What a great site, good flat pitches mostly round a well stocked lake. Our party was four caravans eight adults two children and four dogs.
Our caravan was in the field with no hook up electric but, plenty of space, this is where 12volt comes in handy. The owners Leigh and Mark made us all very welcome and made sure that they spoke to us all, nothing was too much trouble.
The showers and toilets were very clean, cleaned more than once a day, they even kept a few essentials for sale if you forgot something. The dog exercise field is big and is part of a good walk around the site.
The village is nearby so are a couple of pubs and small shops. The only down side was we only had two nights, next time were having more. You have to watch for the entrance it's on a bend. But, there is a big car boot on Saturday.

Just wonderful. Small and friendly site, mainly round a small fishing lake. Peaceful and relaxing. Mark and Leigh were brilliant and helped out on a couple of occasions when help was needed. There is a large field where we pitched our tent, it was flat and there was a water tap by the gate back into the 'Lake area field' There is a large fire pit at one side of the field, which others camped round and used.
There is just one male and one female toilet, and one shower, which is just inside a small kitchen area. There is a fridge with a small freezer where you can re freeze your ice packs, ideal for campers. Others have mentioned the facilities, and they ARE fab. Clean and tidy at all times. We never had to queue. You can hire a BBQ if you want.
If you fancy good fish and chips, the shop in the village is wonderful. The chips were really nice. The pub in the village appeared closed, but we were advised that someone has bought it, so hopefully that will be open soon. There is a small shop in the village, and Boston isnt too far away. We took all we needed for a weekend, and just went walking with out dogs.

Had 4 lovely days at Wood Farm last week and feel like we've found a site we will return to again & again.
As it's early on, the campsite was not very busy & we almost had the use of the facilities to ourselves. They were all really well kept & clean. Plenty of loo roll in toilets, fresh hand towels everyday and little personal touches like hand lotion, ear buds - nice!
Plenty of hot water for washing & showering and the use of fridge for not only food but a separate one for fishing bait which I thought was good! Also kettle, microwave etc which made me wonder why I'd packed the camping stove & kettle!
The owner of the site was lovely - popped by for a chat most days and made us feel like there was someone on hand if you needed anything.
My husband enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed the relaxation. Plenty of room for kiddies to run about & my daughter loved the fact that there was a seating area made of straw(!), pretty little fairy lights that made night time trips to toilet magical and a couple of ducks on hand to feed!
Everyone we meet at the site was really friendly with most people we spoke to being repeat guests which I think says it all.
Well done guys - thanks for a lovely break!

My wife booked a long weekend in a static caravan for me and my brother in law at this lovely site. We are both fishermen and the lake is a very nice place to fish. The condition of all the fish we caught was excellent, the owner made us feel very welcome and popped over for a chat at least once a day. The static caravan was in excellent condition, it was spotlessly clean, basically if you want an excellent, peaceful and relaxing break then this is the place for you. Lastly visit the site in April/May like we did as we had the lake to ourselves for three days.
We will be back as soon as we can.

Site is small, about a dozen pitches, but beautifully sited around a lake.
We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it.
we would have stayed longer but they were full.
The owners Mark and his wife were very friendly and helpful. We will return.
The fishing is free and was reasonably good.Thre is a pub in the village that sells real ale and is is well kept.We cant comment on the toilet block, because we didn't use it.
only criticism is that the entrance is right on a blind bend and is not very well signposted

We stayed at the campsite the first week of the school holidays, it was our first week in our caravan having owned a trailer tent before.
Our party consisted of me my wife my son adam( 14)and our dog tillie. Firstly can I say what a great couple Mark and Leigh are, very friendly, relaxed and always had time to come round and chat.
The toilet and shower where fine and always clean it was great to have a fridge freezer to put your bait/tins of beer in.
The site was very quiet but if you wanted to have a ride out Skegness, ingoldmells and chapel st leonards where not far.
The fishing was great even though I never caught the really big ones, plenty of 2to4lb carp and some tench, adam had great fun pole fishing and my wife Sandra caught her first carp too.

The owners are absolutely lovely and so helpful and friendly. Gave us great tips on where to go etc.
We only stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed for a lot longer.
Poshest camp loos that I have ever seen with nice touches such as make-up wipes, hand cream, cotton buds etc.
Another lovely touch is the kitchen with fridge, kettle etc.
Fresh eggs on sale.
Quite a major negative is that there is only one shower. A second really would be a good addition.
We will definitely go back if in the area again.

Very friendly small site, clean with good attention to detail. We only stayed one night enroute north. Mark the owner was very helpful and made a point of coming over for a chat after we had set up. The fishing was good and easy and the place was pretty and picturesque. There was only one shower but for the size of the site, it was more than adequate. There is a small kitchen next to the shower that is well equipped and would be very handy if you were in a tent.

We stayed at this lovely little site for 2 nights in early July. The site is spotless and very well run by the owners Mark & Leigh. These two have created a little gem of a site by taking the time to meet and speak with all their guests.
We rented a fire pit with logs for the 2 nights and as it was a little windy, Mark even went and got an old wind break for us free of charge. It is the little things which leave you with such a positive impression of the site.
The site has a single shower and then separate male toilet and female toilet. All facilities were spotlessly clean. Adjoining the toilet block is a covered area that has hay bales and fairy lights which you can use if the weather is inclement.
The main field is approximately the size of a football pitch with a large reed lined pond in the middle. Each pitch has a lakeside pitch which is obviously very popular with fishermen.
The only annoyance during our stay (and not related to the site) was the fishermen using audio sensors attached to their rods. The constant beeping as the lines were reset after each cast was enough to make you want to ram their keep net where the sun don't shine :-). We did venture to skegness for an hour or 2 but were happy just to sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
10 out of 10. I would recommend this site unreservedly to anyone thinking of going.

Wood Farm is a small, privately run grassy site built around a well stocked fishing pond.
We received a very warm welcome. Leigh greeted us and was was very friendly and laid back. We enjoyed 3 nights there basking in the peace and quiet and the abundant wildlife.
Both Leigh and Mark make a big effort to welcome their visitors. The toilet/ shower facilities were always pristine and there is much attention to detail. A fridge and washing up area is provided, but no laundry.
They offer fishing lessons, a BBQ, fire pits and logs and free range eggs.
There is a large field behind the camping area which is ideal for ball games. The camping area is right beside the fishing pond which might prove a worry with young children.
The village of Stickney provides a small and rather basic shop and a very friendly local pub, The Rising Sun, within a mile. Food served Wed - Sat.
All in all it was a very pleasant camping experience.
