Well run site with good facilities.
You can walk into Woodhall Spa but it may be too far to walk back after an evening meal. The pub next to the site The Village Limit is excellent but a little pricey, ok for a special occasion. We like the fully serviced pitches.
We have recommended this site to friends.

We visited the site when the weather for the time of year was brilliant. In view of this we requested a pitch in an open area as a lot of the pitches are in wooded areas and are shaded. We were allocated pitch 62. Ideal pitch, nice and open, fully serviced and near one of the lakes. Two toilet blocks in the area, one of which was closed due to quiet season. The majority of caravans on the site were seasonal and therefore there were not many people on site. Nice area and we enjoyed our cycling and walking but for Motorhomes there are nearer sites to the town Upon saying this I can not fault this site in any way

Second visit this year. Stunning site set in woodland. Excellent toilet and shower blocks. Wardens patrolling round most of the time in case of problems. Pub next door called the Village Limits that have an excellent restaurant. Can walk into Woodhall Spa via path way through woods if you feel energetic. This visit was specifically for the Woodhall Spa 40's weekend. Lots to do and see. Many people dressed up in 40's clothing. Classic cars and war time vehicles and many stalls selling memorabilia. Excellent weekend already booked for next year.

We chose to stay here as it seemed the best site for its location, not too far from Lincoln, where my husband was working for a few days, and the fact that it was around ten minutes walking distance to Woodhall Spa for the times when he was not there so no car!
We were a party of two adults and three teenagers from 14 to 16 years, plus dog. We chose to stay on a tent pitch with ehu. Prices we felt were reasonable considering the facilities and location.
Lovely attractive site with lots of trees and wildlife, friendly welcome from the staff and very well kept, without seeming too regimented, great facilities, modern and clean showers and toilets. Freezing facilities and a food prep area with microwave was a great facility too, and a laundry, although we did not use this.
Our son really enjoyed the fishing lakes, and we all (especially the dog) liked the walks around the site as well as a very pleasant wooded walk into Woodhall Spa where as well as a good sized Budgens, there were really nice little shops, I particularly recommend the butchers, nice burgers and sausages, and one night we treated ourselves to a delicious Indian takeaway from 'India Village' to celebrate my daughter's friend's birthday, highly rated indeed by us all.
We stayed on pitch 13, which was in a slightly more open area than some, but still with quite a lot of trees around, a slight slope to the front of it, but not a problem for us, we were the only tent on a row of four for most of our stay, and this also had a nice outlook on to trees and fields, and was very peaceful.
We had good weather mostly, but when it did rain there were a fair few boggy puddles on the grassed tent area, which I would not have wanted to be pitched on, luckily we were pitched just behind them.
The pitches were certainly big enough, 7m x 7m, plenty of space for our Cabanon Espace 8 at 5m wide and 5, 75m deep.
I only have one gripe, and that is the distance between pitches, only two metres seems very little for fire safety, we heard the warden telling a group of three tents on the non electric area to keep 2m apart for that reason.
Because cars are parked just across the way from the tents, (fine by us had there been more space in between) you can't even create a feeling of separation from the next pitch by parking the car in between, and when the next pitch to us became occupied, we felt it was too close for comfort, and would have appreciated at least a couple more metres separation, we could even hear them turn over in bed and all their conversations (they were certainly not noisy neighbours either) which did not give any of us much privacy at all, and sitting and eating outside the front of our tent only about 8 feet away from the next family did feel a bit claustrophobic, had the pitch the other side been occupied too, this really would have felt too close for comfort.
Although I would go back to the site as the positives were so many, it really was the only issue that would make me think twice about returning, I would select carefully which pitch I would go for (you can select online when booking, the availability comes up for you to choose).
The other ehu tent pitches in a different area were not in rows, so seemed to be a bit more dotted about and therefore more spaced away from each other and appeared less crowded.
All in all, a very nice stay, and a lovely site, and would go back, lots to see in the area, but we would choose our pitch carefully.

This place is a small part of heaven, stunning, the shower blocks were spotless, the staff are very helpful infact so helpful that they reversed our tourer onto our pitch (We have only been touring this year and have not quite got reversing)Thank-you Peter
Our 10 year old and 4 year old loved this site the lakes are far enough away from the caravans not to cause even the smallest worry for the kids
So all in all ten out of ten
We will be visiting again very soon

Set in a wooded area many pitches can be shaded but all are fully serviced and make for an easy going stay. There are fishing ponds and this is all kept as a wildlife conservation area, nice for the twitchers and viewing areas are provided. The Shower blocks are immaculate and look brand new despite being over 2 years old now. Great location if you like being under the trees. They are also introducing Wood cabin type pods for the adventurous. No statics on site but some permanent pitches evident. Would go again.

Stayed for a hot and sunny weekend and had a lovely time. Pitch 3, under the trees. Plenty of space, EHU are a bit of a stretch, but just reached. On arrival toilet lock was spotless, personally I think it needed more looking after on the Saturday, as it got quite grubby and I ad to find a warden to tell him there was no loo roll left in any cubical. Lovely walk into woodhall along a track through a field, handy for Jubilee park, but couldn't get in the pool as the queue was huge. Silent at night, nice campers. Handy to know that there is a food prep room in one of the blocks which has a freezer to referee ice packs. Only downside would be the playing field could do with clearing a bit better, grass very long and stony. All staff friendly, other than one older lady who was grumpy when I first rang, and when I checked out, taking my dog into reception to return the barrier key, having not spotted the no dogs sign, oops. Maybe the heat had got to her, but cheer up woman!

We stayed here for 2 nights but wished it was for longer. A real gem of a site situated a very short walk from the gorgeous town of Woodhall Spa. Facilities were very clean and tidy, as were the grounds in general. A multitude of things to do in this area, we as cyclists were in heaven. Restaurants are in abundance and we particularly enjoyed the Lancaster Brasserie which served excellent food and beers. We will be back soon and highly recommend it.

We came from a very small CS site which was very quiet with few children, there were a lot of children on this site although mostly behaved. Our nearest toilet block was close to tent area which was full and so the cleanliness suffered as a result especially on wet days. The other toilet block we used was much cleaner but further away.
Fishing was varied and affected by noisy children and people feeding the multitude of geese which appear to be resident although harmless if left to their own devices. Caught carp of 6lb and 3. 5lb but heard of a few slightly larger ones caught while we were there. The Lakes could do with some landscaping/maintenance as they were a bit featureless; or in one case very overgrown.
Plenty to do in local area if you like walking/cycling/planes and Lincoln is not too far away. Didn't eat out but the chip shop in Woodhall Spa was excellent.

Wanted a good, solid campsite, close to home for a one night trip with the children. Our party is two adults & two children aged six & two. This site fitted the bill.
we were greeted by a lady at reception that was, shall we say, grumpy & very straight to the point, lacking personality. We we're shown to our pitch, which was under some tree's (which is fine by me), right near the cow field (again, this was fine as the children love animals).
The pitch was very uneven & no grass was left so we we're pitching on this horrible, dusty, mud/soil (not great for the tent).
The facilities we're great, very nice shower block, nearing luxury for a campsite, very nice showers & toilets, which you had a key fob for (£10 deposit), however, it was always open & unlocked.
It had a nice little shop, which sold a few items like beans, drinks & a handful of camping/caravan items which you may need.
Nice little pond to have a walk around.
I felt, due to the pitch we & a few of our neighbors had, the fee was very steep & because of the fee alone, we will more than likely not be returning. It is however a good site & if fee isn't a problem for you, then I'd certainly consider it.
Nice, quiet site, lovely facilities but fairly costly.
