We spent a weekend in August and without a doubt it was the cleanest campsite I have been to , my children were amazed that the toilets were clean, ( they inspect all toilets in the block to find the cleanest), the showers were wonderful, hot and large enough for you and yours. The owners were very polite and helpful, the playground went out of sight due to the tents, but they were supervised and out of any harms way. The ice cream van was great, we never managed to see the chip van, but I heard it was good. The meat van did not come. There is a car-boot sale on the field behind the campsite which in August was running for 12 weeks, worth a visit. The drive coming out of the campsite is a little steep and managed to aquire a scrape of the tow bar, so v slow over that one. Would go back soon.

This site isn't very far for us to travel and we chose it for this reason - there were 2 families of us, one with a 5yr old & 4yr old and the other with a 3yr old, so we decided to go somewhere local just in case the kids didn't take to camping too well! We were really pleased with our choice - Marston is a lovely campsite, the toilet / shower block looks new and was very clean and the kids playground which is right in the centre of the site was great. We were allocated a pitch on arrival but had plenty of space between us and the next people. A fish & chip van comes into the site every Saturday evening and an ice-cream van came in too. The reception area was very nice and had takeaway menus for pizza, chinese & indian restaurants. We ordered a takeaway and it was delivered right to our tent - perfect! You can book in from 10am and have to leave by 12.30pm on the day of departure, which was plenty of time for us to pack up. We didn't visit any of the surrounding area (as we only live 25 mins away) but Kingsbury Water Park is a good place to visit. We will definitely be returning to this campsite as the adults and kids all loved it.

We have stayed here many times now and have always enjoyed our stay.
Although since the change in owners we have noticed the toilet block has become very smelly and dirty.
Also trailer tent owners beware, you will be charged as a caravan.
As the fee was inclusive of two adults and two children. [ we have three ] 8, 5 and 11 months. We assumed our baby was free although we were charged for the extra child.
I think we felt a bit cheated although we still paid. A real shame. I don't think we will be staying here again.

The site is very flat and has hard-standing pitches all around the perimeter with a circular 1 way road. There is a single amenity block which has separate loos and showers. You need a code to get into the loos which we found to be clean and well stocked at all times. The showers were very hot and free and the only downside being the percussion taps being short duration. The guy running the reception was very helpful and came out with everyone to their pitch to ensure they were correctly positioned. He was very helpful in finding and suggesting eating places and things to do nearby.

Stayed here twice so far, mainly to test out my trailer tent, my aunt and uncle sold there house, brought a big tourer and lived on this site for months awaiting emmigration to france, dogs are allowed (kept on leads) theres a field especially for dog walking (enclosed) washing up facilities, laundry facilities, a car boot & market every sunday (summer) within walking distance. Chip van 6pm saturdays. Open all year round, park for kids, cant grumble at all. Its a great place to stay for 1 night or 7.

I am not sure what has happened to this site since the reviews in April but we have not experienced the same as others. On arrival the site seems nice enough and very spacious however there seemed a lot of very old caravans parked which looked like they had been there for years ! There is a toilet block and separate shower block again plenty of them, however they were filthy. September is particularly bad for daddy long legs, spiders and bugs however they seemed in abundance here. The toilets & showers were full of old cobwebs and dead spiders. This should have been eradicated with regular cleaning. The staff were very pleasant and it is a shame that the cleanliness has let the place down.

Visited this site twice now and found both times to busy. Tents are put very close to vans. Park is only good for the older child. Extra expense for awning, extra car, visitors. You need to be off site by 10:00am or you have to pay £5 extra. There is a lot of noise from the main road. Visitors have to be gone by 10:00pm or you pay extra for them to stay. Toilets and showers are excellent. Ice cream van and chip van comes around and a breakfast van comes on a sat morning although a little pricey for portion size. Would use site again but only if we were asked. (go away in a group of 4 vans and a tent)

Yet another wonderful visit to Marston caravan park. The potholes have been filled in and the flowers look wonderful. The site just keeps getting better every time we visit. The managers are so friendly and will help with any query. Everyone enjoys there stay. Some people we got chatting to have been coming for years and say the same it's just getting better. I will look forward to my stay in july and will be telling all my family and friends.

I had a realy nice time at the camp site. I can only fault the road for the pot holes they need attention and I think the warden could be more friendly and needs more experience - the warden was more interested in his bbq than our questions. All in all a good camp site, a friendly place with happy campers that are happy to chat and help if needed
