We recently stayed at www. Treloy. Co. Uk in aug 2011 with my husband and 2 boys,
it is a lovely site, lovely owners. It has a fantastic play park which my kids loved, but unfortunately my little boy fell off the top of the climbing frame & broke his arm, the site got an ambulance called within minutes, and were very nice and friendly and supportive to us while we stayed, and let us stay an extra 2 nights for free, as my son had to sleep in the hospital. Couldn't have asked for anything better supportive wise from them,
The site also has A nice little bar area with entertainment quizzes, etc,
Lovely clean swimming pool With a baby pool,
Nice clean well maintained pitches, it has a dog area for taking the dog to,
The bathroom and toilet facilities I always found clean well stocked with toilet paper and soap, and it had a well stocked shop.
A lovely cafe with great food, lovely site will definitely return again.
It is 5 mins from porth near newquay airport, 10 mins from watergate bay, and 15 or so mins from every other beach, 10 mins to supermarkets and town.

This was our first go at camping and what a site to choose, great facilities and lovely area. Good base to visit other areas of Cornwall.
The airport close by did give us a few early morning calls, but you got used to it after a day or so. The beeches close by are worth a look, Porth was lovely and Perranporth wonderful.
The site has good toilets and showers although can get very busy early on. The area for washing up was great with plenty of sinks and again could get busy. Overall worth a look.

Arrived on site and given a choice of 2 good sized pitches. Very busy due to local festival, don't normally go to the bigger sites.
Modern toilet facilities, which I thought were relatively clean, however my husband informed me that the gents toilets were disgusting. Only cleaned once a day, which in busy times is not enough.
So much so that he would not take the boys in to shower /toilet.
Had to leave site by 10am which is early when you have a large tent, however good play area for 2 boys 5 & 7.

3rd time to this site and again found it excellent. We took friends with us this time and they are planning on going again next year. I've got 2 boys aged 15 and 12 and they enjoyed all the facilities.
As we go the same time every year we noticed how many people return to the site as my boys met friends that were there last year.
I haven't yet used the pool as I've heard its very cold but the kids don't seem to care as they went in.
The campsite does charge for a car now which I didn't realise but it is still a good price compared to other sites in the area.
Looking forward to next year now.

This campsite is well laid out. Although quite large it was divided into sections with individual roads and is family orientated.
There is a good play park where a lot of the children congregated, but this was closed at 9pm to allow camp noise to reduce and a security guard was present overnight. My boys found the pool to be warm.
The toilet & shower blocks were kept clean and I never had to queue for a shower. There were a couple of hairdryers in the shower block, but these both broke, but there were plugs for your own hairdryers/ straighteners with chairs and a large mirror.
The shop was quite small but supplied essentials. The cafe on site opened for breakfast and in the evenings and was good value for money with large portions.
We only visited the clubhouse once, which was quite small and well furnished, but with the entertainment was quite full.
Overall a very good campsite which I would visit again.

Large site suited to families, very clean fantastic facilities such as large shower block, toilets, wash rooms, laundry, dishwashing, plus extras such as ironing boards, hair dryers, plug sockets, fridge/freezers etc. Best I have seen. Never had to queue.
Large site but not too lively, central to all the beaches. The site adopts a quiet after 11pm policy which pleased us - however, not all adhered to this, but the noise never went on past midnight, which for such a busy large site was pretty good
Good park for the youngsters and the pool was lovely and clean and well maintained - my only criticism is that it doesn't open until 9. 15am (and often after 9. 30) so there was no opportunity for early adult swim before it got busy with the kids - as it is a small pool this happened immediately -
however for a short break this wasn't a major issue. There is a small club house with some entertainment for those wishing to use it, we chose not to but it always appeared busy.
We had a really nice stay at this park and would certainly recommend.

This is a fantastic site just on the outskirts of Newquay with great access to the rest of the beautiful county of Cornwall.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who pointed out the many good points to Treloy (of which, there were lots), showed us where our pitch was & left us to set up & settle in.
The toilet/shower blocks were immaculate, the pool area was an absolute joy to visit, & the whole site was beautifully presented with well maintained hedgerows & flowers
Great little on site shop. The pitches were what I'd call cosy, close but not ridiculously so with plenty of hookup & water points.
Going back there again this year but for 2 weeks instead of 1. CAN'T WAIT!

This is the second time we have stayed on this excellent campsite, toilet block and shower blocks are separate which are well looked after.
Used shower during different times of day and they were always hot. Waste area's are cleaned up daily. OK sized swimming pool.
There is a bar which is open of an evening time but we didn't use it.

Visited with 7yr old daughter for the 1st 2 weeks of school holiday. Large, busy site which was very full and added to the good experience.
Well equipped clean facilities, which were well-used during our stay. Pretty site close to military base, no undue noise. Good cafe, fair-priced on-site shop, good pool (although v. Busy at peak time).
Helpful staff. Good location close to fantastic surfing beaches: expensive carparks though!
Good local and affordable bus service to town. Plenty of local attractions to visit as well as a good base for touring west Cornwall.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would use this site again.

We stayed at this site at the beginning of June and it was fantastic. Easy to find and well signposted from the main road. On arrival the owners were expecting us and showed us to a large level pitch. The owner was really nice and gave us lots of guide books and money off vouchers as well as local surf tips.
The facilities are great, always clean and well kept. Everything has been thought of even irons and ironing boards. The wifi service is fantastic, we used it on a laptop and an ipod and it was really good.
The sight itself is well laid out and seemed to get constant sunshine.
The noise from the airport was very minimal as we only heard the air ambulance a few times a day.
There is a bus stop at the sight entrance which goes straight into Newquay, we used this to save trying to park our van and it only to 10 mins.
The cafe on sight provides great food and is very reasonable.
Unfortunately our beloved classic campervan broke down 3 days in to a week holiday and had to be recovered back to S. Wales so we didn't get a chance to use the bar or other facilities.
We loved this site and are booking to go back later this summer when the van is fixed.
This is by far the best site Ive visited in the UK and a great base to explore Cornwall, we can't wait to go back.
