If you like rules, you will like this site. We were handed a very full page of A4 on arrival with lots of rules and then we were told which side of our pitch we should park our van on. On the plus side, this site has a great location as others have said, it is very clean, well maintained and full of predominantly big white motorhomes and caravans lined up as instructed by reception. The showers were very clean and well maintained with underfloor heating but they are the push button type which is ok if you get a bit more than 4 seconds of water per push (that's not an exageration, I timed it). The other problem with the showers was like so many other campsites, only one hook to hang all your clothes on and your towel, why do sites do this?. I also thought £59 for two nights a bit steep, yes it was a Bank Holiday weekend but this was for a small campervan and two adults with hookup, if we had an awning and a dog and one or two more people with us, it would have been the wrong side of £70

Nice location but expensive for the site, website makes it look a lot nicer. Pitches were a nice good size which we liked, but there was dog mess all alone walk way along creek, and some on the site itself. Not good with children. Dogs yapped & barked constantly, very annoying. Showers were ok but room so hot & steamy it was like a sauna. Also trying to shower young children with the toilets completely separate was tricky! Playground is awful & stinks of sewage, so kept kids away from there. I liked the area but doubt we'd stay there again, it was too expensive for what we got. Think they've overpriced themselves as half term week was only about 1/2 full, should be jam packed during half term in May.

Stayed at this site mid may as the pictures on the web site looked fantastic, sadly the site looked very different! The grass pitches and all around the site were totally worn out and the perimeter fences are in a bad state of repair, and there was dog poo all over the place, not good if you have kids. The site looked very very tatty, there was a distinct lack of maintenance all around this site. The centre part of the site was mostly seasonal vans, that made it look like a travellers site, all caravans very untidily parked and some were precariously jacked up on blocks. Also if you enjoy dogs constantly barking, then this is the site for you!, I didn't see any staff all the time we were there, so I will not be going back, plus this site is very expensive for what is on site, not what caravanning is all about!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The site was very quiet. The location by the creek is lovely. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy.
We have 3 small dogs and was a bit disappointed to have to pay a charge for each dog per night. There were dog bins all around the site which was good. I would stay here again but couldn't afford to during peak season as taking 3 dogs would add £8. 70 each night.
The walk along the creek was nice, however there was quite a lot of dog mess on the path and we couldn't find a dog bin. The footpath to the beach was very uneven with a drop down the side to the creek. We walked back on the path in the dark and it wasn't a pleasant experience as lighting was limited.
We had a curry at a nearby takeaway which was nice. We also had a fish and chips lunch at Elliotts on the seafront.

A lovely and well maintained site.
We chose an outer pitch overlooking the Creek. These pitches are £3 more, but larger with lovely views, well worth the extra.
The toilet block was a little dated, but clean, warm and perfectly good.
The shower block was great! More modern it was well lit, plenty of hot water and never very busy.
Great dog walk around the creek and Options to walk along the beach.
Three little supermarkets in town. Plenty of nice little shops nearby.
We decided that the restaurants were a little too far for us to walk so ate in at night, but noticed a Chinese takeaway nearby.
None of the pubs nearby grabbed us, so we don't try them, but they may have been fine.
I would definitely recommend this site.

We visited Fishery Creek in July 2012 - a very very wet month! We were in the area to see family and had been warned abot lots of localised flooding, so needless to say we were a little apprehensive!
Well we needn't be! The site was lovely and although soggy it certainly wasn't water logged. We had a lovely welcoming reception and found our creekside pitch easily. Not many tents the weekend we stayed but I would imagine the weather put a LOT of people off.
After setting up we went for a little explore. The toilet block was in clean and tidy condition for our long weekend, plenty of toilet roll and hot water, always clean despite the wet weather!
The playground kept my 2 and 6 year old daughters entertained, and the little recpetion shop stocked a few essentials, but we were well packed and didn't need anything
Hayling Island itself was a nice little seaside place if you like that sort of thing. We didn't explore too much as like I said, we were visiting family, but I imagine it would have been a much nicer place had the sun been out!
We plan to go back again, this time with an extra little one in our family. A well cared for site, with friendly and helpful staff in a very pleasant location. Nice and quiet and relaxing and when the sun came out over the creek it was beautiful. My children loved it and my eldest wrote in the guest book herself!

This was our first visit to this site and certainly will not be the last. I cannot praise it enough.
We had a lake view with our pitch which are large and do not intrude the person next to you. The other pitches are on the creek side which again are really good.
The site is exceptionally clean and well kept and toilet blocks and showers are immaculate. Plenty of hot water.
There are some pleasant walks from the site, into Hayling itself along the creek or going to other way you can walk for miles past the harbour. There is a playground for children but not a lot there but of course with the beach and lots of play areas they really do not need it.
The people on the site are very friendly and helpful.
If you want a good meal not cheap but well worth a visit try the Olive Tree which is along the beach road. Food excellent.
If when you go into the site from the road look at the Warners sign. We rang the number and were told that we could have a day using their facilities for free. Good swimming pool.
We would recommend this site to all.

Visited over Easter weekend and had booked a prime pitch that was creekside. Most expensive site we have stayed on but well worth the extra few quid. A lovely site, well kept, clean and all the facilities you need especially with it's own slipway. Easy to get small to medium boats onto the safe estuary. With open and dangerous waters far enough away and beyond the harbour.
An easter egg hunt was well arranged and attended by kids of all ages and plenty of playground too. Town and beach 5min walk away, with a few shops, couple of bars and all the takeaways. So no need to cook if you want to be lazy. Enjoyed this so much we have booked to go back a May b/holiday. A great site!

Lovely site in a very nice location. Be careful you don't end up on Fishers Caravan Park by mistake! You can't see the sign for Fishers Creek until you get round the corner. It's left by the entrance to the recycling centre. We had to wait a while to get in while the queue cleared.
The electric hook up on our pitch wasn't working when we arrived but this was very quickly sorted out (less than 15mins after reporting it). The pitches are clearly marked and a good size. Ours was nice and flat and well groomed (as was the rest of the site).
Toilets & showers were nice and clean and they had those brilliant hand dryers in the toilet block which actually work!
The showers are a bit annoying. Lovely and warm but they really could do with staying on a bit longer.
They have got a good laundry room - even had a TV & sofa!
Several dog bins on site which made life easier for us and you can walk your dog right outside along the creek.
It's only a short walk to the sea/shops etc. We set up on our pitch and didn't bother driving off site during our stay. Can recommend Heidi's cafe and also Pepperelli's ice cream parlour - amazing choice of flavours!
We would definitely return to this site. I do think it was a little bit pricey for the time of year. We paid £53 for 2 nights, 2 adults & dog.

We had a lovely time at Fishery Creek, the welcome we received on arrival was second to none. We found this campsite clean as were the toilet and shower blocks. The gardens were well kept and the flowers a picture.
We had a pitch over looking the lake this was very nice but a fountain in the middle of this lake runs all night and the noise of the motor can be a bit annoying, but we got used to it. These pitches are larger than the ones in the middle of the campsite.
We never used the on site shop. The town has many shops, we found the local Chip shop very good as was the Chinese take away.
The weather was very warm during our stay and we did manage to have swim in the sea, we would recommend some beach shoes as the pebbles can be very hard under foot.
The only problem we had during our stay was the line of cars and lorries awaiting to get into the public waste site next door, this could be a problem if you were leaving the site with your caravan.
Overall the site is very good and we would come again.
