We were disappointed with this site as it did not live up to its AA rating. While the woodland setting was pleasant the pitches were very close together. As with a previous review the ladies toilet door lock was still broken and the hairdryers were still not working and the soap was often all over the sinks, this may have been due to unsupervised children being able to enter at will due to broken lock.
What really spoilt it for us was the families in the Sky Lodges using our pitch as a cut through to the toilets and then to play hide & seek with our van often bumping into it. Then to be woken the next morning by the adults having a conversation inches from our windows. We also noticed a caravan with two cars on the pitch which was against the rules of the park and what looked like travellers on arriving
Needless to say we won't be back. Woodhall Spa town is lovely and worth visiting and we will return but to a different site.

Been here many times over the years we hadn't any faults with the site over the years but this time I wasn't happy. Spent a week here in the ladies toilet I noticed one of soap dispenser was empty I left it for two days also one of the driers wasn't working. I mentioned it to the ladies we check them well you haven't for two days her face was like thunder she might not like been told that she doesn't do her job properly. This site is in a lovely location in a beautiful village. Recommend the bakery lovely bread and cakes, and the friendly butches next to the pub. Dogs love the woods you can walk into Horncastle mostly with no leads about 7 mile. The site has 3 ponds the 2 together are a bit plane no pond plants anything looks like its been finished of yet. We will go again hopefully better next time

Booked for six nights and a smashing site. All fully serviced, ehu, water, waste and tv aerial. Gravel pitches, bit hard for awning pegs. Clean showers and toilets, no problems with the key fob, though sometimes the door was already open. Good service at reception, clear instructions to our pitch and didn't feel rushed to leave.
Site is very pretty, two lakes with plenty of wildlife, Also very clean, didn't see any litter around. Easy walk into Woodhall Spa, Kinema in the woods, the Viking trail. Handy for Lincoln, Coningsby and Battle of Britain Memorial flight, which we were lucky to see take off, and fly past.
We hope to return

Excellent campsite near the small town of Woodhall Spa. A fairly new toilet/shower/wash-up facility kept immaculately clean. The site has a public heated swimming pool and the surrounding area is very pleasant countryside. Woodhall Spa is a lovely old spa town with numerous shops, a good pub and fish & chips shop. It is in very easy walking distance of the site. Freeview TV reception is excellent and there are easy cycling routes nearby.

This is a great site.
Located just outside Woodhall Spar which itself is a lovely little village/town.
The village has the best Deli I've even shopped in!
Lots of walks from the site.
The site has fishing which my husband liked although he never caught anything. The site itself is well set out with very clean toilets and showers. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
There is a pub next door to the site which serves good food but is not dog friendly unfortunately. You could eat in the beer garden if the weather allowed.
Have visited this site twice and will return again.

This was our second visit to this site. The grounds are really well kept and the toilet and shower facilities were as always immaculate. Woodhall Spa is a short walk or pleasant cycle ride away and has an array of shops and restaurants.
The site has expanded since our last visit which is good and further expansion is planned. However, so far there has been no additional facilities blocks built which sometimes leads to congestion even on a less than full site. This is the only thing that needs some attention.

We only started caravanning this year, and this was the first park we stayed on, (after riding around to look at a few sites, and then checking out reviews), and what a great first experience it was!
We chose a fully serviced pitch close to the toilet block because Husband is disabled. The site is very well maintained, with easy access to good sized pitches. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean with access via the same key fob for the park entrance/exit barrier.
Site is located within 1. 5 miles from the centre of Woodhall Spa, - close enough for a wander to the local shops but far enough away for the park to be quiet and peaceful. It is surrounded by trees, but not so many that you can't see the skies. Two fishing lakes on site and a newly constructed children's wooden play area with dog walking area close by.
The reception also houses a small shop to stock up on those essentials that you forget to pack, as well as ordering daily papers and fresh bread.
All staff members we met were polite, friendly and approachable. The grounds men even asked if we minded them cutting the grass near our pitch while we were there, rather than just carrying on regardless, which we thought was very considerate. All in all a lovely peaceful site, with good clean, well maintained facilities that we would like to return to again.

This a lovely, we'll kept and clean campsite in beautiful quiet surroundings which is only minutes away from Woodhall Spa town centre.
All pitches are plenty big enough with hard standing and water and drainage on pitch. Even though it rained a lot whilst we were there we had no problem as it all drained away nicely due to the hard standing pitch. The park has obviously spent a lot of money on this which has been money well spent.
The toilet block is key fob entry (same for barrier entrance) this was a pain when you forgot it and had to walk back to the caravan to get it however these toilet/shower block are probably the best we have been in. It was £10 deposit for the key fob and your not limited to just 1 but it is £10 for each 1 you have. We had 3 teenagers with us so I purchased 2!
My partner and son both fished in 1 of the 3 lakes, even in the rain, they both caught and fishing is only for those on site.
The wardens work extremely hard to keep this park to its 5 star standard. I would definitely recommend a visit. In its tranquil surroundings but only minutes away from Jubilee park swimming pool, kinema in the woods cinema and the local shops and pubs it is the perfect site for families and couples. There is no park on site for the kids however when you have the outdoors as a playground and other facilities within walking distance who needs a climbing frame and a swing! We did walk into Woodhall town centre and only took about 10-15 minutes but that was at a leisurely pace. Due to the rain we didn't visit Jubilee park and it's outdoor swimming pool however we have been in the past when the weather was hotter and found it to be lovely but could get very busy! We did visit kinema in the woods, a lovely old cinema, I would recommend you go early if it's a popular film and raining!
We will definitely be visiting this campsite again.

Stayed here for 6 nights in November. Checking in friendly and recommended pitches by toilet block due to limited mobility, but no-one mentioned that the toilet block boiler would be roaring away from early evening through most of the night. It was like being next to a factory. The toilet block was new and well-laid out but only cleaned once while we were there, although they could have been checked I suppose. There were very few folk on site. Beware the pressure on the taps! you get soaked while cleaning your teeth. The hot taps are gentler. The showers are operated by push-button and the shortest time ever between pushes - approx 8 secs. Water pressure not great on these and the temperature varied greatly within each 8 secs (even if you kept the button pressed in). Varying from cold to warm all the time. The door to the ladies is very heavily sprung so beside hard to open be careful you don't get very walloped when leaving.
On the last morning we were there we used the washing machine and it had 5 mins left to the end (there is a display) but one of the staff put a load of their clothes in the dryer for 90 minutes! How customer-friendly is that? The machine we were using was the only one on site so they had brought their wet clothes in and just 'jumped in'. Very unimpressed really by the whole experience

We have just spent a long weekend here, before the season ended. Nice well run site ample if not massive pitch sizes all full serviced which are all gravel (I never drove on grass once whilst on the site) which was great regarding the October weather.
£10 deposit for security key is required, this dose the barrier, toilets/ showers etc.
We look forward to returning to this site if we are ever over this are again, despite no play area for the kids ours found loads to do and was never bored whilst on site. Just down the road ( left out of site and then second left) down a small tight country road you will find KINEMA in the woods a real blast from the past cinema showing all the most recent films, just check show times.
Our only gripe with the site was times ! by this I mean we HAD to be on site before 8pm, (which we tried our utmost to do but 2. 5hours travelling is 2. 5hrs travelling + rush hour??) we arrived before 8pm to find a note on the reception door to report to wardens pitch. Given the time of year this was not a surprise as I am sure things are winding down for the end of season, but if that's the case why have we GOT TO BE OFF SITE AT 12 NOON sharp !
Our friends who was staying with us experienced the same ushering ??
