What a fantastic, relaxed, well maintained site. Lovely toilets and shower room. We stayed in our caravan this wk and could not have asked for better. The owners Mark and Leigh were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Good fishing and all pitches situated beautifully around the lake. Local Chinese takeaway delivers to site. Fantastic to find a site that you can have a campfire on. Fire pits supplied for £1. Wood is supplied by Mark for £5 a bag which easily lasts a night. Definitely will be paying another visit.

What a lovely little friendly campsite!
We stayed for 5 nights two adults and 2 children.
As others have said this is a little gem of a campsite. I have never been made to feel so welcome at a campsite by the owners, Mark and Leigh are so friendly.
The tents and caravans are situated around the fishing lake, we had a massive pitch all to ourselves and you felt like all the units had plenty of space on site even at high season. If you fish this is heaven, but if you don't like us, the idyllic and relaxing atmosphere on site is still fantastic. A couple of evening we had a campfire which was lovely.
The toilets (1 each for men and women) 1 shower and the pot washing facilities have rustic charm and are sufficient for a small site.
Whilst we were there we visited Sutton on Sea, Skeggy and Gibralter Point Nature Reserve. We popped over to the small market town of Spilsby where there are a number of shops including Sainsburys, and we drove to Boston and went to Aldi.
I would recommend this site.

We stayed on Wood Farm over the Jubilee weekend for 4 nights and what a lovely site, both Mark and Leigh were the perfect hosts, a lovely quiet get away from it all site, we stayed their with friends we both had 4 year old boys and were made to feel very welcome.
Leigh did inform us that the pitches were next to the lake but for us it wasn't a problem. Their website doesn't do this site justice.
The pitches were huge the facilities were very clean and a fridge, microwave kettle etc in the kitchen/shower area, good area to walk our dog and for the children to bike ride.
If I had to make one criticism it would be the shower was too hot for our little ones as there was no heat control but that is a minor point, there was constant hot water. We will visit again for sure.

Hi my daughter and myself stopped at the site for a spot of fishing and couldn't of been made more welcome
The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the site is well maintained and very clean,
The caravan was grea, and well presented right down to small soap and shower gel to get you started, plus cloths, sponge and tea towel for your washing up and a nice little touch was a little pack of chocolates,
The owners obviously take pride in their site and like to look after those who stay there.
Over all we were very pleased with our stay and if you want a nice quiet friendly place to stop we would recommend it.

Our caravan was excellent, all so good that we're going back in July!
Lovely walks from the site to Stickney (good map provided) and lots of info available re things to do/places to go nearby.
We wanted to go to The Parrot Zoo and Tattershall Castle (both nearby) but both closed so looking forward to that when we go back,
We went to Skegness a couple of times, always good when you have children!

After being let down by another site who cancelled on us a few days before Easter and frantically phoning around many sites, the guys at wood farm took pity on us and agreed to let us use their big field.
There was eight of us in two tents and we had this massive field to ourselves!
We didn't have ehu, but we were allowed to have a nice big camp fire! It was perfect!
We even managed to sneak a bit of fishing in! Though nothing was caught by us!
It's a really small site and the size of facilities reflects this. Though they were really well maintained.
Close to Boston, which is nice for a day out.
Plenty of nice pubs in the surrounding areas.
The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Really helpful.
So being let down by that other site was a blessing in disguise! Can't wait to go back and try to catch some fish!

Just spent a lovely weekend at wood farm as just bought newer caravan, what a real gem of a place, near main road but still nice and peaceful, owners were very helpful and accommodating,
The toilets and shower area spot on, a field for dog walking was handy, we were pitched right next to the fishing lake,
Absolutely lovely, will return again,
If you want to just get away for a quiet break Wood Farm is the ideal place,
Our son loves fishing so he was really delighted with the lake, great weekend

Spent 4 nights in the company of Mark and Leigh and can safely say they work constantly to provide a site that is both friendly and spotlessly clean,
I don't normally do reviews but was so impressed that here I am doing one!
If your looking for wide open spaces, big night skies and a climate more akin to central France (that could be just me coming from MCR) look no further.
With Skegness 20 mins away and lincoln 30 mins there's something for everyone and that includes the roads, fast, open &empty for any bikers out there.
Went home and bought a fire pit the same as on site, all I need now are the surroundings!

Lovely small camp site with large private pitches around the lake all with hook up and an extra field with no electric.
Owners were very helpful and friendly, It was very nice not to have a lot of rules thrust down your throat the minute you get on the site! the firepit/bbq hire and bags of logs were very good value too.
My partner and son fish a little but did not catch anything but we did see some large fish caught including an eel!
Facilities were very clean, the kitchen was small but useful with fridges, microwave and kettle (top freeze boxes for your ice blocks) and nice touches in the female toilet. 2 toilets, 1 each for male and female and 1 shower just off the kitchen. For such a small site this is quite adequate and I never had to queue for the toilet, Occasional queue for the shower.
Spilsby to the north is a lovely little market town with a Co-op and Sainsbury's, plenty of charity shops and other little nice shops and a tackle shop, only went to Boston once but noticed there was a hospital on the way in
The chippy in Stickney only opens certain nights but Spilsby had lots of take-aways!

This is one of those sites that you don't want to tell anyone about! Why? because it is a little gem.
As soon as you arrive you are made to feel welcome, Mark and Leigh are such a friendly hard working couple who have made the site into the best site we have had the pleasure of staying at.
It is well laid out and has the cleanest facilities you will find. The male and female toilets are spotless as is the shower and the campers washing area, which came in handy when I cleaned our Cadac grill. There is also a good area for drying anything that may succumb to the great British weather.
We found the site on UKCampsite.co.uk as we wanted to go fishing in Lincolnshire and reading other reviews we thought we would give this a try. We are so glad we did.
The site is laid out around a well stocked medium sized lake which gave us hours of fishing enjoyment. Fishermen will find it's not the easiest place to fish, their not not throwing themselves on the hook!, but with the landing stages well placed, you can fish without even knowing there are other people there.
Just for the fishing folk, Spilsby and Boston have tackle shops.
Even if your not into fishing the site has much to offer with walks etc, with some good pubs not far away serving good food. Parents be warned that this is an open water site and respect that your children are very close to the waters edge.
Spilsby (out the gate turn right) is only a few miles up the road and for such a small market town has much to offer. Anything from a Sainsbury to high quality takeaways, Indian, Chinese, Italian pizza and also has some great shops in the square.
Skegness is only about 25 minutes if you want the sea.
People we met at the site were all friendly and all agreed what a fantastic place this is and we have already arranged to meet later in the year with two other couples we met there. Although I don't think we can wait that long.
Mark and Leigh keep up the good work and if we were to give any criticism, it would be too many people have found you!
