Booked for 4 Days, managed to stay for 8, lovely site, 100% friendly, 100% clean. Stayed first 4 days on top tier by reception, all new bollards up there that have water, elec & tv, so fully serviced kit came out of the wet locker,no water fetching :-). Had to move to lower tier by the lodges for the rest of my stay, wash block still immaculate but had to fetch my own water, kept me fit. Tv reception on lower tier was poor so needed to get the satellite out & struggled to get a wifi connection with my dongle even on a 5 meter extension lead
Will come again as it is excellent value. Bikers on devils bridge at the weekend is a must see. Even went paddling in the river it was that warm. White scar caves & Ingleton waterfalls walk also on the must do list, both great value & 10 mins away.

Read the reviews, booked it, and yes they are all true! Excellent site, everything top notch, will definitely go back and will use as our base to tour the lakes. Toilets were spotless and the family shower rooms are a great idea. Small shop on site which is well stocked for emergency essentials. The wigwams look fab if you want to treat the young ones. Very friendly managment.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Woodclose Park. This is an ideal site for walking particularly along the river and the site is only a 10 minute walk to Kirby Lonsdale. There's a wide selection of restaurants and pubs in Kirby Lonsdale. Staff are friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower facilities on the site are very good and are maintained to a high standard. Well stocked shop. Other facilities such as laundry and wash up area also very good. A lovely, quiet and very well kept site. We will definitely be booking again.

Just returned from a long weekend at this excellent site. Shower rooms are great. Nice hot showers, clean & tidy.
Tv reception is excellent with the tv hook up. You can take your own as we did or they can be bought for £6 from reception.
A 15 minute walk takes you into the centre of town. Kirkby Lonsdale is a busy little market town with good shops, eateries and plenty of good pubs.
Devils bridge on the weekend is packed with bikers which is a must see even if you're not into motorbikes.
Some good walks nearby either short or strenuous.
Definitely coming back here, it's spot on

Just returned from a weekend break at Woodclose Park.
The park is well set out and very well maintained. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. Stocks some lovely bread from local bakers and free range eggs. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The site is an easy walk into Kirkby Lonsdale which is a lovely market town with lots of unique independent shops.
The shower and toilet blocks are modern, well equipped and clean. The shower rooms are big with a toilet, shower adn washbasin in each and baby changing table.
I think this is a great site and would love to return.

Shown to pitch with offer of help to site but no problem
Hard standing (van and awning) with piped freeview and ehu
Facilities spotless and very modern

We have just arrived home from Woodclose Park in Kirkby Lonsdale, we are quite new to touring, we found this site just perfect, it was really easy to find, really close to Devils Bridge. The site was immaculate and our pitch was level and very easily accessible,
The man who runs the park showed us to our pitch and helped us move our caravan into place, at first we thought this may be because we were novice caravanners, but we spotted him helping other people too, very nice man. The site has a little well stocked shop for essentials.
The facilities (toilets/showers) are excellent, me and my husband looked forward to our lovely shower each day, showers /Wet room are situated in a whole room of their own, includes sink / toilet mirror, everything you need to get yourself ready in the morning, I didn't use the hair dryer at the park, but believe there is one in the laundry room,
We stayed Mon-Thurs and paid £11.75 per night, £1 each per dog, we have two and £1 per night for our porch awning, includes all the facilities showers electric hook up. All in all,
We loved our stay here and will definitely be booking for a long weekend again soon.

First real outing for our newly-acquired folding caravan. We booked last minute and were told we would have to move between two pitches, which wasn't a problem.
When we arrived late evening after a puncture, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and they managed to find somewhere we could stop for both nights.
This is a lovely site, quiet but not deserted, the showers were clean and warm, good shop on site and lovely people running it! The walk into Kirkby Lonsdale is easy too, with all the nice pubs and shops, and there is a supermarket near by, should you need one.
All in all, a fabulous start to our caravanning career. We will be going back, very soon!

Very nice site, though geared towards the caravanner rather than camping, facilities spot on, but try and find bottom block facilities as these are warmer and open all the time,
Quiet place to camp as almost total lack of kiddies, never saw or heard one. The wildlife is fascinating with birds, rabbits and the funny `sheep` with long necks ! As this site is quite close to us, may go again soon.
