We stayed for 4 nights and loved this site.
The cliff top setting is dramatic, having sweeping views out to sea on the south and rolling downs to the north. Its a location that is close to nature, unspoilt by any busy roads or buildings. Access to the beach is an easy scramble down to the quiet mixed pebble and sand below.
The shop on site has most provisions and great fresh bread and croissants. Brightstone village is less than a mile away with a general store and bus connections to the rest of the island. Alternatively the circular open top 'Breezer' route stops outside the entrance to the site, but only twice a day in each direction.
Site facilities are simple, but with enough capacity and spotlessly clean. There are lots of cute farmyard animals and a play park to entertain the children.
To cap it all, the owners and staff are super friendly and really go the extra mile to please their customers. We really did appreciate their help.
This site met our needs as a memorable base to explore the island. We will return and would recommend to others.
We'd also recommend both of the local pubs (Three Bishops and Wight Mouse) pubs for food - and the coasteering activity at Freshwater.

My husband and I stayed on this lovely campsite for 6 nights in our motorhome.
We had a pitch right by the cliff top with lovely views. You can choose where you pitch which we thought was lovely.
There is lovely cliff top walks in both directions from the site which are not challenging like some cliff top walks.
You can walk to Brighstone in 20 mins along a bridle path opposite the site. Brighstone has two lovely shops that stock everything you need and a lovely pub that does food.
The site is in a good location for seeing the Isle of Wight, we walked, cycled or caught a bus.
The facilities are clean and plenty of toilets and showers. Plenty of washing up sinks, launderette etc.
For those of you with children it has a lovely children's play area and lots of animals too.
We had a lovely stay here and would definitely return. The owners are lovely and helpful well done to you all for running such a lovely site ☺

Somewhat optimistically on my behalf chose to stay at this site when rain and 20mph winds (gusting 40) were forecast.
We use a van and awning combo but still chose to hug a hedgerow. They are low though so not enough shelter unless you're in a backpacking tent really.
Beautiful open site. NO FENCES on the crumbling cliff edges, thankfully my toddler daughter isn't a runner!
BUT payoff is it gives nice open vistas as long as the weather plays ball and that really is the big thing. You are on a South West cliff top bearing the full brunt of anything that swings across the Atlantic so be prepared, even steady 20mph winds mean you have to keep everything well secured.
Otherwise:
Good facilities, fairly good upkeep, kept clean (though it was quiet).
The satellite toilet blocks ran out of both hand towel and soap when I was there, towel was refilled next day, but the soap never was in the gents in the 3 days I was there, so I mostly went to the main block.
Taps need to be pressed all the time to let water come out - there's no delay on them. Again rubbing off soap off each hand while holding the tap down got tiresome.
Showers are the same - pressing the button every 3-5 seconds.
The kiddies play area is large, but really needs a bit of upkeep and better for slightly older toddlers upwards.
Everything just looks a little bodged together. When half of the equipment looks like it needs proper taking apart, levelling and putting back together properly.
My 2 year old loved it, but I really did need to keep a closer eye than usual.
Goats, Sheep, Horse, Donkey's to look at.
Well stocked shop (Fresh croissants in the morning)
Really need 20-30 minutes drive anywhere Unless you're a keen hiker or cyclist
Best site really for tougher, hiker types; cyclists, regular off-season campers that can deal with the weather if needed or just want to escape and do some serious walking, chilling and reading.

