Great place,
Really friendly people who run the site,
Lots of dog walking straight from site and 3 pubs nearby,
Even the rain didn't put us off and would definitely return

Very pretty site in the grounds of a Falconry and a decent size fishing pond.
The site looks well cared for and plenty of hard standing and grass on mainly level pitches.
EHU and water point s easily located. Showers etc fine but a bit of a walk if at the other end of the site.
A nice touch was a boot / dog wash sink and hose outside. Minor gripe, no drive over grey drain but really can't complain in such a good setting.
Plenty of walks around, and local pub 15 mins away.
Although near the M40, virtually no sound as you are in a dip.
Lovely peaceful place with a relaxed atmosphere.
Will return.

Easy to book with friendly site Manager. He met us and showed us to our pitch overlooking the lake as requested.
Beautiful campsite, very clean shower/ toilet facilities. Great for fishing and walking. This was a test weekend to trial our caravan.
Loved every minute it's and looking forward to another trip. Thank you.

A one nighter here on the way further North. Great site, friendly welcome, was offered a choice of pitches, plumped for one down near the lake.
Facilities excellent, really clean and great condition. Site is quite hilly but really nicely laid out and situated.
Fantastic walks direct from the site, straight onto public footpaths and miles and miles of off-road walking. Wandered for miles visiting the Rose and Crown in Ratley, then circling up north of the site to the Plough in Warmington. Both great country pubs. Quite hilly terrain.
Highly recommended site

We booked this from the ferry on the way back from France as a stopover.
Wow, very clean, very tidy and Good Value for Money.
It was so nice we stayed longer and what’s more we will be back.
The site is layer out in such a way to make it interesting.
Only down side and it is a small downside is it is a little hilly fine for the younger caravan users but us wrinkles ha e to pick our area.

Have just spent a week camping at fir tree farm. What a lovely site - Shaun is a great guy as are any of the staff. Site is clean, views are great and on arrival its like going off a cliff edge looking down into the valley. Fishing was good and lovely to see deer in the adjoining fields. We will definitely be going back.
Shower block has 4 individual bathrooms (unisex) with toilet, basin and shower. Always clean but could be busy in the morning but worth waiting for. Portaloo toilets also available on camping field with tap for water.
Site shop sells ice creams Tec and farm shop round the corner very useful

Lovely site, quite and peaceful place. Fishing really good but the pegs are falling apart and into the lake, plus the grass was very over grown around the lake! I feel this is letting the site down !

Great site, just outside Banbury located at the Bottom of a steep hill. Good fishing lakes and a nice peaceful location. Toilets / showers cleaned regularly but can get busy at peak times. Nice little shop next to the Falconry.
Shaun the warden is great, very approachable and will do everything he can to assist you. Seen some lovely sun sets here. Ideal location for the Market at Wellsbourne and Stratford on Avon.

I loved this site and would really recommend it for a getaway or en route via M40/42, north/south travel etc. It is beautifully unspoilt and rural with great walks from the campsite. I saw deer and buzzards last evening whilst walking to the reservoir, alongside a number of other more common animals.
I camped on the lower field at the lakeside and it was great to see people enjoying fishing this morning - Grandparents with grandchildren, a lovely family feeling.
Each cubicle in the shower block has toilet, sink and shower, really clean and spacious.
The falcon trainer walked past this morning and spent an hour exercising his bird which was a privilege to see. Wholeheartedly recommend this site but not if you are someone who wants loads of facilities; this is how camping should be!
