Friendly receptionist on arrival. First impressions of site clean and tidy. We were on hard standing with electrical hook up, most pitches unlevel, would recommend using last pitches, as the noise from the club house was very loud and we could hear it till 12am. Very Good children's play facilities that were being well used. We did'nt use the pool or club but they seemed ok. Don't relay on the shop, stocks the most basic items. Surrouding area very nice with some lovely walks and villages. Only fault with reception that they did'nt seem to have any knowledege of the surrounding area, if you need advise about walks make sure you have your own ordanance survey map. Otherwise toilets ok, campers seemed happy. I would score site 7 out of 10

Just back from this camp. Lovely camp with good facilities, normally we are awning drinkers ,but the camp has a nice club, with a kids games room. We decided to check it out on the sat night and was really good. Theres a play area for the kids, and loads of room for ball games. WIFI internet availible at £5 a day or £10 for three days which was great for my daughters addiction to MSN. There's a fairly well stocked shop, we used tescos about 2 mile away. We stayed on the grass pitches, altough roomy they were on a slope, plus electric kept tripping which can be a pain. Gents toilets didnt seem well cleaned, bit smelly but shower cubicles very big. All in all I would rate this camp 8/10 good facilities but not in your face like a haven kind of place, will be back soon.

Just returned from three rivers park today due to my son not being well & I have two days left paid for.
Fair play to three rivers they gave me a credit note for me to return at my leisure when I explained my situation.
The site is in a lovely location with a nice warm indoor pool.
Didn't go in the club but it seems nice & staff are very friendly & ready to help.
I shall return when the weather picks up & my son does as well ha! ha!

We stayed at this site over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Good points:
Nice location, decent ground for camping, proximity to plenty of great towns, villages and great countryside.
Not so good points:
Irritating swipe card system for shower/toilet blocks, very average toilet facilities, showers that sprayed in every direction other then down, lack of lighting at night in some parts of the site.
Bad points:
Lack of enforcement of site rules, particularly at night when people (including young kids) were making excessive noise up to and beyond 2am. Lack of interest from staff when issues regarding the behavious of other 'guests' raised with them.
Would we stay there again? Probably not.

Arrived around 17:00hrs on a Friday and got quite a good choice of hard-standing sites. All sites required some form of levelling. Chose a quite spot near the top of the touring area, very good choice. Water point was surrounded by mud, although incessant rain has beset the area a little ground work here could make a better water fill up point. Kids play areas were good and the site was relatively clean. Shower blocks were clean although showers did spray all around except down, roomy cubicle though. Overall a nice place for a weekend visit, remote though from the town.

We came here for our first ever tent holiday. Our pitch was lovely - in a tree-lined field with EHU and water point nearby. We could choose our pitch and there was lots of space. The ground was quite rocky underneath the surface. It was fairly peaceful. The toilet/shower block was a bit dated but adequate and reasonably clean on the whole. We didn't use the extra facilities so can't comment on those. Our only real grip was that the EHU is only a 6 amp power supply and there are signs everywhere telling you that you can't use an electric heater. Unfortunately, they failed to mention this on their website or when we phoned to book so we ended up cold and miserable because we had relied on being able to plug in our fan heater. Also, the charge for an extra utility tent is £5 per night even though caravan awnings are only £2.50. Tent campers were in a minority as this site is mostly statics and a lesser number of touring caravans and motor homes. A nice area though - scenic and some pleasant nearby villages/towns to visit. Clitheroe has a Booths as well as a middle-sized Tesco and Sainsburys.

Just returned from a wet and very very cold weekend! We were late-ish arriving on site on Friday, at approx 6.30pm, and had a choice of 3 pitches, all of which were on 2 directional slopes, so had a nightmare getting the TT level, then cooking and eating on a slope all weekend was horrendous! The site itself was good for the kids, with 2 play areas and a 'arcade' type room. The pool was only just over a metre deep, not very warm and packed with kids, because of the weather. We lasted 10 minutes and got out - a waste of £10! (2 adults/3 kids) £10 swipe card needed for entry to shower/ toilet block (refundable), but rarely worked - had to get ours changed 3 times in 3 days! Showers seemed nice and newish, but nightmare to use, as each one I tried sprayed in any direction but down! All taps on site were either push down type or on sensors, and they all caused so much pressure you got soaked. Overall, not a bad site, but wouldn't rush back, and if I ever did, would need to get there early in the day to avoid the slopes!

Just returned from a very wet weekend at this site. It was very quiet and therefore we was given the pick of the pitches which were very nice and flat. The site had a pool and club which due to it being very wet we tried, the pool was ok but nothing to rave about, and the club had very similar traits to Phoenix Nights, however these is a sort of Arcade room where you can take drinks from the bar so we stayed in there and played pool. The toilets and showers were good, all the controls were on sensors making them more hygenic however it did mean you couldn't control the power or heat of the shower but as it was they were both hot and powerful. We went to a Indian Resturant in Clitheroe called Balti Spice and although it doesn't look much from the outside the curry was the best I have had. The site is fairly local to us within the hour so will therefore be going again for a quick weekend away. The only thing I would say is that because it is primarily statics and holiday homes we did find quite a lot of snobbery around from those who are regulars however because we was in a group it didn't really matter.

Arrived Friday night, all ready for us with details completed. Nice campsite, plenty of room. Not many people about but probably because the weather forecast was poor!
£10 refundable deposit was required for a card to access the toilets/shower block. The toilets were clean and warm.
The pool was very pleasant and quite warm too, although the jacuzzi was on the cooler side.
All in all a nice site and a nice stay.

Nice little site this, well placed for Clitheroe and Skipton, mainly a holiday home and static site, with around 20 seasonal pitches for touring caravans, and around half a dozen for normal booking. The guy who runs it; Paul, is very pleasant and helpful, and there is a very very small club house that plays bingo, trust me when I say you wont have heard bingo like this before, its very different, but fun. Shower blocks and grounds are nice and well kept, but this site is very quiet, but that suits us fine, so if you have a few children who get easily bored, you may struggle to keem them occupied if your planning on spending alot of time on site, there is no park or play area, but there are grassy areas to play games, also TV reception in this area, is a bit ropey to say the least.
