We have visited this site nearly every year since 2004. Despite trying other sites we always return here with our 3 children -who also love this site. It is perfection and even though we have been on 5* holiday abroad nothing can beat this site. Excellent in every way and already booked on for 2016.

Just returned from an 8 night stay. A very well organised campsite with a relaxed feel. Friendly welcome by Jeff and francis, nothing is to much trouble. Huge pitches and the best facilities I have ever seen. Lots to do for children, even if it rains. The pools are great. FREE showers that we only had to queue for once and always very clean. ( no expense sparred on the fitting out). The nearby beach is beautiful and very big. There are works going on where the old building was but still loads of space left. ( don't let this put you off). There is a beach cafe behind the info centre. A MUST VISIT. Also on some evenings there are temp cafes etc on the beach. , It has a real med feel to it.
Overall it is a great place to stay and very central for days out as near to A390. The only downside of this is if you are in Duporth field you will hear slight road noise when the campsite goes quiet at 10. 30pm if you are in a tent. Will definitely return.

We stayed there for 5 weeks and will return definitely. A must visit campsite.
The owners are very nice and helpful people.
Pitches are enormous which is good as we have a big unit.
The facilities are very clean, plenty of hot water.
Tesco and Asda are very close, Tesco is within walking distance and there is an indoor Cornish market 500 yards away, very handy.

A lovely campsite - nice big pitch, very clean facilities, lovely washing up area and a beautiful pool - though the weather was too chilly to really enjoy it! The site had beautiful flowers everywhere
There is a very nice walk to a decent beach.
We went to see the Eden Project which was a great day out.
We would be very happy to return to Carlyon Bay Camping Park one day.

We only returned from this site on Sunday, and we wish we were still back there!
Can't recommend it enough! Even on the arrival the view is great. Reception was welcome and you can ask anything. Area is well laid out with plenty of room for every pitch. Shower facilities were good. Our 1 years old son especially loved baby bath that was in the shower/toilet unit, it made our life so much easier with him. Washing area is good, you have a store with all essentials and I found that prices were very reasonable compared to other campsites we have been to.
Our 2 nieces loved the swimming pools. It felt like we are abroad and not in UK :) We had great weather the whole week, so girls were basically in the pool every spare time they had. Plenty of activities to do on the site, mini golf, kids playing area, table tennis. They even have TV room, but we just didn't have time to use it.
Tesco or Asda supermarkets are only 2 miles away.
The beach is only 5-10 minutes walk from the site. There are so many flowers on the site, it just so pretty. Well looked after site! One of our best we have visited! We would definitely come back there again and no wonder they are fully booked!

Both my wife, Teresa, Masie our daughter, three dogs and me had a very enjoyable and relaxing time here.
Masie and I enjoyed a dip in the on site pool which was heated, but not too warm so we found it refreshing.
We would recommend both SAMs eateries one in Fowey and the other on the beach at Polkerris.
Staying here, you are a very short drive to either Tescos or Asda supermarket, we found Asda to be better, especially if clothing is needed as it was in Masie's case, forgot her PJs.
We took a trip across the river Fowey on the small car ferry to Polperro. We parked at the top and ambled down to the harbour, on the way back we stopped and had a light lunch.
All in all we all had great time and would recommend this site to others.

Lovely site with a warm welcome. Facilities were clean and tidy, my son particularly liked the swimming pool.
We stayed for two nights in our little tent and found this location ideal, close to the beach, about a 10 minute walk, not far to drive to the attractions like the Eden project, or to the other must see villages.
The site is near to a railway line, but the train noise was minimal and did not disturb us.
Would go back again.

Great site. Read the reviews and wasn't disappointed.
No problems with pitch or facilities, top notch.
Location is great.
Quite literally one of the friendliest guys I've ever met showed us round. Even knew the world cup line-up for us.
Ping-pong was fun, but if you're serious invest in top quality balls, as the 25p ones had a funny bounce :)

This site fully lived up to my expectations after having read the reviews already posted. I especially liked the fact that we were allowed to set up facing how we wanted on our fully serviced pitch. One small criticism. I know May is considered low season but it would have been nice if only some of the facilities were available. Ie. Pool, shop or restaurant. An English site with a French feel to it. We'll certainly return.

This was our fourth visit, and coming here each year is now something that the kids now consider to be non-negotiable! Highlights for them are the swimming pools, endless table tennis, and mini golf.
Pitches are a good size and level, and seem to stay pretty dry even when it rains heavily (as it does occasionally in Cornwall). The facilities are excellent with plenty of showers and toilets, all in good condition and kept clean. The shop is surprisingly well stocked and always seems to come up trumps when I need something obscure. All the staff that I have dealt with have been consistently helpful and cheerful.
The site is only a few minutes from Eden which makes beating the crowds really easy. Some days we've gone early, then when it gets busy come back to the campsite for some lunch and a swim, then gone back to Eden for the evening!
