Not very good at all. The toilets were dirty, they smelled bad. The pitches were wet and bogged down.
It was very noisy until about midnight, the park staff were fed up and not bothered. I will not go again. Rubbish 3 days, waste of money and nothing much for the kids unless your pockets were large.
It may have been better if it was not the last week in the season. The beach is a short walk away down an alley
Overall not good wont be back

We have just returned from our 2 night stay at this site. We chose this site because when looking at it on the haven website, it said it had a water park. However, when we arrived at the site, we found that the 'waterpark' was just 2 big slides, a lazy river, and a small kids slide. We came on the bus and the touring site was about a 30 minute walk from the welcome entrance signs so it was quite a distance to walk with camping gear.
Apart from that, the site was fantastic. The pitches were clean and well kept. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and allowed us to pick our own pitch. We had electric so we chose to go in front of the touring reception. The toilet and shower block was very clean and were cleaned on a regular basis.
There was 3 of us that stayed and we were all aged between 16 and 18. The beach was about a 5-10 minute walk from the touring site (about the same distance to the entertainment complex). The prices of the food and drink were very high but we took our own food and drink so it wasn't too bad. It cost £55 for 4 people to stay for 2 nights which is quite expensive but I think the price was high due to how close to school holidays we chose to go.
Overall a very nice clean site with lots of facilities but I think we may try a different haven site before we go back.

We have just returned home from our first ever camping holiday. We choose this campsite because of all the reviews and it was just what we were looking for.
We had an absolutely great time, (weather was great, so that helped) Arrived on site and was told that we could choose our own pitch. So we had a drive around and decided on one not to far away from the toilet and shower block.
Very impressed with the shower and toilet facilities, saw them being cleaned regularly throughout the day.
Site was very well kept, clean and tidy. With plenty of room for the children to play around each pitch. (lots of grassy areas)
We had a 2 yr, 6 yr and 8yrs old children, they enjoyed the evening entertainment, shame the prices in the bar are quite high.
Great access to a really big beach, which was about a 4 minute walk away from the touring area of the holiday park.
We got a great deal on our holiday and only paid £16 for 2 nights. So it was a bargain.
We will be going back here again very soon, the children didn't really want to leave.

A great site, the showers/toilets were very clean.
The pitches are very good with water and drainage on each pitch. As with all clubs with entertainment the prices can be a bit on the steep site, but they have loads of things for the kids to do.
It rained very heavily and the awning got a bit flooded. Pleasure island has opened up again and is bang next to the site. Overall a good stay and would visit again.

What a lovely site. The staff were friendly and left us to pick our own spot.
The facilities were spotless and warm- a bonus in chilly april.
The site has all the usual Haven stuff if you want all that but just as a campsite alone it can hold its own.
You are a stones throw from the beach, not the best beach for sun bathers and families but if you are into rock pools and walking then you would enjoy the landscape.
It is a huge site but is cleverly sectioned off so as not to feel so overwhelming.
Would definitely go back as this is a favourite.

We went over the Easter bank holiday and choose a flat site near the toilets. I had 3 children (2 x 10 year olds and 1 x 7 year old) - the swimming pool and arcades kept them busy. The children did find the kids evening entertainment too young for them.
We had a lovely time during the day but left a night early due to the noise in the evenings.
The on site staff did throw out some people on the second night due to fighting etc. But found that even at 4am in the morning there were still people walking around the site back to the tents and constantly driving up and down (fast).
Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly.

We stayed at this site over the Easter Weekend 2010 and had a lovely time. It was quite an expensive booking but as we had left it last minute, that was out fault really as I wouldn't usually stay at a holiday centre site.
We arrived on Friday afternoon and were greeted by a warden who let us pick which pitch we wanted.
The shows and entertainment were good and a nice surprise for my 5 year old son, he loved it, and the drink prices were reasonable.
We did cater for ourselves food wise but on the one occasion we had fish and chips - (£2.25 for a large portion of chips!) they were awful and overpriced.
There are a couple of pubs just on the outside of the park that are very good value for money - £3.95 for a carvery midweek which makes a change from the crap that you usually find in these places. There is also a eat all you can indian / chinese buffet about a mile walk away which is also good value.
The toilets and showers on site were good - I saw them being cleaned a couple of times a day.
I think there could have been a better presence on site of staff as it was quite difficult to find our way round.
I am glad that the weather stayed fine for us as I think a wet weekend could make for a very expensive break - Arcades, Flashing light stuff (what all the kids have - so you have to do the same for yours), rides, activities, golf etc
I would consider going again but would choose other sites above this.
Was good for a family break - and would do the Sun Newspaper £9 holidays but otherwise, would look for other sites.

We really enjoyed our weekend visit to this site mainly grass pitches which are level but a bit bumpy it`s pick your own spot. The staff were very helpful nothing seemed too much trouble. The showers & toilets were clean & tidy. The on site entertainment was ok the kids enjoyed themselves. The swimming pool & flumes are very good plus there`s lots of other things to do. The beach is close by with its soft yellow sand. All in all a good site one which we`ll visit again this year.

Stayed here for three nights -mixed weather but really enjoyed it. Some grass pitches not very level or grassy but we did OK as got there early. Great location for toilets/showers (always clean and well stocked, though the mirrors are directly opposite the showers so were always steamed up)and for amenities and entrance. Due to previous reviews didn't eat on site but went to Trawlerman pub - great carvery for only £3.49! Lots to do on and off site. Jungle world and Lakeside on way into Cleethorpes well worth a visit. Will go back there again.

I read many reviews about this site and some were quite bad. So I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find an excellent campsite for families. We loved the site, good pitches, clean showers and toilets, friendly staff and next to the beach. The site shop was reasonable which is more than I can say for the on site chippy(£6 a fish). Lucky there's a good chippy just off site and with tesco asda and many more shops near by your laughing. There was 9 people in our party; 3 adults, 6 kids(5 teenagers). Having a theme park next door was great, it made the holiday for all of us. I didn't cook once and I have to say we all agree that the trawlerman pub was brilliant value. I paid £32 for 9 carvery dinners, great food as well. Cant wait to go back, not so many kids though.
