they don't give themselves easily! Mark and Leigh were extremely helpful and super hosts. Our fire pit was amazing. A definite selling point! We are seasoned campers and Wood Farm has exceeded all previous experiences in the UK. We will certainly be going back and have already recommended to friends and family especially with the addition of two static caravans and a glamping double decker for those who prefer a little more luxury!

We loved this charming site which is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The focal point of this site is the fishing pond where my husband and son caught plenty of fish. The site is very small and quiet. The caravans and tents surround the pond. There are a number of dog walks straight from the site which were lovely. The owners Mark and Leigh were great very friendly, helpful and had a very relaxed way about them. If you want a clean, peaceful, quirky and relaxed site this is for you.

Stayed for a weekend at this delightful little campsite in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. I had booked as my son and a friend wanted a little fishing break and we were pleased we did. Caravan is spot on, clean and tidy and the campsite itself is very well kept and stunning. The fishing is tough going and the fish take some catching but I highly recommend and the quality of fish is fantastic. The owners are fantastic and will do anything they can to help. Even helping us turn our oven on at 10pm in the pouring rain!
It was well worth the 350 mile round trip and I will be doing so again.
Thanks

Stayed here with friends for the weekend recently, and would highly recommend the place. The owners, Mark and Leigh were fab. Mark even came out to sort our oven out in the pouring rain at 10pm.
Caravan was great, and the on site facilities were spotless. There's a few villages/towns within a short drive to grab some supplies, but the site itself still has a secluded feel to it so you can relax and unwind.
We came mainly to fish, and had a good few days - some nice carp to be had, amongst others. We've already said we'd definitely come back, maybe as soon as the summer holidays, so it's definitely somewhere I'd recommend if you're after somewhere new to try.

I have just got back after a lovely weekend glamping at wood farm. I do not usually write reviews but I had to comment on what a lovely stay we had. We stayed in the double decker glamping bus for 6 people. What an experience! The bus was immaculate and includes everything. The kitchen is well equiped and has lovely little touches to make it homely. There is a tv and heaters (and carbon monoxide detectors) for the chilly mornings which were safe and effective. The beds and onsuite were very clean. Obviously it is a bus so the steep stairs may be inaccessible to some people. There is a log burner and wood can be bought on site. Next door there's is a campers store room with a spare toilet/shower, extra books and board games, fridge etc. There is a lake on site that can be fished on. Although there is not much to do for little ones, ingoldmells and skegness is a 25mins drive away but they also love play driving the bus (my daughter spent the weekend with the conductors hat on and asking for our bus tickets please). Also, the site owners are so friendly and very welcoming. I will definitely be returning. Thank you

We wanted a quiet week away in a small site, and Wood Farm was perfect for us and the dogs. Mark was friendly and chatty and helpful for information about the local area. We had the place to ourselves for most of the time, as it was close to the end of the season. Caught a big fish, but enjoyed the chance just to fish for a time. The shower and toilet block was spotless and the place was well kept. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet campsite, that is still near to a main trunk road to go sightseeing in Lincolnshire.

What a great ten days we had on this site. The moment we arrived was met with a warm and friendly welcome from mark and liegh. The site is lovely and everything about like kitchen shower toilet rooms was spotless. The grounds are well looked after and look amassing. All credit to the owners for making it look so good the fishing was great. Had a good size carp that weighed 17. 05 pound. We would definitely be going back I would recommend any campers to give this site a go. Its amust. Des. Donna. Tillymoo.
