We found this is a magnificent Campsite on the shores of Loch Ness.
On the first night we stayed on the second row and on the second night we moved up to the first row, the shore of Loch Ness.
The Campsite is very beautiful. The toilets and shower facilities are very clean, but not much room for getting dressed/undressed.
For walking our dogs we only had to across the road on to a little pass, which leads into a nice forest commission road.
All together I really recommend this Campsite to all campers.

Beautiful Site, we were pitched on the shore of the loch & views don't get any better than this! Facilities clean, new shower blocks excellent.
No shop to speak of, nearest is 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive to invermoriston also hotel serving ale & meals.
Waterfall there to visit also. Fort Augustus is lovely 10 minute drive left out of site with supermarkets pubs fuel etc.
Found boat trip on the loch a little disappointing.
Bar wasn't open during our stay so cant comment boat launching & fishing easily accessed off site

This site is only two years old and I have visited quite a few times. The site is nicely laid out and there is plenty of room on pitches, which are very generous. It was quite away to the toilet block from where I was pitched but that is only a small moan.
The site is well maintained and the toilet blocks are clean. Television isn't bad but the site has got TV points but there for freesat and you require satellite cable as opposed to the normal TV Ariel.
It is a nice walk into Fort Augustus we I could sit all day watching the locks opening and closing on the Caledonian Canel.
There are several nice pubs who serves good mails and they are dog friendly in the bars.
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful time a quiet site close to the local amenities then this site is for you, we love it already and will be returning in the very near future.

We stayed at Loch Ness Holiday park over Easter weekend. Just two adults, sleeping in one of the wonderful hobbits.
We had a brilliant weekend, the hobbits are warm and comfortable for two, but I think might be a bit of a squeeze for four although there are four beds There is no storage space at all. Just a small fridge and heater, perfect for our needs.
Showers / toilets / washing up areas were immaculately clean and well kept. The site is in a beautiful spot and we woke on our first morning at 5am to the sunrise over the loch which was as smooth as a millpond creating stunning reflections and amazing photographic memories.
Location is great for walkers. We visited many lovely local attractions, The Waterfall at Foyers and Urquhart Castle. Had an amazing sunday dinner at The Dores Inn ( on the south west bank of lochness)
Site staff we extremely helpful and friendly and we will definitely visit again

This is our second visit to this site and nothing is very different to the first time. The sign is still wrong on the entrance (At least we knew this time and didn't have to turn the caravan around on the lane!)
The facilities are no different although there are now more hardstanding piches. The reception is a bit like an after thought and we had to search out someone to book us in.
There was a rally on the next field but they weren't noisy. It could be a real gem this place but as others have mentioned its the little things that count.
The toilet emptying point is on the entrance drive - a fair distance from the pitches - you wouldn't want to carry it there. There is one large wheelie bin by the entrance and no dog bins.
We felt a bit uncomfortable there this year as there seemed to be a lot of people hanging around reception, litle lighting at night and no security. Perhaps proper wardens who know about caravans and motorhomes would help.
As I said it could be fabulous as there are very few good sites in this area.

We went up in Scotland for a wedding and stayed at 6 sites within our 2 week break (there and back to Kent)
This site was the best in terms of location with fantastic views over Lochness. Our pitch was right on the waters edge, we spent two nights here
The toilets and showers were clean and tidy and the site is well kept,
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only down side was the bar was closed which we were not told when booking, therefore no food or drink on site, which meant after a busy day of siteseeing we then had to go out again to get food instead of relaxing by Lochness,
That said we had a wonderful couple of days here and would go back.

Beautiful setting on the shore of Loch Ness. Clean but basic toilet and shower facilities. We came just before the season officially started so the on site bar/restaurant was shut. The nearest village (Invermoriston) is a good 20 minute walk away - again the local inn was closed, but there was a very friendly and well equipped 'corner store'/post office. Fort Augustus is a long walk on the Great Glen Way - over 3 hours each way (taking into account a long and permanent diversion due to fallen trees in the forest).
A good place for a limited stop over, hard to explore the local area with a motorhome as the roads are pretty tight! Good base for exploring if you have a car or are willing to cycle.

Beautiful site looking over Loch Ness. We were pitched right at the loch side. Pitches are hardstanding with EHU. £18.00 per night, no charge for dogs. The Loo block further in and has 2 loos and 1 shower.
There are also 3 new showers at the end of the block. There is another block just at the gate. The showers are free, push button non adjustable but a good flow and just the right temperature. Only complaint is that the shower tray does not drain quickly and you end up standing in 2 inches of water.
There are 10 new hobbit cabins this year. Busy site even for September, quiet at night. Well lit. Clean and tidy site. The stones of the hard standing are very deep and the caravan mover groans a bit trying to move caravan. I wouldn't like to have to push a caravan.
New childs play area. Fort William 35 miles away and Inverness 28miles away. 2 small supermarkets/shops in Fort Augustus 4 miles away selling all you need.
Also cafes and pubs. Bar open on site serving meals but only in season. Wasn't open when we were there. Very chatty friendly lady showed us to our pitch.Would come again.

Having lost half our tent in high winds, with a mutinous wife and 2 kids, stopped at Loch Ness Caravan Park and booked into a Hobbit. Wow saved the holiday and probably the marriage! The site was clean, staff friendly and helpful. And the Hobbits were out of this world.
A cylindrical wooden cabin sleeping four with heater, fridge, kettle and a great view of the Loch with its own terrace.
The kids took the experience of staying in the Hobbit as a great adventure, as the site also has a purpose built climbing and play park and a beach with the fishing is free! I would fully recommend anyone planning to visit this area to consider the Hobbit option.

Site spacious and clean. Washing facilities also clean with plentiful hot water although sometimes queuing for showers and w.C's.
Very close to the village. Local supermarket and petrol garage in village (not late opening)food seemed to be stopped served at 9pm. Pubs very friendly and serving nice food.
Attractions in form of various cruises of loch ness. You can also watch the boats pass through the caledonian canal early morning.Apart from the annoying midges (head nets available from local garages etc. Pick one up on way ! ) a very enjoyable site
