Campsite, toilet, showers and utility kept very clean and tidy. Great play area and open space for children to play games etc. Children loved the ice cream van that appeared late afternoon

The site is located 5 mins drive away from Asda Minworth which was fab for topping up bbq supplies and buying a replacement airbed ! Kingsbury Water Park just down the road too.

Traffic noise at night could be a problem for light sleepers (take earplugs).

Lots of rules and notices and male owner policing the site during day/evening, but we did pitch ourselves right by the office so that could be why we notice it.

What a welcome we had when we arrived, very welcoming and pleasant. We stayed for 3 nights during Easter and had a fab time.

My 2 boys aged 5 and 8 had a lovely time, with a playground that is basic but kept them happy.

The first night was a noisy one with a lot of traffic on the road close by, but was bearable.

The toilets and showers were spotless. On the Saturday night we had the fish and chip man arrive about 7:30 and I must recommend you try them, they are beautiful.

We will definitely be returning

We stayed for 2 nights (Fri/Sat) in early April 2011 (the weather was lovely which always helps!). It was our first camping trip and we found this campsite to be clean, tidy and user friendly. We had a tent pitch with electric hook-up which cost £12 per night.

There's a small children's playground and (when we stayed) plenty of grass for the children to run around on, although during busier times this would probably not be the case.

There are clean and tidy toilet and shower room facilities (£5 refundable deposit for each shower room key (male/female)).A utility room c/w two sinks (has hot water) a washing machine and tumble dryer (both the latter require tokens which can be purchased at the office). There seemed to be plenty of drinking water taps available.

Barrier entry to the site - which lift automatically during the day time but you are given a code to use if you leave the site early in the morning or return late at night.

There was low traffic noise all night when we stayed, not loud enough to keep you awake but if you're a light sleeper you might want ear plugs.

A little tip: on Saturday nights a mobile fish and chip van arrives at the site and sells some really lovely tasting chips!

We stayed here for 3 nights to test our tent so stayed local. The site is well looked after with clean toilets and showers and a park in the centre of the site for the children.

The site is close to many attractions including Drayton Manor and Kingsbury water park.

There is a barrier onto the site to stop non residents accessing the site after a certain time.

A fish and chip van comes onto the site which is a nice touch and is reasonably priced. We would recommend this site to both locals and people coming from further afield.

Nice looking site. Level. Useful children's playground in middle. That's about all the positives.

The pitches were not marked out. The wardens were fussy about placings of units, but then coming back and making several units move. On entering the office for information leaflets, but no greeting or offering help.

The number of toilets & showers were not adequate for number of units on site. Only 2 washing up sinks in a very cramped room which also held washing/tumble drying machine. No plugs for the sinks. Toilets were cleaned infrequently & not very well.

So many notices around telling you what you could not do. Very off putting. Road & aircraft noise were also a downside.

Dogs allowed & were free. There was no dog walking area.

Nearby Kingsbury water park is a big plus.

Arrived on site to a warm welcome at reception and were shown to our pitch. Pitch sizes are good and there is hard standing and grass available. No shop but gas is available. The toilets and showers are well equipped and kept very clean at all times. The site is very well looked after with nicely kept grass and boarders. Our kids didn't take to much to the play area age 10 and 6 it's a little basic but safe and can be seen from most pitches. Plenty of room for them to play though without getting too close to the caravans. The site is in a good location near to the motorway but not to close noise wise. We will be returning throughout the winter months, nice site.

Came here for 3 days, the owners are lovely, has there wasn't many people on we had a choice of were to pitch which I thought was great. When I booked it over the telephone they asked me to bring cash on arrival has they haven't got a card machine. I found the loos to be ok on the first day nice and clean and warm, has it was freezeing outside it was lovely but on the second day we was there they smelled quiet bad which was a bit off putting, my hubby said the gents was fine! The showers are free to use and the water is lovely and hot plus when you get out of them there is a heater blowing hot air and when its cold outside it was lovely you do have to put a £5 deposit down for a key though.

To sum this up I thought this campsite was really good value for money and would love to come back to it sometime next year even though I thought I was camping on the motorway sometimes (the motorway is at back of the campsite and you can hear the traffic quiet bad sometimes, I live on a main road and I'm use to the noise but sometimes this got a bit too much for me).

This is our fifth year visiting this site and the first with the new owners. We were a bit worried in case things had changed for the worse but glad to say that things seem fine. There was a mix up with our booking but it was quickly resolved.

The site was fuller than in previous years but toilet block and dishwashing area was kept clean. We were pitched nearer the road this year so road noise was more significant and there still isnt a proper facility for motorhomes to empty waste water but these are only downsides.

The car boot was taking place on Sunday and Monday as it was a bank holiday. In the monday we had to leave by 12 so we drove to the nearby Kingsbury WaterPark where its £3 to park all day and there is a nice playground, little train and lots of space to let off steam.

We will be back next year

Just returned from this site must say it was very good. The site was very clean the grass was short. The staff were very friendly and helpful were shown a couple of pitches to chose from. This site is well placed for many attractions. The site is also secure which is good. Would recommend this site to anyone. The local golf course is just opposite which being a 5* hotel was a little expensive but food was good. The toilets were very clean as were the showers. For only £12 a night with hook up for me and my son you could not fault it.

Recently visited, Superb, what more can I say. Warm welcome, choice of pitch, all facilities well maintained.

Always spotlessly clean, just a shame some campers don't respect this and clean up after themselves.

Hot water always on tap.

Excellent location for visiting the local area or passing through.

Felt very secure with the electric barriers.

Car boot next door, what more could the wife ask for
