Visited this site last may 2014, and completely fell in love with the place, so we decided to go again this year with my extended family, as we loved the fishing. I can honestly say this place is beautiful. Leigh and mark are great hosts and owners and ensure everything is OK and you go feeling like that you have known them forever. We stated in a tent with my husband and my daughters whom are 11and 15 and our Labrador tara. We had a blast having proper campfires with toasted marshmellows and singing songs and telling stories along with me 6 year old nephew and his mum and dad whom stayed in a caravan at the side of us. A few changes but not many, the bus which we had the chance to look round mark and Leigh WOW, what an amazing job the have done I looks great and I took lots of pics, which I will send them. It's so peacefully and if you need to chill this is the place. We will defo be back and in the bus. Thanks mark and Leigh for a fab holiday. Yes there is only one toilet block, but to be honest its enough as the site is not huge and most have caravans, the shower and toilets are always clean and tidy and even have extras if you are caught short. Everyone is so chilled that you get on with everyone. The walks are lovely and we called at the local pub that mark suggested a drive round the back which was friendly and a massive plate full of food.
Thanks for a great holiday.

Glad we chose to visit Wood Farm again. We had a lovely time last year, and just as good this year. Although the weather wasn't great, we had a really relaxing time at Wood Farm. As usual, great hospitality all week. Nice to see that the bus is now finished. It looks great! Fishing was hard but if you give it some effort, you'll be rewarded! Thanks again Leigh & Mark. Hope to see you again next year!

Just returned from a week in the Double Decker bus!
OMG you have to try it, 2 adults with our 2 daughters aged 8 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed it, Very Friendly owners leigh and Mark, the fishing was spot on as a carp fisherman I still managed to catch 10 carp, Other campers were friendly and amusing, Good Atmosphere, spotlessly clean, Camp fires as well, Skegness and markets local, Bus was immaculate and all original features maintained, excellent refurbishment, will be coming back again and would definitely recommend to anyone to try the bus, you have to, a once in a lifetime experience.

Lovely friendly place to stay mark went out of his way to make us all feel very welcome and will definitely be going back again next year. Shower and toilets were very clean and tidy there was a fridge even for your fishing bait. A lovely walk walk for walking the dogs and a large field for playing ball games away from the caravans and tents, a very well looked after site couldn't have asked for more.
Thanks mark and leigh for letting us stay

I have just got back from a lovely 12 day stay at wood farm. This is a really lovely site with very welcoming and friendly hosts. Once mark (the owner ) greeted us he escorted us to our pitch and informed us of where everything was and maintained this friendly nature throughout our stay. The site is very very well looked after with very clean facilities. There is a shower/toilet block which also houses a free kettle, microwave and fridge facility where there is also a fishing bait fridge. The site has a beautiful lake which all of the pitches are based around and is very handy for anybody fishing which did seem to be very popular particularly as the fishing is FREE. I fished every day and caught a very good selection of fish. The site also has to rent two statics and a nice converted double decker glamping bus which seemed to be really popular. In the nearby village of Stickney there is a store/post office and a fish and chip shop. The nearest super market is about 5 miles away but on a Saturday -weather permitting there is a huge market /car boot sale in Stickney where you can get just about all you would need food wise. My wife and I have said we do intend making that 185 mile journey again to wood farm as it was such a nice site to stay at.

Just got home from a week at wood farm. Lovely camp site. Very friendly campers. Leigh and Mark look after all the campers. Spotless clean. Only one thing wrong fishing, very poor, a bit of a disappointment. Toilet and shower blocks very clean. Lovely view looking over the lake from your tent. Lovely walks on the fields for our dog.

When we arrived, we were greeted with a cheery wave, a smile and a hello. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Mark, who personally directed us to our pitch. It is, quite literally, at the lakeside! We instantly felt tremendously relaxed. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean. Leigh does a great job! There weren't any nasty smells coming from anywhere, and the shower didn't make us feel that we were on a camp site! There is a Camper's fridge, a bait fridge, a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities available in the washing up area - everything seems to have been well thought out. There were extra toiletries provided - i. E. Hairspray, shower gel and toilet rolls. You don't get that at many other sites (well not the sites that we've visited!) We loved the quiet atmosphere and it does feel as if you can 'get away from it all'. We would definitely go back time and time again - there is certainly a charm about it! Loved every minute of it! Plus there is a village shop about a five minute drive away, so if extra provisions are needed, it's not too far away! All in all, it gets a full 10 out of 10 from us! The sign that hangs up in the kitchen area is quite correct: 'May you arrive as guests, but leave as friends' - that really sums it up!

What can be said about this site that has not already been covered by other reviews? Not a Lot!
For the fishermen/women approx. 3/4 acre lake with lakeside pitches. Lake has Common Carp/Perch/And Loads of Silvers!
On site, bait fridge, fridge, microwave, washing up facilities
Shower. Male and Female toilets(with Toiletries)
Ample room between each unit, so not to over crowd the site.
Mark and Leigh work hard keeping the site running, Leigh spends sooooo much time cleaning and Mark always comes around to make sure you are okay.
Location: Skegness 15/20 miles away
Boston 10 miles away
Spilsby 7 miles away
Stickney car boot every Saturday. BIG!
A charming site with great hosts. We will Return.
Also forgot to say. If you like Glamping they also have a Double Decker Bus that they hire out (its BRILLIANT)!
And Static caravans!
Forgot to say. FREE Fishing!
