I tried earlier in the month to book this camp site but couldn't as it was full. I am glad we got in this time. What a beautiful camp site this is, with all the pitches round the lake nicely spaced out. The owners Mark & Leigh both made us really welcome. There is only one ladies & gents toilet and one shower but this was no problem at all. They were always kept nice and clean. This place is like heaven to me being able to fish near my tent. I didn't catch much but lost a big carp as it was getting dark. The fishing is free to all guests. There was also a microwave and fridge and kettle for everybody to use if required which was handy. There was even maps available showing you the paths to the village were there is a fish & chip shop, shop and pub. We will definitely visit this site again.

Probably the best campsite in the world ever! We stayed in July. We had a rotten trip but were given a warm welcome from the owner after arriving late.
The site is amazing. All the pitches are within a stones through of the lake and most within a few metres. The owners work tirelessly to ensure everyone is is happy and the facilities are clean and well stocked.
The lake is a little slow if you are fishing. We (son aged 7 and I) are new to fishing, but even the more experienced anglers were finding it tough going, although everyone with patience were rewarded with some lovely fish eventually and even I landed some good sized carp. Luncheon meat and chickpeas were the bait of choice whilst we were there and if you need tackle and bait the shop in Spilsby is very good and very helpful.
There is not a lot to do in the local area, particularly for families, but if you are content with relaxing, fishing and generally taking it easy then you are in for a treat. There is also a playing field away from the lake which was great for the kids to kick a ball about, fly kites, etc.
The bags of firewood are very generous and you should easily get two nights out of each one. An axe is useful if you have one as some of the logs are sizable. Tripods are also available if you are cooking over the fire.
Local pub is OK and can be walked within 20 mins. There is also a small shop in the same village. Boston is about a 20 minute drive and has loads of shops and supermarkets.
The only frustrations were the odd queue for the shower/toilets and the yapping dogs of other campers.
Just a word of caution with regard to the owners weather forecasts and predictions on fishing success. They are frequently optimistic!
Great site, more than happy to recommend it.

We had a lovely time here in the first week of June. We were blessed with great weather which obviously really helped! We were there predominantly for the fishing so didn't venture out very far apart from going to the Morrisons supermarket in Skegness and to the local chippie and Chinese takeaway, which were both lovely!
We stayed in one of the static caravans which was impressively clean on arrival. The owners are incredibly accommodating and nothing is too much bother for them. I was particularly impressed with how meticulous Leigh was in cleaning the toilet and shower block. She seemed to spend an eternity in there cleaning! There was plenty of space for our dogs to run around as there is a field next to the lake where they can be let off the leads.
The fishing was good but hard going sometimes. The biggest we had out was a 8. 1/2 lb mirror carp in the week we were there but we did have a couple of lovely tench and plenty of other mirror and common carp. The fish were in excellent condition every time. They fought like hell too which was great. The fish had just spawned so this may have also affected our chances though. :-) even so, lovely fishing!
We hope to return later this year. 10/10, spot on.

This site is an absolute haven. As soon as you arrive it's imposible not to fall in love with it. The site is very clean, beautifully maintained and has wonderful hosts. The fishing is good, Dogs are welcomed and they even have a separate field for dog walking. The site has one male and one female toilet and a shower, washing up area and even a bait fridge to keep the fishermen happy. Don't be put off by the low number of toilets, they are immaculately clean and it's a small site, we've never had to wait and the attention to detail makes you feel like the owners really care about the experience you have while staying with them. One great added perk for this site is that you can use and hire firepits so if you enjoy cooking outside this place is a must. Wood is available from the owners and is cheap and plentiful.
This site has to be seen to be believed, it really is amazing x

What a find is this site, made to feel welcome from Mark and Leigh right from the original booking. Escorted to our pitch with all the help you needed.
Could not fault the site in any way, Yes I admit there is only one shower for all and one toilet each but this was a bank holiday with a full site and we had no problems at all
The site and all facilities was immaculate and a credit to both of them, with Mark coming round the site every day to check everyone was ok
Fire baskets available to give that old fashion camp feel was a real plus and worth the quid hire ( wood is extra fiver but goes a long way )
Fishing was very good with plenty of silver fish and Carp up to 20 pounds with plenty around the 10 pound area but be advised no boilies or groundbait/night fishing, and take Marks advice on bait I did and done well with mussels being the top bait by far one for me and one for the fish
Plenty to see with Skeggy just up the road and the local pub The Rising Sun done excellent food all day every day and you need to be a big eater the portions are massive
To some up would we go again? already planning our next trip here with other members of the family says it all realy you cannot go wrong

Beautiful camp site. They are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The static caravan is home from home and very clean. We have booked another couple of times this year. We love fishing and woodfarm provides peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. There is plenty to do nearby. Mablethorpe has a lovely sandy beach and lunch in Dave's cafe is a must. We camped at the site last year and the facilities are spot on 10/10. I would highly recommend xx

Well what a site, with a warm welcome from the owner on our arrival, to when we left the site 4 days later. My wife, myself and the lads had a brill time. The owner showed use were we where to set up our tent and left us to it coming back later to check we where all ok and informed us of the on site facilities, which we found to be more than adequate for all our needs. Local shops only down the road or you have the option of driving to Boston or Skegness within 20 minutes.
With an on site fishing lake that I could fish all day long and play areas for the lads to play in, all our needs where covered.
I would recommend this camping site to anyone with a family looking for a good family holiday

Stayed at lovely Wood Farm for two weeks. One male toilet + one female toilet + one shower but no problems with queues. Nice people the owners. Mark came round every day to see if we were alright. This is a lovely relaxed site with very nice views. Stickney village is only a few miles away as is Sibsey. Skegness and all the fun of Ingoldmells are within easy reach. The Battle of Britain Memorial museum is only about 12 miles away at Coningsby and is a must do if you are in this area.

Two families, two Caravans, Camper Van and a Tent, 2nd year running we have stayed and the experience was a good as the first time.
The site is a credit to the owners Mark & Leigh, who work so hard to make you feel welcome and nothing seems to much trouble. The site is very well maintained and a great place to relax and unwind.
The toilets and shower room are spotless Good fishing and all pitches situated beautifully around the lake. Fire pits and wood supplied for a small fee, great to sit around in the evenings or cook on.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at this lovely little campsite. The owners are very friendly, helpful and cannot do enough for you.
The site was well managed, quiet and a fisherman's dream come true. There are dog walking facilities which are enclosed therefore it is safe for dogs to run free off the lead.
The site is near to Skegness & Boston. The market town of Spilsby is nearby and has lots of nice little shops and pubs (although no pubs in the area serve food until 6pm) Some pubs advertise on the main road as being open then when you plan to go for a meal it turns out they are shut - namely The Red Lion near Stickford.
We would not hesitate to return to this site if the facilities were updated a little. We found one toilet and one shower a little restrictive and often had to queue to wash up at the one sink which couldn't be used if somebody was using the shower! Everything was extremely well maintained and clean.
I would recommend this site if you love a quiet idyllic site with very basic facilities.
