Spent a lovely few days here over the new year. Site is adult only. Mix of hard standing and grass pitches. Many pitches have own water tap, waste water drain and tv point. Individual showers which were the best I have used on a site with the underfloor heating being very welcome in the cold weather we had.
Lovely open views. Owners very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Site also has a small pitch and put. DVD library also available.
Will return.

Just stayed here for a late weekend - Can thoroughly recommend the site for anyone desiring peace and quiet - superlative shower & toilet facilities - friendly but unobtrusive management and excellent dog walk which for us was a big bonus. We will be back! A visit to local Bishop's Castle is well advised and a meal at the Six Bells reminds me of what pubs should be!
Please note that this is an adults only site and this is strictly enforced. Pitches are all hardstanding and the one's we saw were fully serviced. Prices(reasonable) included hook up, awning, 2 adults though dogs were £1 a night - acceptable as excellent facilities supplied for them.

Spent 1 night here - thought it was somewhat expensive at £20 - but to be fair it was was for a super pitch and included showers. Apparently tv reception isnt good so we were handed an aerial cable by reception which plugged in gave perfect reception.
As said by previous reviewers showers are wonderful - wetrooms with toilets and basins. Lots of hot water and no timer switches.
Site was very busy which shows its popularity. We weren't bothered by road noise at all.
Tuffins just a mile down the road - there is nothing you cannot buy from that store - from having your hair done, to buying a carpet, full supermarket, butchers - the list goes on and on.
On the night we stayed believe owners were away and relief wardens - they were an absolute credit to the site - enormous smiles and nothing too much trouble.

Spent Six Nights nights on this site at the start of our tour of Wales. The views were excellent from our pitch.
The facilities were OK but may soon need updating but were clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. There was a good information hut with free books and DVDs to borrow.
At the entrance there was also a pitch and putt course with was free to use.
Down the road was Tuffets supermarket where you could easily spend and hour or more browsing the endless nick knacks they had and you didn't realise you needed.
Excellent dog walk with fantastic panoramic views. Will come back.

What a fantastic place. We could not find anything wrong with this site. Peaceful, beautiful, outstanding facilities, friendly staff, what more could you want. This is an adult only site which appeals to us. They have a information centre with free DVDs and books to loan during your stay. Harry Tuffins supermarket is only a couple of miles away, and has most things you could need, including supermarket, petrol, car wash (big enough to clean a caravan) newsagents, and a good stock of caravan/camping type items. We were told there is take away facilities in Churchstoke but did not use them on this occasion. Will definitely return!

What a very good site this is, staff greeted us on arrival and walked to pitch to make sure all was well. Booked super pitch with all services, stunning views to Kerry Ridge area. Lots of space around pitches, very good shower block with 4 wet rooms and 2 extra toilets plus larger block in the next part of the site.
Local shops a short drive away with lots of local produce and good laundry service.
Site has small putting green and some nice walks.
Will certainly be back again as it is so peaceful, no road noise and only the odd aircraft from RAF Valley

Spent 3 nights here @ £22 per night for 2 adults, 2 dogs, elec and awning (low season). Camp site is easy to find off a busy main road but easy to miss as sign is obscured by hedging. Road noise was not really noticeable at our pitch but could be if you were pitched nearer the road. It also says no tents but there were 2 or 3 here so definitely worth enquiring.
The man on reception was very friendly and although we were allocated a pitch, he was happy to let us choose our own. We were fortunate to find a pitch near the dog walk which overlooked the hills and the scenery was lovely. The dog walk is securely fenced and a fairly good size for a bit of a run around.
Its a quiet site which you would expect from being an adult only site and there is a friendly atmosphere. The site was very busy and we will definitely be returning again. Could not comment on the site facilities as we do not use them but the toilet block in our area was brand new.

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely site. The young lady on reception was very helpful, taking us on a tour of the site and allowing us to choose from the available pitches. The toilet/shower rooms were brilliant. Dog walk was clean and very tidy.
The site does have a fairly busy road running by which could be quite noisy but didn't put us off. We did not meet the owners during our stay.

Simply the best. This is truly the best site we have ever visited in terms of location and facilities - it just has the lot. The view from most pitches gladdens the heart and the fully serviced aspect makes life a breeze.
The shower facilities - well I wish I had them at home! A delight and a really refreshing change from the norm. A proper shower (no constant button pushing) with really good flow. Spotless and warm surroundings too - even under floor heating.
The arrival / check in process was swiftly expedited and in a very friendly and helpful manner. Every time you saw one of the Daisy Bank team on site they had a friendly word for you.
It's pretty rural and accordingly extremely peaceful at night with very little noticeable road noise - the sheep are noisier!
There is a Harry Tuffins supermarket (and more!) and a Chinese takeaway just down the road in Church Stoke and also a Co-op plus Chinese, Indian and Fish and Chips in Bishops Castle.
The site has a free pitch and putt, which looked like fun but we didn't get round to using. It is great base for touring the Stretton Hills, Long Mynd and other Shropshire delights plus access to mid/ North Wales.
Daisy Bank is a five hour drive from our home on the South Coast. That's such a shame because otherwise we'd be back every weekend. We really did not want to leave.

Very friendly at this lovely site. Pretty easy to find though the brown signs disappear the nearer you get. Got shown to my pitch - hardstanding pitches with hook up and your own tap. Wifi on site worked well. Adult only site, and mostly couples - still felt welcoming for lone travellers. Great views of the Shropshire Hills and a small dog walk on site with fantastic views and benches to sit on. Footpath opposite for a longer stretch. Shower and toilet facilities really excellent - wetrooms and accessible for everyone so well done Daisy Bank for that. Only stopped for one night so not sure about local facilities. Will definitely revisit and ask for the same pitch that I had!