Excellent campsite
Stayed for a 12 night family holiday in August 2015.
Location : Right on the coast (about 20 meters). Near cliffs, but not dangerous. Easy access to a clean, dog-friendly beach suitable for fossil hunting. Also just off the main road which is nice if towing.
The Isle of Wight has a lot to do, and everything is a fairly short drive away. A new, big Co-op superstore is just opening in Freshwater, about 10 minutes drive away, but there is a good on site shop and a bigger village one. The village is a 10 minute walk.
Facilities: Excellent playpark. Good showers, toilets, a bath, washing machines - and enough so I never had to queue. Also, the site is compact enough that it's not a huge trek to the toilets.
The site also held up well under some pretty extreme weather at times. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Booked the site up early in the year - with our friends, the site owners were really helpful and friendly, the site is big with plenty of level areas, good clean loos and showers (thanks for keeping it basic - just how we like it - clean and basic and operational and well stocked)
The stony with some sand beach was just a short walk away (great for the kids and good clean water) - spend time there in the sun and the beach is great for walking and the shop had all the necessities as well as ice creams and local meats etc
Locals very friendly and plenty of really good places to eat (the Chequers and the Wight Mouse most memorable)we visited the needles on a sunny day and that was great, also the cinema in Newport when it rained (take your own sweets!)
All in all a superb site with everything you could need to hand; clean, tidy, well maintained, convenient and friendly - only thing which we could not control was the weather - at least our tents behaved (more than we can say about the kids!)
There was a chippy van and Pizza van on regular visits too.
So if you get it when it is sunny it is just superb, otherwise there are plenty of places to visit and eat out, me I just wanted to sit, drink, eat and read (only 4 books in a week!)

We live on the Isle of Wight and love coming to stay at this site. There is a real sense of open space and freedom about this site. It is right on the cliff top, with breath taking views across the sea. The beach is a walk away down a tarmac pathway. The site is open to the vagaries of South Westerly winds, but when the weather is fine, there is no better campsite. There is one shower block which is clean, there are 4 showers but I have never had to wait for one. There is an indoor washing up area and laundry. The farm has animals for the children to see and a big play area. They have a well stocked shop and friendly, relaxed staff. The village of Brightstone is a 20 minute walk away along marked footpaths across fields, with stiles. The village has an excellent restaurant, 2 well stocked village shops and a pub. There is a lot to see and do on the Island, but for the days you want to spend on site you can't beat the beach and it's accessibility.

Just returned from five days at this lovely campsite, Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, a lovely site with great facilities, all extremely clean, even a bath for those with little ones. Liked the fact that we could choose our own pitch. Best recycling we've seen at any campsite.
Our children are grown up now, but would have loved the play area and all the animals.
As can be seen from the air shot on their website, there is almost a total absence of shade, so you need to be happy in the sun or bring your own shade and as mentioned in other reviews, it can get quite windy, but we think this is a price worth paying and should be expected when by the sea.
The Camp shop bakes fresh croissant and french stick every day; bliss and the village shop in Brighstone is excellent, lots of local produce, give the supermarket a holiday and shop there instead.

Brilliant place to stay, staff very friendly and chatty, the site is lovely with stunning views, we started off camping on a large electric pitch which was more that sufficient for our large 5 metre tent, sadly after 6 days the wind took it toll and our tent poles broke, it was very windy but the staff on site did try to stop this happening {we were out at the time site seeing} so I called at the shop to see if they could help us and they offered us one of their static caravans minus the cost of our tent pitch, so we ended up in a very lovely mobile home which we hope to book and stay in next year, so thanks to the owner and the staff our holiday was saved and we enjoyed the rest of our stay, 10 out 10 for facilities, service and site

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at Grange Farm. The kids absolutely loved it. When we arrived we were told to pitch where we wanted and there were plent of pitches to choose from even in the August school holidays. We were near a toilet and water point which was ideal. There is a decent sized park as well as a small farm and plenty of room to run around. There is a stoney beach down a short very steep hill from the site.
The shop is very well stocked with things for the beach, camping supplies and much more more as well as fresh daily bread and pastries. The owners can't do enough for you and were more than happy to happy you wherever they could. The only bad thing about the shop is it doesn't open until 9:00 which when you have small children up at 7:00 and hungry and without a shop for a fair distance it's not really ideal. There is a meal van that visits the site as well as a stone baked pizza van (which were expensive but delicious). Now the wind, it was very sunny and hot in the day but a totally different story at night the wind was vicious and we were up multiple times in the night re pegging and tightening guy ropes, in the end we gave up after the porch was pulled from the ground even though anchored down and collapsed the porch and threw it in the car. All we could see and hear in the night was tour he'd going round tents and campers hammering pegs and windbreakers. It is a lovely site but just be prepared for the weather, we thought we were but found out we weren't as prepared as we first thought.
