Beautiful village this site is on the edge of the village 10 minutes to walk to the shops. On approach to the site slow down or you will miss the entrance ( needs more signs). Friendly staff greet you and give you a map to show we're you are unless you have picked your own pitch. You need to leave £10 for your fob key this works barrier and to get into the toilet block. The pitches are at a large size giving you plenty of room to park your car at the side of motor home or caravan. Most pitches are service pitches which is great if your in a caravan no filling your water tubs up. We have been coming here for many years as a family for the great location and fantastic walks straight from the site. We've seen lots of changes specially with the standard of the toilet block used to think it was a 5* one but sadly no more. The cleanliness of the block has gone down hill ok after they've cleaned it it smells nice of disinfectant but that's it, cleaning skills not very good, did see the young lad one morning rinse down and squeegee down. They need a good clean with a mop, into the corners window ledges full of cobwebs and died flys the look like they've been there years. Soap dispensers are to low what just leak all over counter tops. Disabled room should be on different entrance key like a radar key because everyone is using that one, watched a poor disabled man having to wait to use this room just because a bloke was in using it.

Stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is just on the outskirts of Woodhall Spa, the entrance isn't we'll signposted, you could easily miss it.
Check in was super fast as we had paid in advance, the wardens were very friendly. You pay £10 deposit for a fob that works the security barrier and also allows access to the showers. The fob is quite small, so carry needs to be taken not to lose it.
Our pitch was huge, with more than enough room for car, van and awning. The other pitches appeared to be equally generous. The site gives you an hour's free WiFi per day, an excellent idea. Other sites should take note. Extra WiFi time can get purchased online and there is discount if multiple devices are signed up at the same time. Another excellent idea.
There may be some noise from the nearby RAF bases, although we regarded this as a positive rather than a negative and were lucky enough to see a Hurricane fly over.
Lots of wildlife to see around the site, there's also fishing to be had on site as well.
Plenty to do locally, Woodhall Spa is about a mile away, the chippy is fantastic and the bakery in town sells scrummy cakes. The Battle of Britain memorial flight is based at nearby RAF Conningsby, Tattershall Castle us also close by. A little further afield is the lovely city of Lincoln and if you fancy a visit to the seaside, Skegness isn't too far away either.
Any negatives? All I can think of is that there isn't a one way system around the site, we saw a few potential jams. And, the showers didn't have individual stalls for sinks to brush your teeth and shave. But that's just personal preference.
Top notch site, we'll definitely be back.

Stayed at Woodhall Country Spa for 4 nights in April along with my daughter and family in their caravan. When they say 5 star this is as good as it gets. The fully serviced hard standing pitch we where allocated was very large with everything at hand on hook up post.
The site is beautifully designed and managed and the staff were very helpful. The wildlife was wonderful and plentiful amidst this tranquil setting and the fishing lakes are really first class.
This is certainly a class site with showers and toilets that would be at home in a good hotel.
Looking forward to visiting again.

We stayed over just a weekend and found the site quite for the time of year. As it had been raining a lot before we got there so the land around the site waterlogged but the pitch was fine.
The main toilet block was locked up and was left to use the disabled toilet so there was not enough for the amount staying that weekend. The site was clean for the time of year.
Would stay again but later in the year.

We stayed here due to 2 for 1 night special offer. We nearly missed the entrance as there are no signs a you approach. Check in was easy and we were told were our pitch was. The pitch was hard standing and big enough for an awning and a car. The water and electric supply are under a cover and the is a drain for your general waste pipe. The toilet and shower block was warm and brightly lit, you have a fob to get into the shower block but it was left unlocked all weekend. It is a big site in several sections which are separated by trees. There are 3 fishing ponds but it was difficult to get to 2 of them due to ground work for 6 new statics, the ground was very muddy and there are no car parks near the ponds so was quite a walk with your tackle, it is £5 per day to fish. I went to reception on the Saturday morning for a paper only to find that you are supposed to order them the day before, this was not advised when checking in. Cars are not allowed on to the site after 11pm but we heard several cars coming in late at night. Woodhall Spa is about 10 minutes walk with several small shops and cafes. Tattersall and Horncastle are a short drive away. Although we enjoyed our stay I don't think we will be returning.

