It was late September and raining. We arrived, tired and late in the day, needing some sleep before an early ferry to Ireland. The hostess could not have been more friendly and helpful. Took us to a level, gravelled pitch with a great view, EHU and water. Made our Labradoodle very welcome too. The showers were wonderful. Plenty of hot water and absolutely spotless. I don't know what this would be like at the height of season as we pretty much had it to ourselves - and as two old codgers, that's just fine. And we were charged just £20 for the night. Only one tiny fault - the light at our site flickered constantly. No problem at all when blinds were closed but a problem to see where you were going so needed a torch when getting set up.

Site is suited to people prefering quieter times. Excellent for dogs and plenty of dog friendly breaches and walks nearby. The coast path is accessible down a lane next to site and gives you excellent walks in both directions. The B&B on site breakfast can be ordered to sit in or takeaway by all it is good value and great food, we had it last morning while packing up so convenient. The owners and staff are so helpful and shower block is immaculate. Small store for most needs and local supermarkets 10 min drive away. Good laundry facilities as well. Loved every minute and will be going back.

My brother and I stayed here in May 2016 and what a lovely site it was. The owner couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating us in two pitches next door to each other as we travel in 2 motorhomes. The pitches were large although we needed small chocks to make them level. The shower facilities were great with two shower rooms and two separate showers. Plenty of hot water was available with no push button regulators, which for me is a bonus. Friday fish and chips and daily breakfasts in the main house are also available at a small cost and having tried these I must say they were very good. All in all a very good site.

Beautifully positioned site in a very picturesque part of Anglesey. Easy to find and reach - no tricky narrow roads to negotiate. Easy booking in process with helpful and welcoming staff.
Facilities were clean and spacious and the radio playing made it extra homely.
The coastline was very pretty with lots of walks and coves to explore.
As previously reviewed, the only thing I can say that isn't positive about this site is the pitch. No choice of pitch offered, the temporary visitors all seemed to get squashed in next to the toilet block and the pitches were positioned so they didn't offer any privacy.
However, this wouldn't put me off returning to the site.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this site. We arrived after a horrendous 3 hour journey in the wind and rain. The welcome was very friendly and we were shown to our pitch. We then went straight into the restaurant for some very welcome fish and chips. Yes, they are pricey but you would pay this for a meal in a restaurant and they were simply delicious!
The views at this site are simply the best, however as I've already read on a previous comment - the best pitches with stunning sea views were taken up by uninhabited caravans. We were not given a choice of pitch and wonder why the remaining 'sea view' pitches cannot be given out on a first come first serve basis??
The toilet block was clean with free hot water and a continuous shower. Also music played into the block.
I cannot fault this site however it seems there isn't really a lot to do in Anglesey. Yes, there are some stunning views, but without separate transport there really isn't anywhere to go.
My husband and I walked over 2.5 miles (and back) to the Soith Stack lighthouse - down (and back up) the 400+steps which was quite a feat. The trip up the lighthouse (more steep steps) was worth the visit and the price at over £8. 00 each.
The weather spoilt this trip for us as it rained heavily for the majority of our trip. It would have been so different had we been able to sit outside and eat, drink and admire the views.
A lovely campsite but I didn't fall in love with Anglesey.

Thoroughly recommend this site. Great base esp for cycling, if only the Easter weather was kinder.
We had our own facilities but those on site looked clean.
Chemical toilet disposal adequate
DON'T miss the homemade fish & chips on a Friday night
Great views and helpful staff
We will be back

Stayed here just for 1 night, for the second time, at the back end of the season, on arrival you are met by a very pleasant staff member, and an immaculate well presented site, the views are priceless and a short drive into Holyhead and treadur bay.

What a well run camp site and beautiful location, all the facilities are kept spotless and the food is superb if you use the B&B restaurant. All the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. We have never had such a warm and friendly reception.

Just returned from this site. We were there for 5 days. When we arrived we requested a different pitch as we were put next to the toilets and bins. This was dealt with in a professional and friendly manner and they offered us a choice of 2 other pitches. The site itself is lovely and open with great views from most of the pitches (not ours unfortunately). The facilities (toilets, showers, potwash)were clean and the general upkeep was well maintained. The pitches are of a generous size with small fencing to separate boundaries. There is a good phone signal and there is wifi at the site. The showers were good with no silly timers to stop the water. There is a large field to the front where kids can play football etc. It is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and Holyhead is 10 minutes in the car/bike or £4. 90 for a taxi.
A couple of downsides:
1) All the best pitches with the best views were taken up by seasonal caravans, most of which were empty when we were there. There were 3 or 4 campervans arrived and left while we were there and everyone seemed to be put in the first three pitches by the toilets and bins with no views! Not sure why this is as you pay your money the same as a caravan.
2) We had take away fish and chips from the on site café and although very tasty, they were the most expensive fish and chips I have ever had! Over £8 each. My advice if you fancy fish and chips while you are there is to take the short drive into Holyhead where they are £4 and just as nice!
All in all a nice site, friendly staff, great views (mostly), nice clean facilities, very quiet and relaxing but wouldn't return due to the lack of a nice view where we were.

Outstanding!
Perfect in virtually every way. Stunning location. Well kept. Gorgeous site. Richard, the owner, was very helpful & polite. Really was a joy to be there.
Enjoyed Fish n Chip night on the Friday. Superb food. Small shop is well stocked with treats and drinks at good price. Facilities on site are fab, no playground, but loads of space and our 7 and 9 year old were more than happy.
We visited during heat wave at end of July. It was busy but never seemed to be busy. Plots are big and well spread out.
Will defo visit again. A stunning campsite.
