This is a fabulous site. With good clean facilities. The owners Mark and Leigh make every one feel welcome, and this site has a warm family atmosphere.
The fishing pond is well cared for and you can enjoy a good days fishing.
This site is also close enough to lots of activities and towns to please even my 3 children and that's a feat in itself. Defiantly will return to this site and would recommend it to anyone, with or without children.

Wood Farm is a real gem of a camp site.
This is one of the friendliest campsites we have been on both with other campers and the owners Mark and Leigh. This is a very well kept site, shower and toilets were spotlessly clean.
There are two large fields for the dogs to run free.
There is a small shop in the village about a mile away and a large car boot sale every Saturday.
We had a great week and will be back again would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time away.

Absolutely fantastic as usual - been coming here for years & never disappointed. Fire pits available, logs wheeled to you with a smile (Mark) and squeeky clean facilities (Leigh) that improve at each visit, new electric hook ups too.
The most friendly family with Leigh & Mark at the helm. Fishing is good & all camping is lakeside. Quiet and welcoming with a lovely BBQ area for your personal use, twinkly lights and tea / coffee making facilities.
Good to visit Lincs and Boston or small and friendly villages - however, we go to relax and find everything we need locally. Nearest pub (within walking distance) has excellent food and is just as welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic! 10/10 mark and leigh are very welcoming, very helpful. Both caravans are sited in a lovely position overlooking the lake, very clean and cosy.
Small village a few mins away to get the essentials. Lovely pubs to get a nice but inexpensive meal and drinks. Absolute must if you want a lovely peaceful relaxing time.
Even if you have never been fishing, have a go. I didn't catch a thing but the kids caught plenty. Enjoyed it that much I'm back again this month.
Although we didn't need to use the outdoor facilities I had a peep in and they are spotless too. Leigh definitely gives them a personal touch.

This is a lovely site. Mark and Leigh were very helpful. This whole site is well looked after and very very clean. We were camped right beside the lake which was great for our son who was fishing every day from dawn till dusk. The lake is well stocked with carp, tench, bream etc. there wasnt a day that our son didn't catch.
The site is child and dog friendly. We have 3 dogs and this wasn't a problem with mark and leigh. Even though there is not a shop on site there is a post office in the village that sells everything that we needed. There is also a supermarket in the nearest town which is about 10 min drive away also plenty of take aways if you don't want to cook.
We was only staying for 3days but ended up staying for 7. We will be coming back here again soon.

Only booked for one night but will certainly return. Mark (owner) made us feel very welcome. A peaceful, unspoilt, pretty and well maintained little site with clean toilets and showers. Electric hook ups. We didn't have children with us but dog friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities available which was a nice touch. Fire pit for hire. Fishing lake in centre of site. Didn't really see surrounding area so cant comment. All in all. Lovely

Arrived on Wednesday afternoon to be greeted by Mark, he was great! Showed us to our pitch, even helped move the caravan! Hoped he would help with the awning as well! The pitch was excellent, we could nearly fish from the awning!Would have got even closer if my hook up cable had been longer. Its quiet, the shower and toilets are immaculate, even has a bait fridge. Never really left the site, only had to nip to the new Sainsburys in Spilsby because we forgot the batteries for the remote! Its only about 5 miles away.
The fishing was ok, didn't catch much, but I was happy drowning the maggots!Anglers around me were doing well. There are some good size fish in there somewhere!
Would recommend happily to anyone who just wants peace and quiet.
We will certainly be going back.
Mark and Leigh are lovely, I wish them all the success in the future!

I booked this site as a last minute one night stopover to get to Butlins Skegness early next day with the kids.
Wow, what a fantastic little gem of a site!
The campsite is quite small and secluded and set around the edge of a little fishing lake in the middle which means the view from all the pitches is wonderful.I don't know how many pitches there were but probably only a dozen with a couple of static caravans at one end and we soon felt relaxed and stress free.
There is a kitchen with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely sheltered picnic/BBQ area with straw bales to sit on and fairy lights around at night. There was only one shower and two toilets but I never had to wait for either and they were spotlessly clean.
I would agree that the site was not very toddler friendly as there is a lot of open water but that is not to say the owners were not child friendly. I had 4 Children with me and never felt they were unwelcome despite it being a small quiet site. They were fascinated by the fishing and in fact when we woke up to go to Butlins they were disappointed we were leaving so soon.
I would say it is a fantastic site for fishing or for couples to get away from it all with the most friendly owners I have met in a long while
Many thanks :-)

This site is a little piece of secluded magic surrounded by the vast Lincolnshire landscape. The lake in the middle of the site has plenty of fish to keep the anglers happy and plenty of space around to keep the children happy. Not soon after our arrival (in the almost dark), everyone around pitched in to help us set up. A competitive game of cricket with new friends was played on the adjoining field the next day, children from other tents came along, even the owners joined in!
Wood Farm's owners - Leigh & Mark are superb. They make a supreme effort with all their guests to make sure their stay is relaxing and stress free, nothing is too much trouble.
The facilities are spotless, with constant hot water, fridges, an electric kettle and even tea & coffee if your tea bags are right at the bottom of the last crate in your car!
The village is a short drive away where there is a village shop selling all the bare essentials, a Post Office open for the morning and newspapers. Spilsby, the nearest Market Town is pretty and offers a nice selection of cafes, restaurants and shops to peruse.
Most of all Wood Farm is the perfect place to relax and unwind, you won't be disappointed.

We had a fantastic visit at Wood Farm with a very friendly welcome from Mark and Leigh the owners. We stayed for 4 nights which really wasn't long enough. All the plots surround the small lake in the middle of the site which means you don't have to trek far if you want to fish.
The site is small but has everything a basic camper would need. The site is very clean including the toilets and showers which are cleaned daily. ( The shower in most cases after every use by Leigh )
There's loads to do close to the campsite which Mark and Leigh both seem to be a good source of what's going on around the local area.
We enjoyed the fire pit which most campsites don't allow. Wood is available on the site at a small charge.
We didn't have time to do any fishing in the lake but we witnessed lots of big fish being caught.
We will definitely be going back to Wood Farm as it really is a unique site.