There were four of us in two caravans and we all agree to the following.
What a fantastic site. Spotless modern toilet / shower blocks. Large well spaced out serviced hard standing pitches in a quiet and beautiful setting. Site is quite big so lots of little walks to explore and look out for the wildlife.
The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Always had time for a chat. Other people staying were friendly.
Do not usually think about going back to a site (because there are so many) but will definitely look to go back next year.
Places to visit, Conningsby airfield for the BBMF and the Typhoon's, everyone mentioned the deli in Woodhall Spa and yes you must !
Tattershall castle, and its only about 45 minutes to Skegness or Lincoln.
We ran out of time !
Our only concern is they plan to put wooden lodges on the football pitch which would spoil the view for a lot of the caravans and in our opinion spoil a great site. Don't do it !

Well having read the reviews before going we thought the site was going to be at worst a reasonable site to spend our August Bank Holiday, how wrong were we, it was an excellent site great location, very surprised with Woodhall Spa as a whole. The reception was first class and trouble free, even though the staff were obviously busy, the facilities were regularly cleaned and well maintained, and as for everything in one place plenty of walking within the sites boundary, wildlife to watch and fishing lakes, and added bonus a pub that served reasonably priced good quality food right over the the fence. Would we go back yes definitely

Very easy to book, you can do it over the phone or on line, we made a phone call and chatted to a very nice lady. The site itself is about 1/2 a mile from the centre of Woodhall Spa, we missed the entrance as it's not well sign posted. Luckily there was a turning space not too far away and a couple of other people missed the entrance as well, so it's not just us.
Booking in was very quick and efficient, you need to pay a £10 deposit for the barrier key, which also operates the doors to the showers. The shop has basic supplies and newspapers cab be ordered in too.
Didn't get much of a chance to explore the sites, it accepts both caravans and tents, the caravan pitches all appear to be hardstanding. The pitches are separated by small bushes, which in years to come, will provide a deal of privacy. We chose a serviced pitch that includes hook up, tv point, a drain and water point nearby. Wifi is available as well, the first hour is free and then you pay either by card or paypal.
The showers were very clean and modern, and are push button operated. They didn't stay on for very long and didn't drain very well. A pool of water spread out into the area where you might place your clothes. Fortunately I had put mine on the stool so they stayed dry. The site has 3 toilet blocks, the one we used was quite small, it might cause queues at busy periods. Especially as the park has plans to expand next year.
Fishing and bike hire are available, although we didn't use these facilities. There is also a pub a short walk away as well.
Woodhall Spa has a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an interesting WW2 trail, there is also a memorial garden to 617 sqdn, the famous Dam Busters. Tattershall castle is a great place to explore and perfect for a picnic on a nice day. RAF Coningsby is only 10 mins away and is home to the Battle of Britain memorial flight. Guided tours are available and very interesting. There can be some noise from the RAF, but we actually quite enjoyed running out the van to try to spot them.
Horncastle is about 7 miles away and has a larger selection of shops, the chippy on tge market place was very nice. However we made the mistake of parking in Tesco, it was a nightmare to get out of.
The east coast is around 30 minutes away and offers all the usual seaside attractions. Lincoln is some 17 miles away and is a very nice place to visit, with the cathedral being top of most people's list.

We stayed for three days on plot 67 superb in a nutshell. Close to the lakes, good view, friendly staff, very clean facilities, close walk to village, good eating at the Lancaster pub, wardens very knowledgable regarding the local area. Will we visit again of course we will. Keep up the good work which was very much appreciated.

This is a new site for us. Very pleasant welcome from the warden on duty and clear instructions given to find our chosen pitch.
The pitches are pretty level although some might find levelling blocks useful. The site is generally lightly wooded with tall pines giving some shade.
The modern, light and airy toilet blocks were thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis but (at the weekend in particular) did suffer some user abuse and, despite warden requests, guests seemed to see it as a challenge to find shortest route to get to them even if this was through someone else's pitch.
Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and a great source of local knowledge such as the local RAF airfields, the lovely Village Limits Public House literally next door to the site. Dont even have to use the road as there is a grassy footpath from nearby the reception.
A North Point on the Web Map of the site would be a useful addition for choosing a pitch.
