Yet another stay at one of our favourite sites.
A peaceful few days in a beautiful setting to catch the first of the good weekends and to witness the Dambusters commemoration ceremony.
The wardens who looked after the site in previous times had left and the customary high standards of the facilities had slipped somewhat. I'm sure the new staff will address any issues once they've had time to settle in.
A lovely weekend with one reservation: a walk across to the lakes was marred by having to negotiate a path through the masses of goose droppings.

Spent 5 nights here.
On arrival we were shown where to pitch and given an entry fob.
The pitch was fully serviced as they all are and hardstanding.
The toilet block was very clean and warm, a necessity in the cold temps!
The wardens were very helpful with regards to cycle routes and info regarding the on site fishing lakes.
There is a large open space for children but no playground as such.
A lovely peaceful site, very close to Woodall Spa, which has a fabulous bakery. Beware you will end up buying more than you need and its delicious! The chip shop was excellent also!
Would return if we were touring in the area again

Just had 2 nights and lucky us weather was great. The site is well laid out with full serviced facility's and so great value. Shower block is nice and warm however a bug bear is having to keep pressing the tap to keep water flowing a bit longer on the timer would make a much more pleasant experience as one handed washing isn't easy. The site is perfect for bird watches even if your not a natural twitcher there is a great variety to see especially early morning the owl was a special treet. Pub next door and an even better one at Kirkby on Bain the ebbrington arms excellent food. Woodhall is so nice and clean and still has an Edwardian charm with some excellent restaurants and cafes and walking in near by forests is a must do. So a very good site in great location for us we would give 4 stars due to lack of wifi and a proper children's play area however we will be going back shortly, please get wifi so we can get on Facebook and recommend you.

This is a great friendly site perfect for fishing walking cycling and wildlife. The owners are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We can recommend the Indian village restaurant in the town, the service and food were excellent and also the Chinese takeaway Golden phoenix.
The toilets & showers are spotless and have underfloor heating. The pitches are spacious and you have your own water waste and TV ariel socket if required. TV signal is very good.
There are many walks and cycle trails to enjoy far too many for our short stay. We cycled part of the Viking way which was very pretty and you can walk into the village via a footpath straight outside the site that runs next to the golf course. (Nice but muddy in March).
The highlight of the weekend for me was the visit from the local Barn Owl he flew around the fishing lakes and trees surrounding the site before landing in a tree opposite us.
This is a lovely site in a great location and will appeal to anyone who loves the great outdoors. I have not rated the child friendliness as we did not take children.

This is a top site with all the facilities you need for a comfortable hassle free break away from it all The staff are very friendly and every caravan pitch has full services. Location is great with a chance to see many forms of wildlife, with regular events on various nature themes organised by the park itself. The small on-site shop sells a few basics and you can order a daily paper. There is also cycle hire on site The local pub is only 200 yards away The village of woodhall spa is nearby with shops to suit everyone. This site isnt really equipped for young children with no play area, but lots of open space and several walks Fishing is also available with the park having 3 lakes within its grounds.

Just return from a very hot weekend at woodhall country park. This is in an ideal location just outside woodhall spa within walking distance of all the towns facilities.
The site looks fairly new and certainly looks well presented and facilities adequate. The site is located in an area of woodland. Very beautiful area. We were very impressed
A warm welcome greeted us on arrival and we were escorted to our spacious pitch. We were staying with an other couple who were camping in tents rather than the caravan but were able to pitch directly beind us. After being given a brief explanation of the rules and main parts of the site we set up within no time to enjoy the fantastic weather.
Pitches were huge and fully serviced. Drain located in the centre of the pitch which was great. Our hose for water was stretched to the limit but we managed. Something to watch for though if you use a mains water connection
Bins were well positioned and 3 toilet blocks served the site with a small shop in reception.
Toilets were very modern looking and first thing in a morning looked the business but soon became rather run down due to lack of respect from other campers and caravanners. The positioning of soap dispensers and hand dryers was a bit obscure in that it was very difficult to get hands underneath to dispense soap ( if the site owners read this please do something about it) whilst the showers were very powerful I did find them very hot and water flooded out each time the shower was used. Squeegees were there but our disrespectful fellow campers simply couldn't
Overall a lovely weekend on a lovely site. Would we return. Probably yes, but outside school holidays for a bit of peace and quiet.

Have just come back from this site after a week of pure relaxation, wow what a site this is a little jewel in lincolnshire.
It is in easy walking distance of woodhall town centre even for the not so agile, there isn't much on site to entertain children ie parks etc. But the kids on site seemed to enjoy the log and string that you could swing over the dyke on.
Showers were clean, services were excellent, we had great weather and hope to go back next year.

Just stayed one night on this peaceful rural site, wish we could have stayed longer.
The pitches are nicely spaced and set among trees.
The facilities are clean and hot water plentiful.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The welcoming reception doubles as a small shop and information centre.
There is a pub within walking distance on a well identified footpath. Woodall Spa is about a mile away with a few small shops, pubs & tea shops.
The local takeaway pizza shop will deliver to the entrance and a menu is available at reception.
We enjoyed our stay and will return soon.

We stayed in a camping pod with our 2 grandchildren for a 2 night weekend break. Toilets and showers were excellent, very useful family shower room, and lovely indoor washing up facilities.
Easy access and easy walking distance to shops, park and swimming pool. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Lots of woodland walks directly from the site, (we need to go back to explore more. )
Went to the Kinema, really lovely old fashioned with comfortable seats, well worth a visit. Also visit the cottage museum and tourist information office, very informed staff.

When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilet block was clean, the washing area was clean, only spent 2 nights there so we didn't use laundrette.
Lots of walks in the area, shops, pubs are in walking distance. There is a play area for children but no play park. Lots of wildlife in the immediate area.
Park itself was set in a peaceful scenic area. We went to the BBMF museum, and Tattershall Castle, the views from the Castle are amazing. The Museum was enjoyable, and informative.
