June 2005 Really great site.
Toilet block modern and very clean. Staff really helpful and pitches nice and big with hook ups available.
Area really great with amazing beach. Good food at the Phoenix and fantastic views at the Extreme Academy. Shame that the walk to the beach is on the main road, take a torch for walking back at night!
Will definitely be returning.

August 2005 Very tidy site, friendly staff, all the amenitys you could need. Only complaint (if you can call it that) was that there was no lighting away from the main buildings so a torch is a must after dark. Very good base to see all kinds of attractions in the surrounding area.Dog freindly beach down the road. Overnight arrivals field, so you don't have to wait on the services for your pitch to become available and once booked in you can us the facilitys straight away. The kids loved the outdoor pool clean and even a lounger or two for spectating parents. Would love to visit again soon, we only had just over a week there and it seemed to pass all to quickly.A+

August 2005 Just had a very enjoyable week at this site. We found the site overall extremely clean. The toilet blocks were spotless at all times though would say that they could do with another shower and toilet block as you did have to queue for a shower sometimes. The beach at Watergate Bay is excellent, one of the best that we visited though the trek down there (or should I say back up) was a bit tough!! There is a large carpark at the beach though which is reasonably priced and the site provides a free bus service also. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful and the shop on site was very well stocked. Overall a fab site, no complaints from us. Defintely worth another visit!!

July 2005 We visited the site on a rainy and windy week in July but found the site welcoming, calm, relaxing (we have never been so chilled out!) and very surfy! Everyone was in wetsuits or off to the beach - and it was freezing! I felt a right wimp, but plenty of entertainment in the evenings, the kids loved it and the beach was lovely. I had hoped it was a safer walk to the beach(on the road) but there is a minibus at certain times so no complaints. Facilities clean and modern, although I would turn the shower temperature up a few degrees! No queues or anything at any time, really relaxing. Would recommend it and will definitely go back (hoping to use the outdoor pool for longer than 2 minutes next time - it was such a cold day!)

June 2005 A nice site with very friendly staff. The toilet & shower block were spotlessly clean though the water in the female showers was often just warm. The clubhouse doesn't look much from the outside but it's a great night out with entertainment each night and very child friendly.
Would go there again.

August 2004 We visited early this year and despite the weather being a big disapointment (we were there during all the floods) we had a great time. Shower block very clean and never any waiting. Excellent sizes of pitches and plenty of room to park your car beside your tent.Staff very friendly and always willing to help. Hoping to visit again next year.

August 2004 £25 a night for 2Ad, 3 Kids and 2 dogs. Nice warm pool but unfortunately the shallow end was to deep for my 5yr old... so they only every used it once. Great place to go if you want to go surfing on Watergate bay beach. Which by the way is unbelivable and very very very clean and is dog friendly.
Cold showers plus queues in the morning but really nice and warm at night. Only once did I have to go seaching for loo roll. The bar was okay although for the size of the park a little small to accomadate most people.
Most picthes were level although I did see a few with slopes. The laundry/washroom was always nice and warm and clean. The big (20p for 7mins) dryer was fantastic, there are smaller ones there that are 50p for 15mins but we never used them..... Downside was there was only one washing machine in that block. They even have a bathroom for disabled people for a £5 security deposit, which you get back once you give the key back in.
Staff wonderfully friendly and always wanting to help.

August 2003 We went last year for 5 days and found everthing from showers to club very good. Nice big pitch for tent plus car plus gazebo etc. Nice area for walking and not far from the bay where all the surfers go. Nice pub in Porth right on the beach, gets quite busy but food and drink were excellent. We are going again this year but for a fortnight this time can't wait.

May 2004 Great Visit, haven't been for a couple of years and what changes have they made, new shower blocks complete with music whilst you shower(local radio). The bar/clubhouse has been totally refurbished and named the Island bar, had a couple of good pints no complaints, never got around to using the takeaway but it certainly didn't look bad! The toilets and showers were very clean on all visits and there didn't appear to be a shortage of hot water. The Launderette was being used all weekend.

We went last August. Nice site but we had a lot of problems with the showers being cold. We also didn't think that there was much space between units. We used the heated pool once but didn't know where the heat was, it was really cold - the sea was warmer. Well positioned for the beautiful beach at Watergate Bay
